I still had a couple of bites left, right after that octopus was hard and chewy I ate some of it because I was really hungry at the moment but not happy at all I told my server about it and still was charger for it, I wasn't expecting them to remove it from the check but at least a discount. Ceviches By Divino in MiMo was very good - my main intent was to get some great ceviche. The juice for the traditional ceviche was amazing - I only wish I had some bread to soak it up, but did scoop it up with a spoon full of white rice from the another dish. It was tart with a slight heat from the chili, with cilantro, thinly sliced red onion, sweet potato, and giant corn - nicely salty. The fish was fresh, and was nicely marinated. The Causa Ganadora was very good - cold mashed potato with Peruvian red pepper, oil, and lime, serviced with panko shrimp with a maracuya sauce. The panko shirmp was lightly crisp. The Lomo Saltado was good, too. The meat was tender, the fries were good, onions, and tomatoes with a side of rice. The Parihuela Acevichada was very tasty, served hot, with corvina, shrimp, squid, and musssels. To drink, I tried the Chicha Morada, with purple corn, pineapple, clove, and cinnamon was good. Came here for lunch and ordered Croquetas de Pulpo, tuna saltado, and Trio de Ceviches. I would say the sauce is tasty and the croquetas are well fried. If you want a taste of everything, you'll like the trio de ceviches. You get some flavored rice, some battered fish and raw cold fish. I was a bit disappointed with tuna saltado. It lacked taste and display execution (a bit salty for me). Nevertheless the service was great and clean in here. I would come back, but conduct some research prior. read more

Decided to come on a Friday for dinner. Was expecting it to be busy, but it was me and another couple in the restaurant. Quite empty for dinner hour on a Friday night, so it made me worry. But service was quick and attentive. Took about 8 minutes for our food to be served after ordering. Food was delicious! The sushi rolls were to die for. Best Peruvian food i have had in Miami. On Monday my sister and I decided to go to Ceviches by Divino in the Mimo district. We love Peruvian food so we were excited to try their lomo saltado and ceviches! We started with the shrimp causa roll which was lightly breaded with Panko crumbs - I devoured every piece. I had never had anything like it and the shrimp didn't have the tail fried in so that was a major plus! The ceviche sampler was great! Big chunks of corvina still marinating in all the juicy leche de Tigre. It was cool to see a side of sweet potato purée - typically it's a piece at other Peruvian restaurants. The main courses were lomo saltado and the steak poke bowl. The flavor, texture and temperature of the meat was perfect! Good size potion too. Enough to share or take home for lunch on the next day. I love the space too! Decor is lovely. You feel like you're at a friend's loft - had to sit upstairs to get a more private seating. The maracuyá juice is light and not too sour or sugary. The lucuma ice cream and the crunchy doughy picarones was wowwww - simply to die for! The do a fig reduction as a base. I could have eaten a second order it was that good! Overall, this place has 5 stars on all categories! Parking is limited in the back or you can pay by phone on Biscayne. Bathroom was squeaky clean and similar decor. Upon walking in Ceviches by Divino in the MiMo area was such a joy. They have a very nice woodsy/garden chic decor with a loft area that we decided to sit at. It's not a big space, but I love it because you get a very homey feel. We had such a great laid-back experience, I ordered the refreshing Horchata, not too sweet, delicious. My sister order the Maracuya juice she loved it. The food was so delicious we ordered the ceviche sampler. My favorite was the Divino ceviche style with chopped mango and avocado in a creamy lime juice. Also ordered the lomo saltado oh it was spectacular, flavors were so delicious super fresh and the meat was tender. We also tried the shrimp causa, which looked like sushi rolls, but they were made potato huancaína mixture, super flavorful, and the shrimp with cooked to perfection. My sister ordered the lomo bowl with spicy Mayo, super yum and fresh. Lastly couldn't leave without tasting dessert and their special picarones/mini donut. Good Lord they were so good; crunchy with a fig sauce, and Lucuma ice cream was absolutely to die for, felt like I was close to heaven. Service was wonderful, she was super attentive and made great recommendations. It's a must visit anytime you're in the area if you're in the mood for a delicious Peruvian, authentic food, you will not be disappointed.
