There were a few horrible reviews and we almost didn't come - glad we ignored those idi*ts. We had the salmon and tuna ceviche as well as the Peruvian wings and Ceviche Frito! We came back the following two days and day three Juan gave us a free dessert (Peruvian ice cream - see photo) it was delicious. Came here around 1 pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. Service was prompt and accommodating. The Peruvian beer was great. The lomo saltado and rice dish was your typical Peruvian dish. Nothing was special but it was good. However! The sushi roll was very unique and delicious to me. Id say that was the highlighted dish for sure. No rice and instead, they used mashed potato. It works! The flavor profile is there and first time trying it that way and thought it was creative and delicious. I highly recommend that one. We wanted something different and local. We stumbled upon a small hole in the wall, adorable spot run by a Peruvian family. They were so sweet and lovely. The food was ridiculously tasty. I want the recipe for the Arroz con Mariscos! OMG, it was to die for. So was the Porkbelly Con Chalaca Y Salsa Acevichada and the Ceviche Frito. Great tasting ceviche and wonderful service. We had Jesus and he was so friendly. We felt like we knew him for a long time. We had the ají Amarillo ceviche and shrimp ceviche. Both were among the top ceviches we've ever had. Only downside was the portions were small. We don't eat a lot so it was perfect for us. The drinks were good too, and those were large. Food was good. The guy was very rude and nasty. I ordered food and he assumed I said it was to go. When I asked for another fork. He said "when a food is to go it is to go." He responded to me in a condescending way. I am not sure if he was overwhelmed by him working alone but no one needs that type of treatment. Best restaurant in the area, went there 3times on my 4days stay around mid beach. It's a smaller restaurant with limited tables and bar seats. All the food I had was great including the octopus, soup and rice, good spot for seafood lovers. service is fast and friendly. Try the Chicha Morada drink if yo like cinnamon. read more

Ordered lomo soltado instead - very small portion, nothing special. Left smelling like we cooked in the kitchen all day also. The server wasn't welcoming either. The moment you walk into this place you are immediately greeted by someone in the staff!! It's a cute quaint spot. Nothing fancy, just delicious food! I went during lunch and had my order in less than 15 min!! On the menu for the day was an ice cold Inca kola and a delicious shrimp roll! read more

I've been to the Doral location twice and was excited to see that Miami Beach also had a Devino location! Hands down my favorite place to have flavorful and authentic ceviche/ sides! Wow! What a little piece of Peruvian cuisine heaven in Miami Beach! This experience was not only delicious, but Felipe managed to make it even more enjoyable! So let's start by saying we were near the elephant migration (Art Basel beach exhibit 2024) exhausted and looking for food ... and we arrived just as the restaurant was opening. We got the best table inside by the window! We got lucky as the place quickly started to fill up! Good things tend to fill up quick here! We shared an appetizer: there were many very cute and delicious and also good looking choices so we picked the salmon bit one : see the picture: it looked and tasted spectacular! The table next to us chose another one of the bite sized tapas and it looked and (they said) also tasted delicious. I saw pisco fours brought out, sangrias, so they have some awesome wines and cocktails as well- this time we just had a soda. Then we each got a ceviche. My friend got the regular ceviche which she devoured. It was a nice portion size and very fresh and good... and I got the "leche de tigre" because I was not as hungry but I do love the ceviche juice... thinking it would be smaller... well it came with a nice sized fried calamari, shrimp and "choros" omg I was already full and had not even touched the ceviche and the leche de Tigre underneath!! Yummm!! I totally recommend and I am Peruvian: we are harsh cook judges when it comes to our traditional foods, and this little restaurant passed the ceviche test with flying colors! Came to Miami for a conference and I was craving Peruvian food. Literally right around the corner from where I was staying, at the AC Hotel Miami Beach, was this cute little mom and pop shop. With only a few tables, there was a lot traffic in this restaurant. My boyfriend and I were citi biking along the water and I found this next to where we parked the bikes. It's an unassuming place but it was so refreshing and delicious after our bike ride... and the homemade lemonade was so good too! It was the perfect afternoon meal together. We got the ceviche sampler and arroz con Mariscos. The sampler ceviche sampler was super refreshing and delicious. It had great mix of citrus and seafood flavors. The arroz con mariscos was good as well but the ceviche was definitely the star. We got some Peruvian beers to go with this and it was nice and crisp. The server was relatively slow but it's alright.
