This is a small sandwich shop. I want to emphasize the small. Because of the size and the popularity, there is often a line to get in. It's worth it to wait in this line. They keep it moving fast, so typically the line moves right along. Every time I come here, I tell myself I am going to try something new, but I don't because the pan con bistec is always perfection. The steak is thinly sliced, so the sandwich has great texture. It has fontina cheese, which is definitely unique for a steak sandwich in Little Havana. The star, though, is the mojo rojo they put on it. It gives this sandwich an absolute twist you won't find anywhere else. So trust me when I say, wait in the line!
Stopping at TikTok's three most iconic Cubano sandwich shops in Miami. This was our first stop and so far it is five stars still have the other two to go but this one so far is definitely one of the best Cuban sandwiches. I've had that sauce they put with it is fire. We got the Cubano and the media Noche sandwich. I also had the Cubano iced coffee, which was amazing, but I needed extra extra caramel too sweeten it up to my liking will definitely be back. My next visit to Miami service is fast and has a very chic ambience.
Sanguich really does have a place in my heart. Any time I find myself in the area, gotta make it a point to stop by. I believe everyone else has heard the memo though as the line easily finds itself out the door and into the parking lot. Between the Cubano and cafecito you'll certainly be leaving with a smile on your face. They have online ordering if you know you're on your way or can place a to go order at the walk up window. 10/10 will try to stop by every time.

The restaurant is a classic touristy hole in the wall. You stand outside until ready to order, be prepared to wait 30+ mins. I ordered 2 sandwiches, cuban fries, and chicharrones to split with a friend. The cubano (5/5) and pan con bistec (5/5) were absolutely excellent. Both had a perfect ratio of meat and sauce. But what really set it apart was the crispy crusted bread. Spectacular! The chicharrones (4/5) were a steal - MASSIVE portion for like $5. Insane deal, and delicious. The cuban nachos (4.5/5) had their amazing sauce and garlic confit lechon on it. Delicious and would order both again. Overall, this is a tourist spot but one I don't think can be missed.
BEST CUBAN IN MIAMI! A statement I can live by being a local. It's not your classic Cuban but I appreciate the additions to the sandwich itself! Line can get pretty backed up but if you go right when they open it should be a breeze! Their cilantro sauce is BOMB and would complement their tostone fries but they no longer carry those on the menu ! Staff is always pleasant and the ambiance fits right into a miami sandwich shop! I've heard great things about their coffee and shakes and can't wait to try!
The sandwiches here are amazing. We tried the classic Cubano which is a staple and really good. The other sandwich we got, I thought was even better than the classic, was the Pan con Bistec. I would recommend both! The croquettes are very tasty too. This location does have a small parking lot as well as paid street parking. Seats inside are limited though.
Sanguich in Little Havana was clearly a popular place, and I really enjoyed the croquettes during my visit. I was not exceedingly hungry, but my husband enjoyed his sandwich. I liked the vibe and fast service. There is not a slew of seating, but it's worth a stop for some good eats.
Had this place bookmarked for a while and glad I got to try it when I was visiting Florida. My first Cubano! I ordered the Croquettas, El Cubano, Timba - guava milkshake, and Caramel iced latte. The Croquettas were nice and crispy. So delish. El Cubano was perfectly grilled and had great flavors. I shared half a sandwich with my parents. Timba was for my mom. She said it was ok. I liked my caramel iced latte and they made it sweet for me. Service could be better. They just stare at you lol. Could at least smile more. They were awarded a lot of recognition for their food but I do think they need to be more humble about it. Might be a language barrier because we kept asking a straw and they either forgot and needed to be reminded again. Ambiance is such a vibe. This place is kinda small but we were able to snag a seat at the bar and it was nice to see them preparing the sandwiches. The sauce that comes with it was a great addition! All in all, this place was worth going.
The chicharrones were the big hit. We've had them all over Mexico and plenty of times in San Diego. These here were amazing. They were brought to our table still crackling! Delicious. Then we had 2 sandwiches. The Cubano seemed to be the favorite with my family, I preferred the bistec. Though honestly you can't go wrong with either. FYI, one Sando is really 2 Sandos. They are not greedy with the portions. Solid 4 stars because the space is really small and the tables only seat 2. Not the biggest deal, but that's all that is keeping them from being a 5 star.
Came here for an early lunch and was able to get a seat right away at the bar. It was fun to watch the sandwiches being made. I got the Cubano and thought it was tasty, especially with the pickles.
Small, fast and tasty! The process to get in is line up outside and they call you in- if you're dining inside or you can order from the window to go. Upon entering you order and pay at the register and then you will be taken to a table. Our sandwiches were all super tasty, fresh and hot off the press. I will say these are not your typical Cuban sandwiches. They have an elevated touch and taste to them. Not traditional but really good, Definitely make it your business to order some croquettes- they are soooo delicious and definitely dip them in the cilantro/garlic sauce it comes with.

