Every single person I've brought here leaves just as obsessed as I am with this restaurant. I've been like 4x already and this time I got something totally different--the French burrito was calling my name & it did not disappoint. I got it with no peppers and added turkey bacon, the sauces provided pair well with the juiciness of the flavors. They've also expanded their matcha & they had a new one that contained dates & protein in it. I forgot the name but that was delicious and filling. I was in between their fresh juices but i ended up ordering the chai latte instead & i added espresso to it--super tasty. My friend got the strawberry matcha & it was also to die for. There's really nothing negative to state, the people in my party ordered the dulce de leche French toast & the bacon cheeseburger so we all got to try a variety of things. I never have room for dessert or pastries but i wanna check it out next time. If you can find parallel parking nearby, please do so bc the parking garage's flat rate is about $20 or more. Had a great experience here! The food was so bomb and there were actually some good healthy options in addition to more decadent and sweet ones. Obviously I had to try a little of each and thoroughly enjoyed both! My Turkish eggs were a perfect, refreshing breakfast, and the Nutella croissant was such a delightful treat. After coming here recently for a Yelp event, I very quickly came back with my husband in tow! We were sat immediately and Maday was a fantastic server - helping us order of coffee and a cookie croissant almost immediately! I tried the pistachio latte, which was delicious - it wasn't too sweet, but the pistachio creme and actual nuts added some fun to the beverage. The cookie croissant, warmed up, was decadent and such a crazy sweet treat to start the meal. I opted for the Israeli breakfast - it was just hearty and everything was so fresh and flavorful. I love the halloumi cheese, tomatoes and olives in particular. My husband went for the truffle croque madame and it was massive - he had to take half of it home, which he almost never does! Came to Café Bastille for a Yelp event and brought my mom along for a cute little mother-daughter brunch date... and Yelp might've put me on to something with this one. First off, the service really stood out to me. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive and genuinely nice. I especially loved seeing how much the staff helped each other. You could literally see the teamwork throughout the restaurant, and I love that because it makes such a difference in the overall experience. Everything flowed, the food came out in a timely manner, and we always felt taken care of. We originally sat outside because the patio is adorable, but Miami started Miami-ing and it was just a little too hot for us lol, so we moved inside. They were super accommodating about it. Also, a little warning from your Yelp friend: downtown Miami parking is atrocious if you don't know the area. Save yourself the character development and Uber. Nowwww, the food. I ordered the passionfruit smoothie, pain au chocolat and the steak & eggs. When I tell you the steak & eggs is a REAL meal, come hungry! It's tender short ribs over roasted potatoes with two sunny-side-up eggs, cilantro dressing and a delicious sauce on the side. The short ribs were incredibly soft and tender, almost like a brisket situation, and the portion of meat was HUGE. Honestly, it could easily be shared. I ate about half before my stomach politely told me we were finished and the rest came home with me. The potatoes were delicious, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I really appreciated all the different flavors in the dish. Everything worked so well together. Definitely not your basic little steak-and-eggs brunch situation. The pain au chocolat was approximately the size of my head... and I have a big head, so please understand the measurements here lol. It was really good! I do wish it had been served warm and had a little more chocolate inside, but I'd absolutely order it again. Next time I'd probably get it by itself with a latte or hot chocolate and have myself a cute little pastry moment. And the passionfruit smoothie? Soooo good. Refreshing, flavorful and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because we don't need all that extra sugar. We have figures to watch around here. My mom really enjoyed herself too, which made the experience even better. A glimpse of Paris in the middle of Miami. I found this spot on TikTok before coming to Miami and it was on my must-see list. It was too busy to get a seat on Sunday morning so we came back on Monday morning and were seated immediately. We chose inside seating for a break from the Miami heat but it was even a little warm inside. The decor is adorable and Instagram worthy. But it's not just a cute spot with mediocre food. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I had. I started with the summer Bellini. It was adorned with a slice of dragonfruit and the peach flavor was full and robust. For brunch I had the salmon omelette without tomatoes/onions. It was so full of flavor. I think the truffle oil is what took it over the top. The avocado spread on the multigrain sourdough bread was so good. The side of potatoes was good but I restrained myself by only having a few bites. Service was also good. I believe our server's name was Ebony. She was super kind and attentive. A short walk from the Kimpton Epic hotel for a trip to Paris! I can't wait to return. read more

