After seeing this restaurant pop up on all the must eat lists over the years I can't believe it's taken me so long to visit! We came on a Friday to celebrate a birthday and were seated in the outdoor patio. From the outside you would never even know this little oasis existed! If you have a choice definitely choose the patio! It's such a nice vibe with string lights and graffiti art. We decided to split the goat cheese croquettes and vaca frita tostones as apps. I'm a goat cheese girl so these were right up my alley and the guava sauce was delicious. The vaca frita tostones were so savory and with a really generous portion of vaca frita. For dinner I ordered the mahi which was absolutely delicious. The came with a coconut sauce that was so good and paired perfectly with the rice and salad. We also ordered the Masa de Puerco Chino with Shrimp. This dish was soooo good! It had it all, a little salty from the pork and sweetness from the sauce and shrimp. We also ordered a flan which was the perfect ending. For drinks we got mojitos and margaritas and all were so well made. And our server was awesome. He gave us great recommendations and was so attentive to us. We had such a great time! Definitely going to be coming back.

Update... came back years later and it's even better! Drinks are amazing! The coconut mojito is super delicious and just like those I had in Puerto Rico! Also sampled the croquetas ... the chorizo croquets is super tasty and the cheese is delicious. Very happy with service. And the outdoor garden is fantastic for large groups and families.

Situated in Little Havana, Doce Provisions sits hidden next to a barber shop. Once inside, you find yourself welcomed by a lively staff. We had the option to sit inside or out back. The food was phenomenal. Made to perfection, it is some of the best Cuban food I've ever had. The empanadas are out of this world, the authentic Cuban beer was perfect to go with our food choices. And, the arroz imperial (imperial rice), is probably the best I've ever had. The tres leches was so good, I forgot to take a pic of it. Well worth the visit and definitely well worth a return trip. Dove provisions is a hidden gem.

The atmosphere is very inviting. There is both indoor and outdoor dining with wait staff who are very professional and friendly. The food is AMAZING! Everything using is cooked to perfection and the layers of flavors build upon each other. Doce P provides a totally joyful dining experience.

Very very delicious spot! Our waiter new the menu back and forth and gave us all his recommendations, which were spot on Food: 1. Burrata toast- A nice slab of toast with Mango Jam, Baby Tomato, and Lime Vinaigrette that paired very nicely with the cheese 2.Fresh Florida Mahi- a delicious piece of fish paired with Coconut Aji Cream, Mint, Sweet Peppers, Jasmine Rice and fried maduros on the bottom. The rice soaked up all of the sauce! Chefs kiss 3. Masa de Puerco Chino- crispy pork with pineapple confit, maduros, and fried rice. Absolutely delicious Would absolutely return to try out the rest of the menu

My friend made a reservation for a birthday. We sat in the back patio which was adorable with twinkle lights and trees and music. We ordered some goat cheese croquetas for the table and the cuban mojito pitcher to share. Both were amazing and we got another pitcher even. My friend loves the mahi there and was super excited to get it. They were out of truffle so couldnt do the mac or fries. I got the arroz imperial cubano with avocado, which was unreal! Amazing flavor and filling! The chicken and waffles was lacking something and not as good as was recommended. The mahi didnt disappoint. We were able to bring our own cake which they brought out with the candles we provided. Overall a small menu but the food and drinks were great! I will definitely bring people visiting me here. Can't wait to eat my leftovers!

This might be my new favorite spot in Miami !!! Cannot express how lovely this dining experience was from start to finish. Walked in on a Friday night without a reservation and was seated almost immediately. We had Ruben take care of us and he was so attentive with food recommendations and great service. I was shocked at how quickly all of the food came out, and the quality was EXCELLENT. Super creative Cuban cuisine and there was not a single dish I wouldn't order again. My favorites if I had to pick would be the Vaca Frita Tostones & Birria Quesatacos. Doce has both outdoor patio and indoor dining space, and I loved the intimate vibe. Will DEFINITELY be returning and bringing anyone here to visit Miami!

Found to this place on a whim when the place we were planning on eating at was closed. We got there right before they closed for the break between lunch and dinner and they were happy to seat a party of 5. The group ordered an app, 2 meat platters, the rice, the ropa vieja and chicken and waffles. The app came quickly, but we waited a bit for the rest of the food. We never got one of our meat platters, and ended up just taking it to go... turns out we ordered more than enough food for 5 people. Truly, all the food was delicious. The meat was tender, everything was tasty and fresh, but the cheesey, chicken rice in a skillet was everyone's favorite. The leftovers were equally as delicious. This place is a really great find, and off the beaten (and crazy) path of Calle Ocho, so skip all those insane lines and enjoy a yummy, Cuban meal here instead.

