    Lyndsey R.

Was excited to try Le Jardinier but unfortunately, I don't believe this is Michelin star level food. Don't get me wrong...the food, service, and ambiance were all good but nothing was great! Everyone was pretty attentive; however, one of us did go without water for a little longer than expected. As a server in fine dining myself, I understand the steps of service for this level of dining. Something's I can understand but we had one server, and I believe two SA's or maybe a back server and an SA(?) not entirely sure. It wasn't overly busy because we did get there at 12, when they first opened. There was no music for probably the first 20-30 minutes. It was a very awkward silence. My mom's menu and my menu did not have all of the same menu items, I.e. my menu said trout and hers said salmon. Our bar beverages were both mediocre. My mom got the elixir which separated within the first couple minutes. She had to keep mixing it with a dinner fork. I got the mango dream and it hardly tasted of mango. Wasn't what I was expecting at all. The drinks lacked creativity and that wow factor. The biggest thing being in the industry is "does it look instagram worthy," if not, it's not that good. So for our bar drinks, I give them a 3/10. For our food, the bread service was cute! It came with a small piece of focaccia, baguette and I'm not sure what the last one was, I was not at the table when the bread was presented. But the bread, olive oil and butter were all fantastic. No notes at all! Appetizers: I got the watermelon gazpacho and mom got the burrata. The burrata was surprisingly really good! It was carpaccio style...thinly sliced tomatoes, with roasted pine nuts, a jasmine tea infusion, I believe a bit of balsamic vinaigrette, chopped cherry tomatoes and of course, burrata. This dish was light and refreshing! My appetizer was the watermelon gazpacho, presentation wise, I was not impressed at all. The sourdough toast with Greek yogurt and chopped cherry tomatoes was the star of the dish. The gazpacho leaned a bit heavy on vinegar, not enough watermelon. It was okay overall but not my favorite: note, our SA(?) did ask if I liked it and I told her it was okay. She asked me what exactly I wasn't a fan of and I did tell her it tasted too vinegary but i wasn't interested in getting anything else and it wasn't a big deal. Entrees: I got the pappardelle pasta and mom got the carnaroli risotto. The pappardelle was actually fantastic! The pasta was fresh and prepared al dente. The sauce wasn't too salty and didn't lack in flavor. It had roasted artichokes, which personally, I would have loved mushrooms instead but that's a personal preference. I will say, if you're super hungry, this dish is not very heavy. I do not eat a crazy amount, so the portion for me was perfect. The carnaroli risotto, this was the only thing I couldn't try because of the crab but my mom said it was really good. Inside the risotto was leeks, yuzu and fresh lemon. That said, my mom's only note on this dish was that it was a bit too much citrus. We got the brussel sprouts which were good but we both were too fully to truly eat them. Desert: I got the strawberry eclair which was part of the Miami spice menu. It was either that, sorbet and plant based ice cream, or for an additional $10 the caramel sabayon. We were going to order desert off their normal menu options but we were too full by this point. The eclair was just that, a strawberry eclair. It wasn't amazing or special and you could tell they created this dish for the Miami spice menu specifically. Overall, I give food taste (collectively) 8/10 and presentation a 7/10. Back to service, after each meal, everything was prebussed and reset, which I love. One of my biggest pet peeves is having dirty silverware. Also, each time plates were removed, the table was fully crumbed off. Once we were completely done, literally only two water cups and one almost empty cocktail, we waited for at least 15 minutes for our server to finally come and check on us. He had walked by multiple times without saying anything. He was getting other things for other tables, so again, being in fine dining, I get it but he very easily could have dropped off our check while passing by for another table. My mom, also in the industry mentioned that he may have been super busy but I had a different view than she did and noticed multiple times, our check could have been dropped off. It was just weird how long it too to have someone come by after we were completely done. So for me service was a 7/10. It was good but not great, which would push them into the 8-10 range. When we were paying our bill, we noticed a 20% automatic gratuity included on the check...I guess this is common practice for Miami. Overall, I give our experience a 7/10. It was good but nothing was so amazing that I would come back.

