If you haven't been here yet, you have to try it!! We were visiting town and looking for close restaurants to grab a bite to eat, this restaurant was just in walking distance a few blocks away. The menu was overwhelming but in a good way, so many options that sounded so delicious. However, it was a weekday so i inquired about them having happy hour, which they did but they didn't initially give us the happy hour menu when sitting us down. The happy hour specials and prices were just too good to pass! We truly enjoyed every single food item we ordered, which is quite rare for me and my husband. I am still dreaming about their macaroni and cheese. Trust me, try this restaurant!
Stopped in for solo lunch and ended up deciding on the fried chicken and Brussels. I got a glass of rose because my first drink option from the menu wasn't available at the time. The chicken was juicy and fried nice and crispy. The salad was fresh and dollop of potatoes was good also. The Brussels that I only ordered because when I asked what came with the chicken, the server told me nothing but a little garnish. And they ended up coming out burnt, and I found that said garnish would have absolutely sufficed. Lol. All in all, it's a cute place to stop in.
This brunch spot is definitely on the higher end when it comes to pricing, but the quality absolutely matches it. You can tell right away that they use fresh, high-quality ingredients in everything they serve. The trout deviled eggs were such a unique twist on a classic -- creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with that subtle smokiness from the trout. The green tomatoes BLT stack with pork belly were a standout too. The tomatoes had just the right amount of tang, and the pork belly was rich and crispy, creating an amazing combination of textures and flavors. Even the salad wedges felt elevated, crisp, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared rather than just an afterthought. Overall, it's the kind of place you go when you want a more refined breakfast experience. Yes, it's a splurge, but the freshness, creativity, and quality make it worth it. I'd definitely come back for another special brunch.
Great food Chicken and waffle was great Corn was average and can do without it next time Service is slooooooooooow had to keep waving the waiter over
There's a reason people say that the Yardbird Table & Bar has the best fried chicken, and we got to experience that excellence for a fantastic Thanksgiving meal. To start, the ambiance of the restaurant in general is kicking. Everyone from the bartenders, servers and other patrons are smiling and having a great time. The energy is light, fun and in a sense, feels like home. And to boot, the cocktails and food are chefs kiss. The manhattan was absolute perfection. Skillet cornbread = fire. And 100%: Order the fried chicken, with or without the waffles. Either way, you will not be disappointed :) We will definitely be coming back to try more of the delicious dishes, next time we are in Miami!
Came here for the Power Lunch, which I expected to be a quick, budget-friendly option. Unfortunately, service was really slow even though the place was nearly empty on a Friday....maybe two or three tables inside and a couple outside, including ours. Appetizers came out quickly, but our entrées took almost an hour. Not sure why it took that long for a sandwich and wings. Gratuity is automatically added, which might explain why the service felt just "okay"....not bad, but definitely not great either, really just "okay". On a positive note, the mango sorbet at the end was a nice touch!
Yardbird is a beautiful establishment with a vibrant atmosphere ,the addition of a live DJ was such a nice touch and really elevated the overall vibe! I went with a few solid recommendations from fellow Yelpers, and I'm glad I did. Lewellen's Chicken was absolutely delicious ,a bit over seasoned and but cooked just right. Still a true standout! The All-American plate had great potential with a fun concept, but a few things missed the mark. The greens were a lovely, homey touch, but the bacon was unfortunately extremely hard with an off, inauthentic flavor. The sausage didn't quite impress either. The Shrimp & Grits had great flavor and was a solid pick, though I personally would've loved a creamier, cheesier texture to the grits. Just a small tweak away from greatness. Appetizer wins: the Fried Green Tomatoes were crispy and delicious, and the Bacon Jam Jalapeño Deviled Eggs were bursting with flavor ,definitely recommend those! Service-wise, Edwin did a great job attentive and polite. The person who brought out our food, however, could benefit from a bit more training on how to handle questions or concerns. That said, the front desk hostess was warm, welcoming, and truly personable. All in all, Yardbird is worth a visit for the ambiance and standout dishes, but at this price point, I'd expect the entire meal to feel more consistent and satisfying. Use less salt.
My husband really likes this place, it was my first time. The staff was all very pleasant and the place was clean Everything we ordered was very good. Watermelon mojito was chef's kiss. The fried chicken and fish n chips were delicious. Our waitress was very kind and they offered a complimentary birthday dessert for my husband. I've had better mashed potatoes and coleslaw but other than that, I would definitely come back again and try other things from the menu.
Nice brunch restaurant to visit. The placeis clean and has nice decor. When you first walk in you will be greated my a friendly host. We didnt have a wait so we were seated immediately. Our waitress was pleasant. My only advice would to be more attentive. We had to constantly ask for refills, silverware, condiments and etc. We ordered the skillet cornbread, hold trinity hash, fried chicken, mac n cheese, and smoked brisket rancheros. Everything was good. The fried chicken was a little on the dry side but besides that it was ok. Nothing spectacular. I would visit again just wont be my first choice.
Since we stopped in Miami before a cruise, we decided to try Yard Bird. Sadly, they were still serving brunch, so that's what we had. The location is nice, on the corner with a large sign, so you can't miss it. Clean look and lively music. Unfortunately it was full on a Sunday morning, so the only seats were outside. We didn't have a reservation, so I can't blame them. I'm glad we were able to be accommodated on such short notice. Our waiter was great. We were waited on and served quickly. I ordered a drink and the crème brûlée waffles, which came with a side of strawberries and whipped cream. It was great for a rather warm day. I wish I'd had the appetite for their famous chicken and waffles, though the actual waffles had slight burnt bits, but after coming off a long flight, I was more interested in sleeping than eating. Maybe next time, though!
Always a great time. The service, ambiance and food is always good. The chicken and waffles is it. You have to try them. I get this dish every time I go and I love it. It's a large portion so you can definitely split the meal. They offered a free dessert and it was fire.
8/10 the service was very good. Some side dishes lacked a little flavor but the chicken was unique and moist
Yardbirds is a southern country experience in Miami.Comfort food at its finest! Kunika our server was fun and knowledgeable. She gave great suggestions that mom and I thoroughly enjoyed!! We both sighed when were done eating... like stick in a fork in us so we can deflate! We would definitely return.. we are very satisfied! The drinks are unique and tasty but the food is the STAR here! Oh check out the patio it's chill and vibey!