Da Wahine had this place bookmarked, so we were going to stop by and see what Sanguich was all about. As of this review, they have 5 locations. This one was closest to us. this location is small, almost a hole in the wall... not a lot of seating inside. I would NOT recommend this place for big groups, it's a struggle for 4 people to eat at a table. and this place gets busy. Parking is just as challenging, with a tiny parking lot. The good news is the staff is very friendly. Try and sit at the bar if you get a chance, you can see your food being prepped right in front of you. Organized Chaos! The sandwiches do take a few minutes to make. 10-15 depending on how busy they are. Plenty of orders are to go as well. Legit Cuban sandwiches. My daughter who rarely likes any sandwiches finished hers. We ordered the Cubano, chicharrones, and a coffee. Small and limited seating. But very authentic food. Would definitely recommend. Can be a wait. But it's all about the timing.

You must order the Cuban nachos!! The bread is perfect on all the "sanguiches" but the lechon is our favorite. We also had con bistec and croquetas cubano... also good. The staff was super nice and friendly. The place on 8 Street is not big. It has bar seats and 2-top tables. There were 5 of us and we sat on 2 tables and it was fine. There is also a window you can order at if you want to go or eat in your car. I give them a Big thumbs up and I highly recommended you try them! read more
Amazing find! Sanguich is award-winning for all the right reasons, and well worth a visit in Little Havana. There's a window for to-go orders, or if you choose to dine in you'll be asked to order at the counter before anyone in the party takes a seat. It's busy and the kitchen is fun to watch while you're waiting (not long!) for your order to be ready. The sandwich is absolutely perfect. The team brushes it with butter before it goes into the press, and it comes out piping hot, melty and delicious. It's worth ordering the croquettes for a snack while you're waiting - they're perfect, creamy and well seasoned. We enjoyed the people-watching and following along with the kitchen action from seats at the bar. Well worth a visit! read more

The chicharrones were the big hit. We've had them all over Mexico and plenty of times in San Diego. These here were amazing. They were brought to our table still crackling! Delicious. I saw this place has a Michelin gourmand bib award among others so I knew it had to be good! This would be my second time ever having a Cuban sandwich and the first one was okay and I knew this place had to be better and it was! Warm, pressed, cheesy and full of protein! Delicious and I see why it's so good. Their mango smoothie was also very tasty and creamy. Love the aioli that it came with too. Very cramped and busy and I see why it's a staple. Will be back to try the Miami or something else hehe read more
I am not from Miami, so maybe not qualified to say this is the best Cubano in the city, but it was memorable! The bread crispy and flavorful, meat fresh and tasty (some cubanos I feel have pork that is underwhelming), with a perfect ratio of mustard and pickle. The fries weren't anything special the the sandwich phenomenal for a great price! When I am back in the city, can't wait to go back! read more

I was very excited to try this place because I grew up eating tortas and drinking licuados. This location gets very busy and the line was all the way outside. While you are waiting, they provide you a menu to look at while you are waiting. You can sit in the front and watch how the drinks or sandwiches are made which is cool. Or you can sit on the side. Seating is minimal so once you know what you want, grab a seat while you can if you are there with someone would be my tip or you will end up eating outside where there is no seats. I noticed they don't like anyone by the door because that's where you order as well. They don't want that area to be crowded. While you wait in line, the line does go by pretty fast so you aren't waiting too long to order. The banana batido was so good. I almost drank it all before my food came. I grew up drinking banana licuados so it tasted like home. The Miami Vice was so good. When it came out, it wasn't so hot but the right temp. When you bite into the sandwich, the way the mayo melts in your mouth. I'm not much of a Swiss cheese girly but the way all the ingredients came together was lovely. This is such a great comfort meal that I would definitely come back for. I was very excited to try their Cuban sandwich. read more

Sanguich de Miami in Little Havana is pretty small. Not ideal for a large group. Just wanted a snack before dinner; ordered at the window. Long wait for the food. Overall my top faves were the croquettas & Pan con bistec. Super delicious! The Miami sandwich was alright. Definitely will order the Cubano next time when I'm in Miami again! read more
Hands down the BEST CUBANO I had in Miami (and I had quite a few)! TikTok put me on to this place, and so we made it out to Little Havana specifically to try these sandwiches -- and it was totally worth all the effort to leave South Beach for the afternoon. I mean WOW! The bread was perfectly soft inside yet buttery and crunchy on the outside, the ingredients all packed with flavor and high quality. I saved half my Cubano for a late night snack, and it was just as good twelve hours later, straight out the hotel fridge. Be prepared for a line and a wait (it was about 30 minutes of standing outside before our sandwiches were ready). Parking can get tight, and indoor seating is limited. Still, I didn't mind opting for the sandwiches to-go and walking up the road to Domino Park and the Bay of Pigs memorial before chowing down. read more