WOW. Ambiance, service, food and drinks were all a 10/10!! We came around 8:30 on a Sunday and the restaurant wasn't packed but wasn't empty. It was extremely hot and humid outside so we sat inside, but I was surprised to see how many people were sitting outside. Javier was our server and he was wonderful. He took good care of us and gave us great food suggestions. I got their croissant egg sandwich and that was great. The side sauce it came with was perfect for the sandwich. We also got the blueberry pancakes and that was delicioussss. So much blueberry and cream, it was amazing. They also have a cute mimosa in the morning and that hit the spot. The menu is extensive enough to fulfill all your breakfast, brunch & lunch desires! I ordered the Israeli Breakfast & it did not disappoint. Although I asked for my eggs over easy they came a bit more towards over hard. No big deal as it was still quite tasty! My regular drip coffee was also quite good & freshly brewed. My friend had the eggs Benedict with turkey. Everything was good albeit a bit slow for my dish to come out while my friend's dish came out in a flash. The asthetic is a nice interior but parking is limited and a bit pricey but it is downtown Miami so that really isn't their fault. The steak and eggs were fantastic. The braised short rib was melt in your mouth and had a great meaty savory taste. The pancake was average but the compote took it up a notch. The strawberry matcha was smooth and delicious and had a nice strawberry flavor to it. My only critique would be the service. I had to ask for a fork to eat my food and for some syrup for my pancake. It was also sometimes hard to get in touch with staff. The Ambiance is that of an outdoor cafe with indoor patio like seating options. We saw this place on Instagram and decided to stop in. We love matcha and decided to get a strawberry matcha and a tiramisu matcha. Total was $29 for 2 matcha drinks + 18% gratuity. Absolutely not worth it! The strawberry was pretty good. They were able to substitute the milk for coconut milk. They weren't able to substitute the foam for non dairy foam, so we got no foam. The tiramisu matcha was terrible. It tastes NOTHING like tiramisu. All they needed to do was make the mascarpone sweeter and thicker, and use sweetened condensed milk mix for the milk then soak the lady finger in espresso or sprinkle espresso on top. I was so disappointed it tasted like snot in a glass with matcha on top to me. The manager was very nice, she asked me if I liked it and I was honest with her she replaced my drink with a strawberry matcha. They took forever getting my strawberry matcha to me, it was getting busy but our server never came back to our table to give me my new drink. He was awful. The ambiance was decent, the table will ruin your clothes. The cocking glue melted off onto my partners pants. Sit inside if you can! read more

My husband and friends really enjoyed their meals. The truffle fries were really good, very crispy and fresh. They had freshly squeezed green apple juice which was actually delicious. Not sure if the hype is real at Cafe Bastille. Didn't have the amazing experience as expected on our visit. Love the decor and true French vibe and there is a bakery side and the brunch/restaurant side. Staff was super friendly and nice but service was lacking as it did take some time for our food to arrive. There seems to be a lack of timing and communication between the restaurant side and bakery side as the croissant we ordered arrived first and it arrived cold when it was asked to be warmed and toasted. Cafe Latte was not delivered until the smoke salmon omelette arrived later down the road. Utensils were dirty and water cups were dirty as they had to be replace twice. We also found a strand of hair in the house potatoes but granted we sat outside and it may have flew from any direction from anyone. First and foremost, upon walking up the aesthetic is so cute! It has a very chic garden feel. Even the napkins have cute flowers on them. We had a train to catch so got there right when it opened. Very disappointing experience. This restaurant is not inexpensive, so we expected much better service and quality. We had previously visited the Fort Lauderdale location and had a great experience, so we came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The food took way too long to arrive and came out at different times, so we were not able to eat together. When my son's plate finally arrived, we had to send it back and have it remade because there was a hair in the food. I understand that mistakes can happen, but combined with everything else, it made the experience unacceptable. The food quality was also disappointing. The acai bowl was extremely sweet, even though I specifically requested it without honey. The Benedicts were supposed to come with thick-cut bacon, but the bacon was thin and overcooked/burnt, which was not what we expected. The coffee arrived with the entire cup covered in spilled coffee, the service was very slow, and the overall attention was disappointing. On top of that, considering how hot it is outside, there are no fans available, and customers are not allowed to sit inside, making the wait even more uncomfortable. We expected much better, especially after our positive experience at the Fort Lauderdale location. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet the standards we were hoping for and we would not return. read more

We were looking for a place to get breakfast while in Miami for a cruise. The prices are high but the food is excellent and worth the price. We were there early, right as they opened. The service was top notch and the staff is very attentive and friendly explaining everything clearly. My wife had the avocado toast which was a very generous portion, it included an entire avocado and three poached eggs. I had the croissant sandwich which was absolutely delicious. It's a small cafe attached to its bakery. The inside was very nice and clean and they also had the option for dining outside. We were staying at a nearby five star hotel and the food at Cafe Bastille was much better. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back when we're in Miami for another cruise. read more