This was such an amazing lunch find and I wish I lived in the area so I could eat here every season. A three course lunch for $58 was an absolute treat. Each course was thoughtfully designed and was delicious at every bite. I especially loved the crudo and dessert. This was my first time having crudo with a coconut milk base and it was to die for. The dessert had so many different textures, you could tell lots of artistry went into creating it. While I've had many salmon dishes, I'd never had it sous vide. It comes out almost a medium rare texture and is very soft, not the typical flaky style, but it was very well accompanied by the sauce and crispy skin. Heads up, they add a 20% gratuity to the check

This is my second time at Le jardinier and my first time was amazing. I came back for the spice this time for dinner. The food was very good and flavorful. I have a type of dairy allergy and they were giving me a bit of a hard time with not putting the dairy sauces on the plate. For a Michelin star restaurant this was a bit surprising and annoying as I wasn't asking to change the dish I was just asking to not have the sauce on top of the dish. They were out of a cocktail on the menu and replaced it with a cosmo that had blue curaçao in it that was served not in a martini glass. Serving a cocktail with blue curaçao at a Michelin star restaurant is diabolical.

First time visiting and we loved our experience so much! Demetrius was our server and he was professional as well as friendly. Each plate came out with a beautiful presentation and all dishes were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated in the corner which was perfect for us to chat and enjoy our food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is clean and so cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I visited Le Jardinier for a Miami Spice lunch, $35. Service was attentive and impeccable. I enjoyed the warm bread that was served before our appetizer. For my appetizer, I selected the Burrata, which was smooth and creamy. Both my guest and I selected the pork tenderloin with bacon and caramelized apple for our entrée. The pork was moist and flavorful. We tried the tropical tart with passionfruit and mango as well as the coconut lime basil meringue for dessert. My favorite was the tropical tart. Le Jardinier has earned a star from Michelin. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is upscale, bright and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their sister restaurant upstairs, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon is the only restaurant in Miami with 2 Michelin stars. The Miami Spice is a great value and I recommend a visit when in the Miami Design District.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Magnifique! Sometimes restaurants can be intimidating if they're too stuffy or have Michelin stars. Luckily, Le Jardinier, which is starred, is elegant and refined without being stuffy or snobby.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's just great service, beautiful dishes, and chic interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I loved the bluefin, the poached halibut, and apple tart. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On Wednesdays there is even live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had an excellent experience at Le Jardinier during their Sunday Soirée! I needed to fuel up for shopping in the design district, and am so glad I came in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat outside on the patio and they had some fans going but it wasn't too hot so it was comfortable to enjoy my meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer a $75.00, 3 course tasting menu with a complimentary cocktail and bread. You have your choice of 3 starters, entrees and 2 desserts. I ordered the chestnut soup, jumbo lump crab cakes, and lemon tart. Everything was excellent, well prepared, and beautiful. The service was great, attentive but not too much. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and delicious. I would definitely go back to Le Jardinier the next time I am in Miami!

We had a really fabulous experience at this restaurant. We went for Miami spice for lunch, which was only $35 per person for an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. We really loved the Barata appetizer, the mushroom Ragu pasta was absolutely delicious and the desserts seriously blew us away. They were extremely flavorful, intricate, and we loved the balance of different flavors and textures. Everything was so thoughtfully done. The service was fantastic and everyone was so friendly. I truly loved my experience, especially as a vegetarian to be able to find good fine dining, it was a nice treat. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Only two Michelin spots open at noon, Cote and this place. Plenty of seating, and the $44 weekday three-course lunch is a solid deal. It's right below Robuchon, and parking in the Design District is $4 for the first four hours Asparagus Soup creamy and smooth Burrata Salad pretty bland Scallop fresh and sweet Butterfly looks stunning, with yuzu mousse and raspberry compote Beet Salad good Bavette ordered medium, wouldn't recommend. Mushrooms were alright Mille Feuille pear, wine pastry, and goat cheese, really good Passionfruit Tart mango sorbet with passionfruit tart

