We were greeted and upon being seated, ordered some wine, wayuu burger and chicken Parmesan Both plates served quick, nicely presented and tasty. Note to customers: Parking is hard on the Brickell area, your best bet is by using the underneath garage, there is no validation parking (only a few business still offering on this shopping mall), expect to pay $6 hr. Everything in this picture was cooked to perfection! Even the English muffin was not store bought but artistically made. Excellent! I sat at the bar myself and service was immediate and friendly. I love places that have sparkling filtered tap at no charge as this cafe does. It's located on the second floor or the BCC but once you're inside there's no noise from the mall and it's quite elegant but quaint inside, and prices are very reasonable. Stopped by Café Americano in Brickell City Centre and instantly got the upscale café vibe--bright, busy, and packed. Prices are on the higher side for a cafe ($25 for a burger and fries), but maybe that's just Brickell being Brickell. Food-wise, it was a mixed bag. Most of my friends loved their meals. The burgers got rave reviews, and one friend's steak and eggs from the brunch menu was a hit--though the "medium" steak arrived very well-done. The real star? The giant, flaky croissant she ordered on the side. Total showstopper. I went for the garlicky shrimp bowl. The shrimp themselves? Delicious. The rest of the bowl? Could've used way more flavor. The pumpkin seeds added an interesting crunch and a little health bonus, but overall it was kind of bland. My friend who got the truffle fries said they needed way more truffle and some Parmesan to really deliver. Service was... not it. Our server took our order and basically disappeared. No water refills until the very end, and the bus boy who promised to bring me a kids menu so I could color never came back with it (tragic). Probably just too slammed to keep up, but it did take away from the experience. Overall: fun atmosphere, solid burgers, and beautiful pastries, but service needs some love. read more

Honestly, the worst service I've had in a long time. My friend and I came here after we got off our cruise and wanted a place to grab breakfast before our flight home. There was only one other table than us and 3 wait staff working. They dropped us at our table, gave us water and grabbed our order, then forgot we existed. Never refilled our waters, never refilled our coffee, and honestly forgot about us. My friend had to walk up to the bar to get her coffee refilled. Then the food came and I ordered an acai bowl and she ordered an American breakfast with over easy eggs. The eggs came fully cooked and ended up being inedible and they never gave me a spoon, so I ended up having to try to eat my acai bowl with a fork. THEN, they charged an automatic 18% tip and purposefully hid the part of the check that showed it did that in order to get to get us to tip them more. There is literally no reason any of this should have happened with so many wait staff working and only 2 other people in the restaurant. Would never recommend anyone to this restaurant. read more

This is the perfect café inside the mall to have a quick bite or even a meeting with friends or Work. It can be a little noisy inside. They have great options for juices and lattes. I decided to go with the avocado salad, which was literally delicious and I wanted to eat more of it. As well as their green juice which is already premade. It was nice to see that they had gluten-free options for the toast. The service was great and the manager and waitress were very accommodating. We wanted to sit outside but there were no tables and the inside was a bit loud so they turned down the music on our side of the restaurant. The cappuccino was so tasty I did not add any sugar to it. My husband and I both ordered the Denver omelette without cheese. It was filling, not greasy, and delicious. The roasted potatoes were also not greasy and crispy. We found the portions to be just right. Not a crazy amount of potatoes. The slice of sourdough bread that came with my meal was light and crispy on the edges. My husband had the gluten free bread and he also enjoyed it. The menu does have Vegan and Gluten free options marked. It's also important to note that the bill does come with an 18% tip included. Our waiter was very attentive, so we added an additional tip.