First and foremost, do not waste your time or money coming here. As a Miami native, I was genuinely disappointed by both the food and the level of service. Unfortunately, neither lived up to expectations. We started with the "jumbo" wings, which were anything but jumbo. We received only flats, and they were some of the smallest wings I've ever been served. After bringing this to the staff's attention, we were told the manager would take 50% off the order. However, when the bill arrived, we were informed that the manager had already left and the discount could no longer be honored. Instead, we were given only the $4 happy hour discount, despite being promised otherwise. For our entrées, we ordered the brisket sandwich and the half chicken. Neither was worth ordering. The chicken lacked the crispy texture it was advertised to have, and the brisket was bland and without flavor. The sandwich was also supposed to come with truffle fries, but instead we were served cold, plain fries. After mentioning it, the solution was to bring us a side of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese and ask us to mix it ourselves. The service was equally disappointing. We asked our server twice for drink refills, but she never brought them. We eventually had to flag down another server just to get our beverages refilled. Overall, this was a frustrating dining experience from start to finish. Between the poor-quality food, unfulfilled promises regarding the bill, and inattentive service, this restaurant fell well below the standard I would expect from a Miami establishment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues because the current level of food quality and customer service is simply unacceptable. and quality is embarrassing for miami. read more

Simply amazing. Food. Service. Ambiance. My friend and I had a great experience. The live DJ played great music. The location isn't ideal for parking but they did GOod Morning have valet and street park if available. Other than that you'd have to park in the garage. Food: The Shrimp and grits were delicious. The chicken and waffles was the star of the show. Seasoned perfectly and the waffle was so soft. The watermelon was a great addition to the dish. read more