Julia Child remarked, "I don't trust anyone who doesn't like to eat." If Julia Child were still with us, she'd probably be sitting at a corner table at Le Jardinier, giving an approving nod while whispering, "More butter." This sleek, garden-inspired temple of fine dining in Miami takes vegetables as seriously as a French chef takes wine pairings--except here, the produce gets to be the star of the show rather than just a decorative garnish. We opted for the Sunday prix-fixe supper, which offered three choices per course, so naturally, we ordered everything. Because, as Julia wisely said, eating is a trust exercise, and we were ready to put our faith in Le Jardinier's kitchen. The Meal: Appetizers: If a salad could flex, it would look like Le Jardinier's. Delicate herbs, precisely sliced vegetables, and sauces drizzled like the modern art that is making Miami famous. Mains: The fish came with crispy skin so perfect it should have its own Instagram account. The chicken was tender, and the beef dish was a rich in umami. Desserts: The final act was pure spectacle. A whimsical butterfly perched on a pistachio mousse, a soufflé so light we feared it might float away, and a citrus dessert that looked like a sunflower straight out of a Monet painting. The Verdict: Le Jardinier proves that vegetables are not just for side dishes or moral obligations. This is fine dining that celebrates the garden--but don't worry, it also knows how to treat fish and meat with the respect they deserve. Would Julia approve? Without a doubt. But she'd probably still ask for extra butter.

Not sure about the Michelin star. Service was ok, not comparable to some other star restaurants. Food was done perfectly well but nothing extraordinary Scallops were cooked perfectly but nothing exceptional. Menu range and items and ingredients were all very expected of a gourmet restaurant but nothing special. No live presentation of food. Brief and unenthusiastic explanation of dishes and ingredients. Disappointed only because of the star. For any other restaurant it would be judged from a different pov.

So the food here was amazing and unique for sure. What ruined the experience was the insanely slow service. We were probably there 2.5 hours just waiting between courses and then for our check at the end. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated outside so I don't necessarily blame them for this but my entire party was bit up by mosquitoes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was quite disturbing because at one point I went to swat my leg and then there were 2 dead mosquitoes on me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think if maybe there were floor fans, it would've help prevent mosquitoes from being able to land on us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

When I came last weekend the vibes were great, it was just extremely packed to the point that everyone was grinding up against each other. Which in that moment I didn't care because I figured it's at capacity and that's normal. Although, I realized when I was leaving the bar that someone had opened my purse and taken my entire wallet. I was bummed because I couldn't continue partying up the night. This led me to message them on Instagram, which was great because they told me to come in and drinks would be on them for the inconvenience. We got to the bar and I spoke with the bouncer and he said to go to the bartenders, that they would direct me to Rensel the bar manager. He was absolutely lovely, provided my friends and I a round of cocktails and told us to look for Sophia for another round. We didn't end up getting another round because we were exhausted from dancing the night away. It was still very nice and accommodating that they did that and we appreciated it. Sophia was very bubbly and attentive as well. Overall, if you are looking for a bar with a disco ball!! This is a cool spot to come to, they have so many different specialty cocktails. My husband got the spicy pasta and he absolutely loved it, I can't recall the name right now and I honestly forgot to picture it. My friend enjoyed a sushi roll and she liked it. The cocktails were good too, I enjoyed an espresso martini. I started with their signature Mexpresso Martini but I didn't love it with tequila so Juan was kind enough to get it made with vodka instead. The second time around it was much better, very smooth and not too strong. If you are looking for a great spot to have a nice dinner and cocktails, this is probably one of the best spots in Wynwood to check out. It's upscale and honestly decently priced if you ask me. The vibes were just immaculate. Definitely a spot to have on your bucket list to check out.
