Service from Jose was awesome - extremely thorough & listened attentively to my wife's preferences. He selected her cocktail as well as helped with her meal which was amazing! Beautiful and festive with Christmas decorations it was clean as well. Food was excellent! The lomo saltado was superior in every way. Thank you for a great lunch experience. We enjoyed it very much, especially Jose's service!

Had a better experience this time around. The waitress was nice and service was quick. I ordered a dulce de leche milkshake and it was decent. It's quite large, so I imagine it's meant to be shared. However, I don't think it's worth $18.

Great time with friends in Summer 2019. It was quite busy. Food and drinks were great. I would return, it's been a while so I hope they have maintained quality and maybe less busy.

The service and food was phenomenally good. Our waitress was great, thank you. Ambiance was good around 2pm on a Wednesday. I would definitely go back. I got the poke bowl and it was super good, healthy with tuna

Bocas House in Doral invited me back and wow--what a difference since my last visit! We went on Saturday (8/16/25) and everything from the service to the food was absolutely incredible. Oriana took care of us and she was super friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. We ordered the Foodie Style Beef Milanese, the Filet Mignon with Truffle Fettuccine, and the Bocas House Roll (which I highly recommend to anyone dining here). Every dish was bursting with flavor. The Milanese came out perfectly crispy, with fresh golden fries on the side that had just the right crunch. The filet mignon was cooked beautifully, and the truffle fettuccine it was served with was unforgettable--the pasta was creamy, the truffle flavor rich and aromatic, and the mushrooms gave it that earthy depth that tied everything together. The Bocas House Roll was a fun surprise, fresh, flavorful, and a must-try. We finished our meal with their Cookies & Cream Blondie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The combination of the warm blondie with the cold, creamy ice cream was the perfect sweet ending. Another thing that stood out was how clean and welcoming the restaurant was this time around--everything felt well-kept, polished, and inviting. Overall, it was such a positive experience, and I'm happy to say we'll definitely be coming back again soon!

Came for the shakes, and it did not disappoint. Came on a Friday evening, the parking lot wasn't full and the restaurant wasn't crowded. We were greeted and seated immediately. The server was attentive. This is a Peruvian fusion restaurant with a churrasco twist. Although we didn't come for the food, the items on the menu looked really good. If you decide to come here, bring a sweater, the AC is keeping the place cold...about mid 60s? Finally, this place will cost you of you come for dinner; lunch and brunch items seemed more reasonable (15-20$). Come hungry or other mouths to feed.

High quality food for very reasonable affordable prices Pros: -Cachapa Cake: amazing! The salty and savoryness of the cheese balance the semi-sweet cake -Vuelve A La Vida -servers were knowledgable about their restaurant and menu -plenty of seating inside and like their overall layout with a bar and booth, table seating -easy payment with mobile payment system Cons: -pork and chips were a bit of a disappointment with the pork a little overcooked and not much flavor profile except for the saltiness

The food here is AMAZING! I had a filet with truffle pasta and it was definitely a do over! The music was way too loud when we arrived but our waitress Stephani promptly had the volume adjusted it to an acceptable level. Stephanie is a great waitress & made our meal a great experience.

Ask the Community - Bocas House

Do they have brunch on saturday?

No why would they.

How are the drink prices and do they have alcohol?

Drinks cost from 9-15 dollars and everyone seemed to like the sangria. I didn’t feel like it had enough alcohol and I’m not a heavy drinker. I tried the passion fruit sangria and sent it back because it was not flavorful.

What are the vegan options?

Burrata & Quinoa (sans burrata) Quinoa Salad with Falafel Croquettes Tallarin Saltado al Wok with…

How far is it from MIA intl airport?

9-10 miles, about 20 minutes (variable depending on traffic)

Do u have kids menu?

Yes they do

On busy days does the food suffer in quality?

I was there at prime time (a Friday at 7:30) and it was great. I don't think Bocas has a day that isn't busy. It's always buzzing!

How long are the wait times usually on saturdays?

I went shortly after they opened on a Saturday and there was no wait at all, we were seated right away. I did notice by the time we left there was a crowd and the expected wait was 45 minutes.

We were lucky to be under the specialized and meticulous care of Idelis, one of the bartenders and a founder of this Doral location. We started with a tasting of the Wines of the Month: * The Gold Rush California Red; highly cherry-fruity with nice depth. * The Vinho Verde; crisp, refreshing, with a very light bubbly sensation. After the tasting, and keeping in mind her preference for reds, we decided to go with 2 bottles of Pinot Noir; elegant, with beautiful red fruit notes, soft tannins, and that classic silky finish that makes it so versatile and easy to enjoy. We started with the house pretzel bun with butter, which is always excellent. From the seasonal menu, we tried the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, which were very good. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna and I had the Shanghai Braised Short Rib; tender, perfectly cooked meat with a delicious soy-chili glaze, accompanied by roasted broccolini, shiitake mushrooms, and wasabi silky buttery mashed potatoes. The portions were perfect and the mix of flavors in the sauce and the mashed potatoes is something I can't even describe absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, the Summer Peach Butter Cake (the seasonal option) was already finished, which was very disappointing we couldn't understand why, especially since it was relatively early. We ended up ordering the Key Lime Pie instead, which was very balanced in flavor and sweetness. The crust was excellent and gave the impression of being homemade. Another great visit overall at Cooper's Hawk. The service, the wine, and most of the food never disappoint.

