Not a lot of people know about Peruvian Sandwiches but once you have one, they'll be hard to forget. 2 spoons challenges us to see Peruvian food outside of the usual things you see and their highlight is their sandwiches and bites. I've been coming here for years now because their sandwiches always hit. Now this Peruvian club sandwich. This was my first time trying it and there are layers to the beauty. Peruvian Club Sandwich 4 layers of white bread. lettuce, tomato slices, swiss cheese turkey ham. shredded chicken, and a fried egg. I'm never looking at a club sandwich the same way. This is the only way. Oh and that sauce on the side. Is heaven. Now don't be fooled desayuno lurin is available all day just as they do in Peru and this is the dish to order. You essentially have to build the perfect sandwich and that house made sauce is addictive. My mom is actually telling me to ask for the recipe. Pan con pollo with the little papitas. But if you ask me for my favorite thing, it's the Peruvian empanadas. I only recently learned about to Peruvian empanadas and can I say they may be my favorite empanadas? The gorgeous shortbread like breading gives the empanadas a bit of sweetness contrasting with the inside. Now their butifarra is a classic with good reason and it's packed. Their wings were like nothing I've had and I can safely say I'd cater these for a football game. We ended with some jalea oh and their happy hour menu which is available Monday through Friday from 4 to close.

Two Spoon Peruvian kitchen is such a charming and delightful spot. The atmosphere is clean, chic, and welcoming, and the overall vibe is cool. The service was excellent-quick, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The food was outstanding. My fiancé said it was the best club sandwich he has ever had, hands down. The pork belly, especially with that sauce, was memorable. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Two Spoon is a great find definitely coming back!

Visited for lunch on New Year's Eve. I had been wanting to try this place for a while based on the reviews, but it hadn't worked out. So glad we finally got to try it! We had the Crispy Chalaca and the Pan Con Pollo. Both were delicious and the portions are plentiful. The Chalaca what was my favorite out of the two. Also had a glass of sangria, which was good. Service was very friendly. Will definitely be back for more.

What a treat! Two spoons opened in Kendall recently and thanks to our family in the area, we were able to check it out this past weekend! Great spot serving authentic and delicious Peruvian sandwiches and desserts! Beautiful restaurant and the owners were so welcoming, hospitable and excited to share their love for Peru and its masterful cuisine.

Wow!!! So can't wait to come back! This restaurant is owned by the same amazing crew that from Mr.& Mrs. Bun. Which we also love. They did an amazing job with the decor, it's casual yet touches of elegance. The food is amazing, and the service, as always, is great. We came just for appetizers and drinks, but we are definitely gonna come back to try the rest of the menu.

Give this place ALL the stars. The service? Phenomenal. The ambiance? fantastic. THE FOOD?! SPECTACULAR. We ordered classic papa a la huancaina, and wings as an appetizer. The wings were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and sauced. As an entree we ordered a chicharrón sandwich and an asada sandwich. The pickled onions they add to their sandwiches give a perfect touch of tang, and acidity to balance the richness of the meats and sauces. Their homemade breads make all the difference. Both were phenomenal. I would improve nothing, swap nothing, add nothing. The bavarois dessert as heavenly. Sweet but not too sweet, light, and decadent. We can't wait to go back.

Tried Two Spoons for the very first time last weekend and loved it. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. The fact that it's feels like a family owned hole-in-the-wall is a big plus. Went here with my brother for dinner here. We started with the wings. Very delicious and well presented. The wings were very meaty and great flavor with the sauce and the bleu cheese that came with it gave it some added flavor. Apart from the wings me and my brother both had the Chicharron sandwich. Very unique and rediculously good. Loved every bite of it. Flavorful from the pickled onions in it to the sweet potato slice that was in it which helped hold together the sandwich very well. The chicharron very smooth and crispy at the same time. Really enjoyed the food and the service as well. Everything hit the spot quite nicely and to go along with a great tasting chicha to drink.