I need to tell you about this experience because I'm still processing how disappointed I am. I loved Yardbird in Vegas, I celebrated my-birthday there and I loved it. So when I saw there was a Miami location, I was genuinely excited. It turn out to be a horrible experience. On one not so busy evening, I sat at the bar, ordered a glass of beer and told the bartender I was ready to order food. I was waiting for quite some time before the food finally arrived. However, when the food arrived, I had no utensils to eat it with. The bartender finally realized and she gave me the utensils. I ordered Big Easy Shrimp & Grits - $36 + tax (one of their "classics"). All the shrimps were burnt, dry and hard. I did not want to send the food back because honestly I started to not trust the service here. When I finished the food, I was trying to find the bartender and asked for the bill. She seemed not ready, but I needed to use the restroom so I asked another server where it was. When I stood up, the bartender shot me this suspicious look like and she made a comment but another server explained to her that I needed to go to the restroom. She seemed to think that I was doing a dine-and-dash. Seriously? The bill came, and 18% gratuity was automatically added, which maybe explains why nobody seemed motivated to provide great service? For $36+ for one dish, plus automatic gratuity, plus terrible service, I expected SO much more. This experience has me questioning whether I'll ever go to another Yardbird location anywhere. The Vegas spot set the bar high, and Miami absolutely demolished any goodwill I had toward this restaurant group. When the food doesn't match the price and the service makes you feel like a criminal for going to the bathroom, something is seriously broken. Save your money. There are too many amazing restaurants in Miami to waste it here. Would not recommend. Would not return. read more
Right near lots of places and a good atmosphere to enjoy a conversation. The food was good as we enjoyed a few apps, the blt stack and cornbread. Ordered a variety of dishes and I'm bummed I missed the rib presentation. Clearly best dish. Chicken was good but needed a little more temperature. Brisket sandwich and fries were solid. And the wedge salad and baked potatoe was a good mix. Key lime pie capped the night. Check it out. TVs in bar and I guess there are other locations around the world. Who knew! read more
Love that this place is big, with ample seating both inside and out! Southern food with a bit of a twist - I'd say it's all elevated :) We were seated quickly but were sad to learn that they no longer offer lunch specials as they used to. My cousin and I ordered the BLT fried green tomatoes which were delicious and uniquely done. The presentation was lovely and the flavor was delicious. We also got the caesar salad, which was good but nothing out of this world. I think if I were to get it again, I would ask for extra pickled grapes (it came with two total, sliced in half haha) which made the salad stand out! Lastly we got the brisket sandwich with truffle fries. It looked pretty big, but the bread was like smashburger hamburger style where once you grabbed it, it flattened which made the dish smaller than it looked. To be honest, I preferred the sandwich without the sauce it came with! Overall the meal was good, but it was definitely pricey considering the portions weren't huge. Definitely a good place to come back with a group because there's a lot of room! read more

We had a really good lunch at Yardbird today. The prices gave us a little bit of sticker shock but I realize that is how it is in Miami Beach. Service: Slower. Disclaimer that I am a New Yorker so I expect things Food: Chicken Biscuit Sliders - very juicy chicken with a sweet/spicy chili jam. picked vegetables on the side help cut the fate of the dish Biscuits and Gravy - must get! very delicious meal. the chicken was juicy and the gravy was creamy. I loved that they put down the gravy first so that you don't lose the crunch from the chicken! Apple Cobbler - cold. I was expecting a warm dish. the crumb was warm but the apples were cold. it was a nice semi sweet treat to go back to. The sliced apples made it a beautiful dish but it was difficult to eat. its better eaten with a fork. On to my next adventure... read more