Be prepared to wait if you want to eat inside. Limited to no parking. Be ready for street parking. Very small place with probably nine two tops and about ten counter seats. The staff are friendly. We ordered HAM CROQUETTES 5/5, CHICHARRONES 5/5, and CUBANO 4/5. The Cubano disappointed a bit because it was dry. Luckily, it was served with a dressing that tasted like Italian that made a huge difference. I just wish there had been more. read more
Boy oh boy did this place make me sadder than sad. I was in Miami for only 4 hours, from getting off a cruise ship to boarding a plane home, and I had chosen this spot, and only this spot, for an authentic Cuban sandwich. We even took a cab from the port to get there. We arrived just after 11 a.m. when they open, hoping to avoid the long lines people talk about. We stood behind a few people who were all talking to the cashier and then leaving. I was confused, but soon understood why. They had only one sandwich (Pan con Lechon) available for the next hour or more. What were we supposed to do? We ordered the only sandwich available, plus some plantain fries and an order of the ham croquettes. The croquettes were yummy. The fries were all broken little end pieces, but the dipping sauces were great. While we were waiting for the sandwich, we noticed a man at the counter receive two sandwiches. He started eating one. I was not paying close attention, but about five minutes later he called a waitress over. She took the 2nd sandwich (was it untouched??) from in front of him and brought it directly to our table. I do not like confrontation, especially with service staff, but I said, "That sandwich was with that guy for a bit. Has he touched it? What was the issue?" They brushed it off, pretended not to understand, and left the sandwich with us. I kept asking the same question, Then someone else came and said it was fine without explanation We ended up eating it and it was fine, but what restaurant takes food from someone else's table and serves it to another customer after 5 minutes? It was such an anticlimactic and disappointing end to what had been a great vacation. I wish we had left the moment they said they were out of Cuban sandwiches and found another place. Service left a little something to be desired by bringing over our sandwiches but saying they weren't ours and almost taking them back and not offering water cups. BUT the view and being by the water was worth overlooking the weak service. We did the media noche and pan con lechon and both were fabulous. My son didn't appreciate the pickle taste though of the latter, lol. The Cuban nachos may have been my favorite item because they were so surprisingly good. The croquetas were fine but not worth the caloric justification, so I don't think I'd recommend read more
Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Hands down. So freakin delicious and juicy. You order at the counter first and then take a seat. The restaurant is is narrow with two seater tables along the wall and a bar with counter seating. Great sweet potato fries too. So good I came here twice during the weekend trip. read more
Glad was able to get the Miami experience and try an original Cuban sandwich! It was really delicious and filling, enjoyed the sauce that came with it, like a garlic aioli. Overall really great flavor and balance with the ham, pork & pickles, bread is on point! Espresso was nice and strong but the ice coffee was more milk and caramel, tasted more like frappe. You have to order beforehand and then find a seat, everything came out pretty quick & staff were great! read more
Cubano was really good. Bread was perfect toasted. Pan con lechon was also really good. It had a slight sweetness to it and I think I liked it a little more than the Cubano. Mamey (sapote) drink was a thick smoothie. I liked it although wouldn't mind trying something else next time. It's a small restaurant so seating could be hard. Thankfully I got there before the lunchtime rush and was able to grab bar seating. Loved the decor, even the restroom was nice. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely stop by and try other items on their menu. read more
Definitely lots of people who like this place. Lots of tourist! Special today is banana shake my son had a mango and banana one recommended by a local he had 2 of the same shake. The service was so so...very chaotic restaurant that the owners should have someone who stands outside most of the time to tell people which line is takeout only and which is to dine in. Lots of confusion for everyone. My suggestion maybe a rope or Sign if your are not going to have someone outside to direct the traffic. For the people who want to dine in you are only allowed to go inside when the lady inside allows you if not wait outside of the door. The sandwiches definitely good since I used to live in Miami and ate plenty of Cuban sandwiches. Nice touch to the bread but reminds me of a toasted panini. The croquettes were ok. I visited Miami for a day and wanted to try my very first Cuban sandwich from Sanguich. I got there around 1 pm and there was a line for those that wanted to eat inside. I ordered from the window to-go. The lady was really nice and I waited about 15-20 minutes for my order. I got the Cubano and it was amazing. I also ordered a side of chicharones and they were so crunchy and yummy. The best I've had. My daughter got the Pan con Bistec and she thought it was okay, but absolutely loved her Batido de Mamey. If I'm in Miami or Florida again, I will definitely look for a Sanguich location. PS - yes, the parking lot is small so spaces are limited plus there's chickens and chicks running around and you don't want to run over them. read more
Amazing! The space itself is beautiful. The decor is simple but elegant. The staff is super friendly and menu is easy. Good food and quick. We tired the cubano, ropa sucia and the Miami. Sandwiches were full of flavor, nice portions and just down right delicious. The coffee was warm and cozy. Even the bathroom wallpaper is beautiful. I'll definitely come back. read more