There is a mix to find in this latest hidden gem that Two Spoons has to offer. - Food quality - Grear service - Old face familiar and famous from another Peruvian Restaurant. When you see her, you will know and that goes along with her charisma and best treat. Kids, wife and myself love this goods and services. I would honestly bring friends out of towners and those who would enjoy food as culinary art. I posted a few pictures and each dish deserces a review for themselves more so in how one of the owner explains the item. You are in front of a master. We had the spicy chicharrones from the appetizers. They were mouth watery tasteful, crunchy but not hard and the adequate blessing of magic seasoning. Causa of Tuna is recommended. Webhad it on Sunday and repeated on next Friday. Ideal to share for the table. Wife had the triple pollero which was a Gluten-free bread that tastes identical to regular bread. This has turkey, chicken salad and egg salad. We had to order another one to go for Monday's lunch. Yep that good. Bitifarra Sandwich was my favorite on her prior business which was once selected within top 50 restaurants of USA. One was picked per state. Yeah, she got Florida. I'm telling you that quality is key here. Butifarra is smoked ham. Over two days and off the bone to rest for another 24 hours. That makes this ingredient a 36 hours item. When you have this, it is a Sandwich and ceviche like. Ummm Salad had the perfect touch of dressing. It was all flavors married very well and a family recipe courtesy of her grandmother. Usually made once a year around end of year. My wife said it was her favorite salad ever. Desserts are always good. Typical made by her mother. What you appreciate here is authentic but the one on the picture label as baravoa was unreal. Ideal for my wife has is gluten intolerant. It was described as egg white battered until it was foamy and the yellow sauce was the yolk but the unreal thing is no egg taste but unbelievable and a most have. I can keep going but briefly. Kids get a menu. Pizza, sliders, grilled cheese which was made out of two types of cheese. I won't spoil any longer. Hit the gas and go. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy your drinks too and their happy hour from 4pm to closing You are welcome!

I am so happy I decided to go here! I can 0 complains. Honestly loved every single thing I ordered. The restaurant is small and decorated very nicely. The service was amazing, Vanessa was very sweet and explained their best dishes and the concept at the end she even gave me a survey to fill out! Everything tasted fresh and fulll of flavor. I am not a huge fan of chocolate cake but this cake was light, fluffy and creamy! All the food was great :) this is a good brunch option and I would come again.

Cozy little gem tucked away in Kendall! I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty empty but the staff and space were very welcoming. Beautifully decorated space! Service team was very attentive and friendly, I had the Chicharron sandwich with fries. The sandwich was huge and delicious. For dessert I had the tres leches. The entire menu looked very good honestly. I'll probably be back just to try some of the other items. Overall, a good meal and worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Great little Peruvian restaurant serving cafe style food, like sandwiches and brunch as opposed to the whole parrillada and pastas or ceviches. My family eats Peruvian food as a kind of second job since my wife is Peruvian and my son (11) and I love it. I was looking for a place like J28 Sandwich Bar in Ft. Lauderdale and found a comparable place here in the Miami suburbs. We ordered papa huacaina and causa de tuna as appetizers. Both were great. The sauce on the papa want that smooth, I noticed, but the taste was there. The causa was delicious and fresh per the report from my wife and son who shared it. I don't care for tuna. It is a big portion for an appetizer, not like a fancy Peruvian restaurant where the causa is like a contact lens. My wife's plate had EVERYTHING my pan con chicharrón had plus more of it and it had a tamal, which she chose as chicken. Yes, her plate even had the special bread. Everything was perfect but we did agree that the tamal was way drier than is usual. They should work on that a bit. Even the salsa criolla is excellent, so much so that my wife took an order home for her leftovers. My sandwich of pan con chicharrón was perfect. That's it, that's the comment on this sandwich. My son's pan con pollo -- a chicken salad sandwich with the potato sticks -- was tasty. He could not finish it after 1/2 of tuna causa, again reflecting the size of the causa appetizer. In all, this place was great. It's pretty inside, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the music was lovely. We would come again soon.

Peruvian tamales with salsa criolla. Absolutely delicious!

We really had never tried Ceviche before, but the online menu really looked spectacular. Our waitress was Angie, and she was fantastic. It's actually disappointing that we are just passing through and may never go back, because I would seriously like to try every last item. Rather than bore you with the list of everything we ordered, I'll share what we considered to be the best of the best. CALAMARI... we both love calamari, and we have eaten this dish at many different places. This was the best ever. Perfect. CEVICHE DE SALMON EN CANASTA DE TOSTON... seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth. While we did order both the ceviche camaron and the ceviche trio mixto, the hands-down winner, no questions asked, was the CEVICHE DIVINO. We finished with the TORTA DE CHOCOLATE and the smoothest, creamiest cup of coffee ever. My wife is a chocolate cake expert, and while I was finishing all the ceviche, she was having an out of body experience with the cake. I have to say that while we are borderline foodies and love cooking and eating, we probably are not the most adventurous. So glad today was different, and so thrilled with our decision to eat here. 10/10

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.
