I went with a large party and we split some of the ceviche appetizers as well as getting entrees. I got the salmón de mama with a side of mashed potatoes. For a drink I had a tropical Sangria. The food tasted very yummy and tasted fresh as well! There isn't a glaze on the salmon so do not expect there to be a very unique flavor. It was simple but good. I took my time with each bite to savor it. The mashed potatoes are thinner than typical mashed potatoes but are very good! The sangria was strong lol! Very yummy though as well. If you like a fruity drink I would recommend that one. The service was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner. The lighting is perfect for a nice date night! Low light but not too dim where it's hard to see. Great vibes here! I am updating my review after payment from 5 to 4 stars only because they charge for the water that they bring out but that was not at all mentioned to us. I recently visited CVI.CHE 105 and had mehhhh feelings about this place. On the positive side, the food was excellent. The fish tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with citrus and spice. The portions were small, but every dish that came to the table was well-presented so flavorful and packed with great flavor, (I don't know anything about Peru so i guess it tasted Peruvian..lol.) The atmosphere was lively, the dining area was beautifully designed and it's easy to see why they were recommended and popular. Unfortunately, there was one issue that significantly impacted my thoughts while sitting at the bar. I observed the bartender using the same pair of gloves to handle cash, operate the payment terminal, prepare drinks, and serve food without changing gloves. As someone who pays attention to food safety and sanitation, especially when I can see it ,this was concerning to watch and took away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Fortunately he only made me one drink and took my payment other than that he had no real impact on my eating or drinking experience I just thought it was not very clean in that he was used to doing this daily. The food itself deserves high marks, and I could see nothing that was going on in the kitchen so I can only guess they're doing everything correct but improper hygiene practices behind the bar are just as important as in the kitchen. I hope management addresses this because the restaurant was pretty cool and I was planning on visiting later that night. If not for that experience, I would have rated it at least four stars for the flavor and the service and taken away one star for the portion size but I understand it's Miami and you get an experience and a location not necessarily what you pay for. For now, I'm giving it 3 stars based on the excellent food but disappointing attention to sanitation. read more

I must go whenever you visit Miami. This is my second time going to this place and specifically dislocation because they have multiple locations. Not only the staff is very friendly and took their time to explain to me their food and specialty, but all of the food that I ordered came out pretty fast. They have a very cool vibe and I really really love Peruvian ceviche. Don't get overwhelmed with them menu because they are all so good and worth it. The downside is the challenge finding a parking because this location is located at one of the most crowded area. I tried four ceviche variations sampler, and they are all divine. Wow. Amazing place! Just reaffirmed my love for Peruvian food. We went as a group of 8 without reservation on a Friday night. It was crowded but still somehow we didn't have to wait long for a table. The decors was beautiful. The food as you can see from the pictures were well presented and they were so yummy. The drinks were beautifully made and tasty. Definitely worthy of instagram. And the staff probably has plenty experience there too. When we asked for group photos, the waitress and the manager proceeded to use the table lamps as lighting, we practically had a photo shoot. I came here with a large group so we ordered several dishes to share. This place is known for their ceviche, but their hotate truffle sushi roll was so amazing I have to shout it out twice. The scallop in the roll melted like butter in the mouth and was so rich and flavorful. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I would travel to this restaurant for that dish alone. Of course, all the other food was fantastic. My other favorite was the hamachi tiradito, which was thinly sliced hamachi with onion mix, sprouts, and acevichada sauce. Overall, the freshness, bright flavors, and mix of textures throughout the entire meal will be on my mind for a long time. My friend and I spent a nice Saturday night here at CVI.CHE 105. The staff was able to get us inside without a problem despite us not having a reservation. We decided to share both the Lomo Saltado & Ají de Gallina dishes. Both tasted great and flavorful despite there being a slight lack of meat for the former dish. The meal was accompanied by fried plantain chips and kerneled corn as an aperitivo. The restaurant has impeccable lighting and the music was on point with a DJ that did one of the best jobs ever. A note I would add would be to better screen customers as some clientele came in with tank tops, socks with sandals, and other miscellaneous attire that was questionable for the kind of atmosphere this establishment excudes. They also do a great job accommodating large parties, which makes it an easy choice when you're going with a big group. The service is always great and the drinks are really good, my favorite is the Chicha Morada Pisco Sour. Their ceviche is super fresh and flavorful. The last time we were here, we split the tetra de ceviches, which was perfect for a big group and every option was really good. I started by asking her which ceviche in the sampler is the rocoto pepper since the names don't match and she rudely pointed to 4 and condescendingly said this has rocoto, this has rocoto, this has it. Then I rephrased and asked her to describe which ceviche were in the sampler, and said it says rocoto pepper, yellow pepper and she rudely said I told you this could be rocoto, this could be rocoto. So I told her to bring her manager since she couldn't clarify: her manager immediately understood and pointed out which were in the sampler. This was not a language issue the waitress spoke perfect English: she was rude and condescending. The ceviches and octopus were delicious but our entire meal including drinks were done in 40 minutes.