Had lunch at Doce yesterday and it was really good! Small un assuming with friendly servers and yummy food! We shared and it worked out great! Po' boy shrimp tacos were delicious, And the chicken arroz imperial was super yummy- and award winning chorizo croquettes -were So so. Not bad but not to my personal taste. I wish we had ordered the cheese type instead. Overall, high marks, easy parking, good food and service.

My fave spot in the neighborhood, staff is always friendly and food always hits!! Sitting in their back terrace is the way to go, so cozy and relaxing. Really missing their birria tacos!! Till this day they were the best I had ever had!

Delicious restaurant off the tourist path in Miami. Inside is small but the back garden is large and relaxing. The food is innovative but has the classic Cuban flavors you want from Little Havana. Service was slow but food came out fast. Waiters are super nice and helpful with recommendations though!

Gorgeous hidden patio area makes outdoor dining a breeze. Loved the ambiance and the outdoor mural. The food was super rich- the chorizo croquettes were salty and heavy, I wish they came with more sauce to cut through and lighten the bite. But really interesting flavor. My partner had a chicken rice (arroz imperial) dish that was flavorful but I wish it was slightly more aesthetic than just a blob of cheese on top. The passion fruit mojito was the perfect drink super light and refreshing! Space was awesome, food was decent but overpriced for what it was which is standard meats, rice, cheese, chicken. Think we spent a little over $70 on a light dinner.

    Coconut Lime Daiquiri

Holy crap! This is some food worth crying over!! Goat cheese croquettes, and Abuelas ropa vieja, are absolutely fabulous!! The coconut lime daiquiri is next level delicious!! If I lived in Miami I'd be here weekly. Phenomenal! I can't say enough good things!!! Perhaps they would consider opening a location in Dallas Texas?!?!?! Oh and, all the beautiful Cuban waiters are a MASSIVE PLUS!!

Five of us ordered: 5 Cafecitos 1 Pan con Lechon 3 Pan con Bistec 1 Coladita 1 Timba Came out to $107.45 including a $10 tip. We already had a memorable Cubano sandwich so we explored other options. The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. And when I say offering, the sales tactics are reminiscent of timeshare sales zombies standing in an idle state until you mistakenly stop for a BEAT and then it's game on for them. Luckily at Sanguich, they have a few dedicated seats and tables for themselves and they'll come drop your order for you. A little bit of a scavenger hunt to find it, but well worth the adventure. The views out on the water are a bonus too.

Couldn't get enough of how good the bread was and everything just blended together so well. This location is amongst many, many restaurants but Sanguich still gets a line out the door. They do have a small patio in front of the storefront for you to enjoy the meals. The service was a bit slow, but totally understandable as they take their time crafting the sandwiches. We ordered the El Cubano [$14.99] which is their most basic sandwich. The taste was definitely not basic, though! Loved every juicy, crunchy bite of that sandwich. It's kind of shareable, but I could have easily scarfed down both if I was hungry enough. We also got the Boniato Fries [$5.25] which are sweet potato fries but better, and lighter. I think they use "white" sweet potato, according to Google. Whatever it is was good! Also tried their Croquettas [$4.50] which came w/2. Super tasty and satisfying! Everything we had was spot-on! Sanguich needs to be on everyone's "To-Do" list when visiting Miami.

We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.

We were happily greeted when we arrived and told we could sit wherever we liked. There are plenty of tables outside and inside, and I hear it gets busy. Thank goodness it was a Monday early afternoon. We grabbed a nice table outside among a bunch of Cuban neon signs and pictures. At the time we came, we could choose between breakfast and lunch. I decided to get the Cuban breakfast with a guava smoothie. The platter was a 5 out of 5 for me. I loved the pork belly, the eggs, the potatoes, and the salad! And the smoothie was refreshing, though I wish there was an option to mix the flavors. Do you know how good a mango guava smoothie would have been?! My girlfriend got the same thing that I did, but they completely forgot it. She didn't receive hers until 15 minutes later... And though it seems like a simple request, they would not honor her request to swap out the potatoes for toast. They offered a free dessert which was nice due to the error, but we agreed we've had way better tres leches cake, haha. That incident aside, the restaurant was very nice. I hear they have live salsa on some nights and I know It gets busy. I would love to check that out sometime!
