This is a mother and son family business and I ABSOLUTELY love this place. It's small Cafe, located near the courthouse in downtown, Miami. I ordered the pan con bistec (which was well seasoned) with tomato, lettuce and potatoes sticks..ugh so good! It was big enough to shared with my coworker, I was actually full with my half. The service here has always been top notch, very attentive and just genuinely nice people. Overall, the food is amazing, and cooked from scratch (everything is good). I definitely recommend checking them if you're in the area, I promise you won't be disappointed and the prices are reasonable .

Pan Con Bistec Sandwich Lunch Tostones style!

I wanted something different than your typical sandwich for lunch and I decided to try this place. It's a hop skip and a jump away from my job and that makes this place almost dangerous because I'll keep coming back to sure! I got the "pan" con bistec but on tostones. HO-LY MO-LY. I ate every last crumb, lol. So yummy! I think some picante would've given it the perfect 10 but it was still great. The amount of steak they give you was plentiful, and cooked to order. The put tomato, lettuce and papitas (shoestring potato chips) on it. The prices are reasonable, the orders placed were made in 15 or less and the server , Alex, assisting me was kind and patient while I was placing my order. I'll def be back soon!

A great place to go right after jury duty. I ordered a croissant bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich which was phenomenal. Also, grabbed a freshly made orange juice.

This is an amazing breakfast cafe located in downtown Miami near the courthouses. I frequent this cafe almost every morning if not for a delicious sausage, egg and cheese croissant, definitely for a well prepared coloda to start my day! I highly recommend giving Atlantis cafe a visit! I promise you won't regret it!

    Midnight Sandwich Lunch

QUICKIE REVIEW Great Cubano sandwiches found here. FOOD This is what I tried:  -midnight and chicken club sandwich   Sandwich was simple (as it should be) and great tasting.   By no means were they stingy with meat and in fact, I had to take half on the flight on with me as I traveled back.   Which leads me to say, I had it on my flight as well and it taste great still, even at room temperature (I did catch a few looks of jealousy). PARKING Street parking if you can find it. SERVICE Order at counter, they will drop it off to you. PRICE Less than $15. TIPS/OTHER THOUGHTS It's always the hole in the wall places that are gems.

    Food is too inexpensive!

My daughter and I have been traveling thru' coastal cities of Florida for over a week. We stopped in at Atlantis Cafe based on the 5-Star rating on Yelp. I am so glad we did! My daughter who is a small and picky eater finished all her food and raved about it. This is by far the best meal we've had on our trip. Two bites into my meal, I could tell the food is made fresh with pride. We had the Home Potatoes Special with an espresso and the Sweet Plantain Omelette. All that for $13.05 with tax included. That is a steal considering an hour parking in the lot across the street cost us $18! I am a restaurant owner in Wisconsin and I know food and labor costs well. I would have gladly paid another $3 for our meals. The owner, Alex, and his staff were very friendly. And that made our dining experience all the more wonderful.

The service was terrific. Staff was so friendly and warm. As for the food ... I ordered incorrectly. The sandwich was very tasty. So was the coffee. The hot chocolate was definitely hot chocolate. The mulligan for me was the plate of fries covered in bacon and cheese and egg. It should have been a home run, but it was not. Just, no. But it came with this light and fluffy bread ... more please. I might come back if ever visiting Miami, but would stick to the sandwiches. Waiting time for a table might take a little longer than expected. We sat at the counter as the number of actual tables is limited. But turnover is pretty quick, and the counter lends to just more delightful interaction with the excellent staff. No complaints there.

    Colada con Oat Milk

Wow! The exact definition of a perfect hole in the wall spot for cuban coffee and food. They were even cater to the nondairy needs, hence the oat milk in the colada :) I highly recommend checking this cafe out when in Miami.

Neat little place near the courthouse that would be near impossible for tourists to find without Yelp. Super nice bi-lingual staff and an easy to access menu, with or without pictures. They love bacon here, so it makes many appearances. My wife went with a standard of over easy eggs, bacon, and wheat toast. The wheat toast wasn't the crunchy tear the the inside of your mouth tasteless diner toast in California. The bread was made with love locally. I got a mémorable sandwich of ham croquettes with ham slices and swiss cheese, topped with crunchy potato sticks on cuban bread- killer! We both had coffee con leche- get the dark. Smooth and flavorful without the bitterness- get more to go for after breakfast.

I got the classic Cuban sandwich with rice, beans, and plantains. For $8, this was incredibly good, just very salty! I definitely recommend this place

The standout of the entire meal was the tres leches French toast an absolute 10/10. It was rich, perfectly sweet, and honestly one of the best brunch items I've had. The seasonal fruit platter was also a 10/10 so fresh and beautifully presented with honeydew, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, and a side of blueberry yogurt that tied everything together perfectly. The breakfast burrito, however, was more of a 5/10 very basic and didn't stand out compared to the other dishes we tried. Overall, the experience was still enjoyable, especially because of the incredible French toast and fresh fruit platter. I'd definitely come back for those alone, but I'd probably explore different savory options next time.

We were greeted and upon being seated, ordered some wine, wayuu burger and chicken Parmesan Both plates served quick, nicely presented and tasty. Note to customers: Parking is hard on the Brickell area, your best bet is by using the underneath garage, there is no validation parking (only a few business still offering on this shopping mall), expect to pay $6 hr. But the price is convenient because is easy parking, and the escalator is very close to get to your vehicle. Overall, it worth the visit. Good choice!

The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. I'll be dreaming of that sandwich til my next visit!

I ordered the mahi mahi tacos, and while they tasted ok, the portion size felt pretty small for the price. Overall, it came across as a bit overpriced for what you get. The service style is more casual and self-directed. You order and pay at the register, get a number, and then find your own seat while they bring the food out to you. Water is self-serve, and once you're done with your meal, you just head out. There's minimal interaction with staff, which might appeal to people who prefer a more low-key, independent dining experience or want a place to sit and work without being interrupted. That said, the service did not feel very friendly or welcoming. And personally, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.