To Whom It May Concern at 107 Steak & Bar, I am writing this…read moreletter because I am beyond frustrated with the experience I had at your establishment during your so-called "happy hour," and frankly, I don't think "happy" is the right word for anything about what happened to me. I came in expecting a relaxing evening and a fair bill, and instead I left feeling like I had been nickel-and-dimed and taken advantage of, and I am not the type of person who just lets this kind of thing slide. First, let's talk about the tax situation, because this is where things really started to go wrong. When I got my bill, I noticed that I was charged two separate taxes on my order. Two. Not one, TWO. I don't know if this was a glitch in your point-of-sale system, an error by the server, or some intentional double-dipping happening behind the scenes, but either way, it is not okay. I did the math myself, more than once, because I genuinely could not believe what I was looking at. I am not a tax attorney, but even I know that being charged tax twice on the same items is not normal, not standard, and not something I should have to catch myself. Shouldn't your staff and your systems be checking for this kind of thing BEFORE handing a customer their check? I felt like I had to do your accounting for you at the table, which is not what I came out to do on a Friday evening during happy hour. Second, and honestly this might frustrate me even more than the tax issue, I was charged an automatic gratuity fee despite being ONE customer. Just me. A party of one. I understand that some restaurants apply automatic gratuity to large parties because splitting a big check and handling a bigger table is more work for the server, and I get that, that makes sense. But I was sitting alone at the bar during happy hour. There was no large party. There was no complicated split. There was just me, ordering my food and drinks like a normal customer, and somehow I still got hit with an automatic gratuity charge as if I had rolled in with a party of twelve. That is not fair, and I don't think it should be the customer's job to cover an automatic fee that was clearly meant for larger groups. If your policy is going to apply gratuity fees regardless of party size, that needs to be disclosed clearly, upfront, before I order, not buried in a bill I only see after the fact. Honestly, between the double taxation and the unwarranted gratuity fee, I feel like I was charged for things I should not have been charged for, and I think 107 Steak & Bar needs to take responsibility for this. I believe the store, not the customer, should absorb the cost of an automatic gratuity fee when it is mistakenly applied to a single customer's bill. That is a business error, not a customer error, and it should not come out of my pocket. I am asking for the following: 1. A full refund or credit for the duplicate tax charge on my bill. 2. A refund or removal of the automatic gratuity fee, since I was dining alone and did not agree to or warrant that charge. 3. Some explanation as to how this happened, so I have some confidence this won't happen to me or another customer again. I really wanted to enjoy my time at your restaurant, and I know mistakes happen, but this is exactly the kind of thing that makes a customer think twice about coming back. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to this matter, because right now I am not a happy customer, and "happy hour" is starting to feel like a bit of a joke. I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Sincerely, A Frustrated Customer

We arrived to a pretty quiet dining room, though it slowly filled up as brunch hours kicked in. No chaos, no delays--just a smooth, well-paced experience from start to finish. The brunch menu is stacked. Plenty of variety, and everything that hit the table delivered. Generous portions, beautifully presented, and most importantly--consistently delicious across a group this size (which is no small feat). Service was a standout. The staff was attentive, organized, and incredibly patient with our large party. Drinks refilled, requests handled quickly--it felt seamless. The space itself has great potential for a lively vibe, with a full bar and a stage that suggests live entertainment. That said, brunch felt a bit low-energy compared to what the setup hints at. A little music or ambiance would elevate the experience even more. Finally, our waiter was really cool, sidenote dude could pass for Maluma. We ordered bottomless drinks - mojitos for myself & mimosas for my date; our drinks were never empty. The hostess was also accommodating when we had to shift our reservation time. Great service all around! Onto our food: they have a three course brunch menu where you pick one appetizer, a main and a dessert. Among our group, we all picked different courses to share and sample (we even had sharing plates). My sides were the manchego & serrano ham croquettes (5 per plate) and also seasoned the beef empanadas my ladyfriend ordered. The margherita flatbread, as well as the chicken Parm, were well seasoned with a robust flavored marinara sauce. I sampled a spoon of the mushroom risotto and wouldn't mind trying a little more again. Of course you could never go wrong with a chicken and waffles for brunch. #Classic. As far as desserts amongst our group, we tried all three of their brunch selections. I personally went for the guava one and the birthday girl enjoyed the chocolate brownie à la mode. The servers even sang happy birthday for her. I would definitely say this place is worth the drive West and look forward to trying it again.
