Everything was absolutely amazing. I've been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The service is wonderful, our server was nice and attentive. We ordered a couple of appetizers to start off, followed by our entrees. The Serrano ham and manchego cheese croquettes were to die for, they were so soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. We also had chorizo as an appetizer which was grilled to perfection. The chorizo came with a chimichurri on the side which was extremely flavorful. As an entree I enjoyed the churrasco medium well, they cooked it exactly as ordered. My friends had the New York strip and churrasco as well and they really enjoyed it. Another item that was amazing was the truffle fries, they layer shredded manchego cheese on top which just makes it that much better. For the dessert we ordered the pineapple filled with crema de catalana. It had compressed pineapple, orange-pineapple gelato and an orange zest. It honestly tasted like I was having an orange dream bar. I enjoyed it very much. They bring it out all extravagantly with dry ice so it's smoking. The vibes of this restaurant are very rustic chic, they really set the vibe for an amazing dining experience. You've got to check them out if you're in Kendall.

Last night, Friday night, was my birthday weekend, and although I've never been one to make a big deal about celebrating my birthday, Erika B wanted to take me out to dinner and suggested Carnicero Restaurant in Kendall. Looking back, I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the evening. When we arrived, there was a huge line of people waiting, which is usually a sign that something special is happening inside. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess with a beautiful smile who assured us the wait would only be about 30 minutes. We decided to grab a couple of seats at the bar while we waited, and that's when the evening started feeling extra special. The bartender welcomed us with a smile and the very first words out of his mouth were, "Happy Birthday!" To this day, I'm not sure how he knew, but it immediately made me feel welcomed and appreciated. We enjoyed glasses of the house red wine, a wonderful Ribera del Duero from Spain, and shared an order of beef croquettes that were absolutely amazing. True to their word, about 30 minutes later, the bartender personally escorted us to our table. Our server, Iliana, introduced herself and quickly became one of the highlights of our visit. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. We shared the 12-ounce Denver Wagyu steak and the 12-ounce lechón asado, accompanied by moros, plátanos maduros, and tostones. Every dish arrived fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the food was outstanding from start to finish. Just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better, the staff surprised me by bringing out a flaming pineapple while singing Happy Birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration feel even more special. Inside the pineapple was a Crema Catalana that was simply incredible and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. What impressed me most wasn't just the food, it was the people. From the hostess, to the bartender, to Iliana, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant was spotless and beautifully decorated, and for a few hours I felt like I had been transported back to Spain instead of being in Miami. A heartfelt thank you to Erika B for planning such a wonderful evening and to the entire Carnicero team for making my birthday celebration one I'll remember for a long time. Great food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere made for a truly unforgettable Friday night. I highly recommend Carnicero and look forward to returning soon.

Great platter and enjoyed the food and atmosphere, it was busy would recommend making a reservation or try to come a week day, service was still good. Really liked the coffee desert drink too. Would come back

Raw meat completely inedible, fries came cold. Extremely disappointing. Their croquetas were amazing 10/10. But raw burgers are completely unacceptable!

Came here on a Friday night and had a solid experience overall. We arrived around 5:45 and waited about 35 minutes. There were several parties waiting and more continued to arrive, so I'd recommend planning to get there early. The restaurant has a modern farmhouse vibe that feels warm and comfortable without being overly trendy. Food was very good overall. The steaks were cooked well, and the churrascos came with chimichurri and salt on the side. The sides paired nicely with everything we ordered, and a huge shoutout for being one of the few restaurants that serve tostones crispy. The lobster had good flavor but was a bit dry, and melted butter on the side would have really helped. Service was a highlight. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, plates were cleared quickly as we ate, and utensils were replaced after appetizers and before the main courses. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, we had a good experience and would return.

Celebrated a family member's birthday at Carnicero in Kendall today. Since they don't accept reservations, we ended up waiting at least 30 minutes because our full party wasn't onsite yet. Once inside, it was a pleasant and delicious experience. Great service. Great food. We started our meal with appetizers such as ceviche bites, truffle fries, las croquetas(stole the show). The complimentary bread and butter was warm and delicious. My entree as the churrasco (medium), moros and maduros. I still had room for dessert so I ordered the chocolatera, a chocolate mousse on top and vanilla icecream at the bottom. This is definitely a must dine at restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is moody and it was not too packed when I went. Our server Mario was absolutely amazing he made the experience so much better, very friendly and charismatic. For drinks I got the Put-in cocktail which was deliciously sweet and refreshing with a side of popping boba, there's not a lot of wine options by the glass but the one we picked was fantastic. To start I had the wagyu tar tar which is prepared table side with jamón ibérico on top, the ceviche bites , and the croquetas which was all very delicious. For main dish I got the churrasco cooked as recommend (medium) and I also tried the Denver Wagyu , both came with a side of chimichurri and both were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. For sides I had the maduros, arroz Moro , yuca fries , and the potatoes asada which were all fantastic. For dessert they had a turrón dessert which was like nothing I've ever tried before. Overall I thought it was a great spot and very reasonably priced.

We went here on a Monday morning without a reservation and were seated right away with no wait. To start, we tried the fried garbanzo beans, and they were absolutely delicious. They were a great way to kick off the meal. For our mains, we had the filet mignon and the picanha, and both were excellent. The meats were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. We finished by ordering the crema Catalina which they put their own twist to it by serving it on a pineapple. Very fun. The service was also very good. Our servers were attentive and checked in on us regularly throughout the meal. If I'm being completely honest, at the beginning it felt a little like they were trying to upsell us on a few things. However, as the meal went on, things felt much more relaxed, and they were genuinely very nice and accommodating. I'd definitely come back.

Today June 10, 2026 I went to this restaurant Carnicero in Kendall, and it was well worth it. Francisco really run this bar like a pro, how do you handle all of this so seamlessly. I love how attentive you are, even when the service bar is slammed. The flavor were perfectly balanced, and was cooked to absolute perfection. It was so incredibly tender I could cut it with a butter knife. From the host who greeted me with a smile to the entire staff made me feel like VIP. My churrasco was so perfect, juicy. And of course, El Flan with lemon zest, yummy . I will come back for sure, well recommended. Keep up the good work. G.B.

I came here for my son's bday and the food was absolutely delicious and awesome service as well. The ambiance is nice and clean. I really love the esthetics of the place. Very fancy looking. I recommend for dated and celebrations with loved ones. I got the platter that had steak, chicken, pork and sausages. All was very delicious including the drink.

Carnicero was better then we expected. The service was great. Decor was amazing. Fun atmosphere and plenty of room for large groups to celebrate a birthday. If it's your first time I highly recommend "las croquettes" to start. They're delicious and fried to perfection. Also a great choice for you and the date is the "Carnicero board" it has a wide variety of items from the menu and it is delicious. The prices are also very fare. We didn't make a reservation but the wait time was short. However I recommend you make one. Great restaurant, really enjoyed everything. Decor is very nice.

Came here with the family and we all loved it. The ranchero decor was nice inside. I came here for the lamb chops and they were delicious. The roasted chicken also very good too. The server was very attentive and walk us thru since this was our first time. Will definitely come back for more lamb chops.

The food here is very affordable, they are very tasty, very clean place and large portions. If ever you want to visit here, you should make a reservation in advance because thre are too many people who come here and there's a chance that there won't be any seats available by the time you arrive. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.
