Probably the best neighborhood bar I have ever been to. I have been coming to the Abbey since it was a smoke filled closet. After expansion, no smoking, tripling the size, late night happy hour, pool table, The Abbey remains the best beer hall ever, now with full liquor for many years. I always have the Apricot Ale, once in a while when it's cool in Miami I get a Mexican Stout and if I'm feeling froggy I get loose on a Rochefort 12. The staff has always been excellent. Jersen is a mainstay and now I enjoy happy hour until 7:00pm and have a blast. Clean, great music, cold beers, non obnoxious crowd, always a great time!

I arrived in town around 8pm and my buddy took us here for a chill evening before getting into SOBEWFF the next day. As we walked in we went to sit at a table, but right then a couple seats opened up at the bar and we shifted there. As the night went on it got busier and busier so we locked those in for a while. I'm glad we did because that's where your getting the quickest service and bar activity. I wasn't drinking beer that night so I can't speak to the brews, but the prices were great for a few hours of drinking in South Beach... probably the cheapest tab we had all weekend. With so much glitz and glam in the area, a dive bar is a welcomed change of pace.

Never a dull moment at the abbey! Make a stop at this bar everytime I'm in this area and I'd recommend it to anyone! Good drinks and good vibes!

The atmosphere is a dark pub with a lively crowd. Pool table and darts for those that play. The brewery's beers were tasty and very Belgian.

Thank you to Yelp for helping us find Abbey Brewing. We were having dinner near by, and checked Yelp to find nearby breweries. I would definitely classify Abbey Brewng as a dive, but a fun dive at that. This is a darkly lit place, you'll need to pull out your flashlight to see the menu, with a pool table and a dart board. There are several tables as well as seating at the bar. They don't offer food, but you can always have food delivered. My favorite part was there beer selection. My husband and I shared a 6 flight, and they were all really good, smooth beers. My favorite being their Imperial Stout. Next time I'm in town. I will have to go back.

5 star ambience 5 star service 5 star drinks...an atmospheric brewpub with a VERY fun/friendly clientele plus some pretty amazing in-house brews. Abbey Brewing has a very authentic "dimly lit neighborhood bar vibe" despite being in a very touristy area of Miami Beach. While no monks were harmed in the making of this beer, past the storefront entrance, it's all atmospheric stained glass and dark wood, etc. Both the patrons and the staff are quirky and cheerful, plus even more intrusively social than me (a good thing in a bar hehe). You'll feel like you're on the set of Cheers. Even on a busy night, their staffers are fast and efficient, slinging drinks and funny jokes rapid fire. They have an amazing array of beers and other alcohol. I'm usually not a beer drinker, and definitely no connoisseur, but there's something called Brother Aaron's Quadruple that's just amazing. Parking can be tough in the neighborhood, so walk, bike or Uber if you can. We bicycled over with our 2 large dogs (they're very dog friendly). Don't worry, we limited ourselves to max 2 drinks, so we didn't fall off the bikes into the street on the way home or otherwise embarrass the dogs.

Super quaint basic little pub with all the necessities . Beer, liquor, music, pool table, and bomb ass bartenders. The Pub was pretty spacious and had a variety of bees including craft beers! Unlike other pubs , the restrooms were actually clean too! If you want a low key dive bar slash pub feel look no further !

Whenever I travel, especially after walking around, it's really nice to find I local brewery just sit back and enjoy some nice weather at. There were a few small tables outside, and the inside as you can see from the photo, and is fairly dark and Tavern-esque. They did have a fairly large selection of things to drink, which is interesting because I was deliberately interested in trying some of the breweries's own. The person that was at the counter didn't know a lot about the type of peers that were being made there come on which I also thought was strange. I specifically look for different types of IPA's with specific types of hops, so also a little disappointing. I don't recall if there was anything to eat, but this particular brewery is right next to what looks like a really nice restaurant that we were considering trying. So, for having a decent IPA, and places to sit outside, I would give this 3 1/2 stars

Best stop in Miami Beach. The beers were on par with the Trappists in Belgium. Service was great and I love the dark atmosphere.

You know how some restaurants blast music so loud you end up yelling at the table? Not here. The music was at the perfect level where we could actually talk and enjoy each other. Any time I needed something, someone was right there to help. No chasing servers down, no attitude, just genuinely great service. Now the food. 20 out of 10. Honestly, everything was delicious. Not a single miss. The drinks though? 100 out of 10. Dangerous in the best way. Our waitress, I wish I remembered her name, was incredible. Every recommendation she made was spot on, and we loved everything she suggested. I would absolutely recommend this place, but part of me wants to keep it a secret because the vibe is just that good. If you're looking for amazing food, great drinks, and an overall great experience, this is it.

When we arrived we were greeted and promptly seated inside at the back wall in a booth. There was another couple to our left and one or two others across the room at other tables. The couple in the corner who was seat next to us proceeded to talk extremely loud and had several FaceTime calls with their children as if they were in a private location and not a restaurant. Our entire meal consisted of listening to them in the phone and talking so loud to each other and their server we could hear every word! This rude and annoying behavior overshadowed the meal and left us very frustrated and annoyed. If you are going to require certain attire (although several guest came in while we were there who had on shorts and flip flops) and charge very high prices, you should have a cell phone policy in place and redirect guest to step outside or leave if they feel the need to FT their family for 20-30 min. We spent well over $200 on a meal for two and it was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The enjoyed the food we ordered except for the French onion soup which I sent back. The Burrata Caprese was fresh but could have used a few more tomatoes and my husband really enjoyed his steak. I chose not to order anything once my soup was returned because we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Over all the service was good and most of the food was too. Unfortunately, there are those who'd have no regard for their environment and those around them which makes others experience negative! The manager and severs were aware of what they were doing too as they walked by a few times and looked at them. But failed to intervene and for that they get two stars.

We asked to sit downstairs where the DJ starts around 11PM. The energy was great with incredibly comfortable and spacious seating. There was a 2 hour limit at the table, but we moved to the bar after our meal. Loved the caviar potato as an appetizer, and the beef tenderloin literally melted in my mouth. The downstairs scene gets pretty loud just an FYI. Service was top notch. Seems pretty trendy and mainstream, but definitely worth it.

Mila is undeniably gorgeous and absolutely the place to be seen for dinner -- but as a brunch…read moredestination, it left me longing for the Setai. Let's start with the good, because credit where it's due: the food is genuinely excellent, particularly the fish and seafood, which were the clear stars of the spread. And our server, while I'll get to a quibble shortly, was fun, warm, and thoroughly professional. Now the rest. Brunch should feel like a leisurely indulgence, not a contact sport. The meat station had a queue of 20+ people at peak -- I came for great food, not a deli ticket. The space is crowded and genuinely hard to navigate. Champagne required actively hunting down a server, whereas the Setai simply leaves a bottle at your table and lets you breathe. Coffee is $7 a cup -- at a brunch of this price point, charging for coffee feels a little cheeky. Then there was the pacing. Well before our two hours were up, our (otherwise lovely) server began the gentle wrap-up and produced the bill -- which is a curious energy for a "linger and enjoy" brunch. And we were charged an extra 2% as a "large party" of seven... at a buffet. Where we served ourselves. I'm still working out the math on that one. If you want a beautiful setting, live music, better drinks, attentive service, and zero queues, the Setai brunch wins -- every single time. Mila, save it for the nightlife.
