Seating here is limited (and only two seater tables plus a few bar seats) but we were lucky to grab table that had opened up. I got the Croqueta Preparada and my husband got the Pan con Bistec. Both were really good! Though I enjoyed mine more than my husband's and vice versa ;) We both also got coffee and they were sooo good! Like almost wanted to get another before leaving.. Had this place bookmarked for a while and glad I got to try it when I was visiting Florida. My first Cubano! I ordered the Croquettas, El Cubano, Timba - guava milkshake, and Caramel iced latte. The Croquettas were nice and crispy. So delish. El Cubano was perfectly grilled and had great flavors. I shared half a sandwich with my parents. Timba was for my mom. She said it was ok. I liked my caramel iced latte and they made it sweet for me. Service could be better. They just stare at you lol. Could at least smile more. They were awarded a lot of recognition for their food but I do think they need to be more humble about it. Might be a language barrier because we kept asking a straw and they either forgot and needed to be reminded again. Ambiance is such a vibe. This place is kinda small but we were able to snag a seat at the bar and it was nice to see them preparing the sandwiches. The sauce that comes with it was a great addition! I was very excited to try this place because I grew up eating tortas and drinking licuados. This location gets very busy and the line was all the way outside. While you are waiting, they provide you a menu to look at while you are waiting. You can sit in the front and watch how the drinks or sandwiches are made which is cool. Or you can sit on the side. Seating is minimal so once you know what you want, grab a seat while you can if you are there with someone would be my tip or you will end up eating outside where there is no seats. I noticed they don't like anyone by the door because that's where you order as well. They don't want that area to be crowded. While you wait in line, the line does go by pretty fast so you aren't waiting too long to order. The banana batido was so good. I almost drank it all before my food came. I grew up drinking banana licuados so it tasted like home. The Miami Vice was so good. When it came out, it wasn't so hot but the right temp. When you bite into the sandwich, the way the mayo melts in your mouth. I'm not much of a Swiss cheese girly but the way all the ingredients came together was lovely. Hands down the BEST CUBANO I had in Miami (and I had quite a few)! TikTok put me on to this place, and so we made it out to Little Havana specifically to try these sandwiches -- and it was totally worth all the effort to leave South Beach for the afternoon. Boy oh boy did this place make me sadder than sad. I was in Miami for only 4 hours, from getting off a cruise ship to boarding a plane home, and I had chosen this spot, and only this spot, for an authentic Cuban sandwich. We even took a cab from the port to get there. We arrived just after 11 a.m. when they open, hoping to avoid the long lines people talk about. We stood behind a few people who were all talking to the cashier and then leaving. I was confused, but soon understood why. They had only one sandwich (Pan con Lechon) available for the next hour or more. What were we supposed to do? We ordered the only sandwich available, plus some plantain fries and an order of the ham croquettes. The croquettes were yummy. The fries were all broken little end pieces, but the dipping sauces were great. While we were waiting for the sandwich, we noticed a man at the counter receive two sandwiches. He started eating one. I was not paying close attention, but about five minutes later he called a waitress over. She took the 2nd sandwich (was it untouched??) from in front of him and brought it directly to our table. I do not like confrontation, especially with service staff, but I said, "That sandwich was with that guy for a bit. Has he touched it? What was the issue?" They brushed it off, pretended not to understand, and left the sandwich with us. I kept asking the same question, Then someone else came and said it was fine without explanation We ended up eating it and it was fine, but what restaurant takes food from someone else's table and serves it to another customer after 5 minutes? The service was so so...very chaotic restaurant that the owners should have someone who stands outside most of the time to tell people which line is takeout only and which is to dine in. I got to Sanguich around noon and there was a huge line to place an order. There was an equally long line to be seated for dine in. Because we thought the order line would move faster my group stood in that line. It took us about half an hour to get to the front and after placing our order we were told it would take another 30 minutes to get our sandwiches. The cashier said that we would get a text when our sandwiches were ready. We roamed around for about 40 minutes in the area and eventually walked back because we were very hungry even though we didn't get a text. There was no clear area to go for pickups and the cashier was moving very slowly to clear customers. After waiting frustratingly for another 15 minutes we got to the cashier who told us that our order had been finished and handed it to us. I got the Cubano and it was quite good despite having clearly sat there for a while. My favorite sandwich was definitely the pan con lechon though. The meat was very juicy and flavorful. I wish we got our sandwiches fresh because I'm sure it would've tasted differently. In the future I'll probably skip going to this location and place an order online before going to the store. read more