Okay, yum. I had a little staycation on South Beach recently and after an afternoon of perusing Lincoln Road, I stopped at Yardbird for a late lunch/early dinner. They were still serving their brunch menu when I stopped it - and I had such a hard time choosing (I definitely need to come back to try the cinnamon roll, shrimp and grits and the mac and cheese). I sat at the bar and had fantastic service by Ricardo; he was great at giving me recommendations for food and drinks. When I said I was contemplating the fried green tomatoes, he let me know I could order just one, instead of a full order - which was such a win! And they were delicious - the only thing that made me sad is that you can't just order the pimento cheese with the bread basket! For my entree, I tried their signature fried chicken - which is something I definitely don't usually order - and it was so juicy, and crunchy, and flavorful. Literally delightful. I also completely ate the simple salad and the mashed potatoes and gravy that came with it. I tried three of their lighter, fruiter cocktails and they were all delicious and clearly made with such attention to detail. I definitely want to come back for dinner to try some of their more booze-forward cocktails! For now, I would recommend the Toes in the Sand, Sippin' on Trouble, and Lime and Dandy (it tasted like a key lime pie, but without being too too sweet). And finally, while I was stuffed, I grabbed dessert to go - and opted for their banana cheesecake pudding - and yum. Served to-go it was a bit deconstructed - but definitely didn't take away from the taste. Ultimately, I fantastic place and I can't wait to return with my husband, so I can try more items on the menu! read more
Had lunch at Yardbird and I must say it was delicious. We had one of the best server, her name is Prem. She was very nice, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. The food was super fresh, cooked to order, so we waited just a bit. The wait was not a complaint I'm always glad to get fresh food. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the waffles were nice and fluffy. Highly recommend this spot. True southern food. read more

Hello Bam B,…
Yardbird was such a hit with my friends! Everything we offered was rich and decadent. My friends' favorite were the creme brûlée waffles, but I wish they had a little more filling. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken and egg sandwich and mac and cheese though! They are known for their fried chicken and I 100% understand why. The chicken was perfectly crispy and moist inside. The Mac and cheese was also covered in a thick layer of quality cheeses. The thicker noodle absorbed a lot of the cheese, which made every bite taste heavenly. read more
I booked a reservation for a friend's birthday after seeing all the great reviews -- Yardbird is known for its Southern comfort food, especially the fried chicken. Here's everything we tried: * Deviled Eggs: Creamy, flavorful, and a perfect start. * Chicken & Waffles: Absolutely delicious, served with sweet honey hot sauce and bourbon maple syrup -- chef's kiss! The side of watermelon felt a bit random and unnecessary, though. * Lewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken: Classic crispy fried chicken. It was a bit dry, but still tasty overall. * Slow Roasted Beer Can Chicken: Yes, I ordered more chicken -- and this one was worth it! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. * St. Louis Ribs: My favorite of the night! Tender, juicy, and falling off the bone -- a MUST-order. * Mac & Cheese: Creamy, cheesy, and comforting. * Southern Street Corn: Another must-order -- packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. * Bourbon Bacon Chocolate Cake: Rich, decadent, and big enough to share. I highly recommend Yardbird. The food was fantastic, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. Portions are generous, so come hungry! read more

Yardbird is always a favorite of ours, and last night was no exception. We kicked things off with a killer gin cocktail with pineapple, and the cornbread starter was just the right sweet-savory note to begin with. My husband ordered the Low & Slow Brisket Dip (smoked brisket, caramelized onions, Swiss, roasted garlic aioli, horseradish cream) with truffle fries, and I had their Crispy Chicken Biscuit Sliders, plus sides of mac and cheese, southern street corn, and crispy Brussels sprouts. We shared everything so we could try a bit of all the flavors. Every dish was fantastic. We seriously couldn't finish a single dish (except the Brussels--they were small, charred just right, and delicious!). If Yardbird keeps this level of flavor and service up, we'll always be back. read more

I haven't had chicken and waffles since before I found out about my non-Celiac gluten sensitivity. It's a saving grace that this restaurant offers a gluten sensitive friendly version. I'm from Southern CA and have had the local versions of this dish and I can safely say Yardbird's is legit. Even without any sauce, the fried chicken was hot, juicy, and well-seasoned. Friendly service and trendy music in the background where you can just barely carry a conversation. read more

Dear Lord, that food was amazing. As broke college students, we were lucky to go during lunch hour and get a 3-course meal for a reasonable price. The deviled eggs were addictive, and I'm still craving the BLT stack. I love good fried chicken -- and let's just say, only bones were left on my plate. I do wish I'd gotten a bit more chicken, though. My friend and I compared plates, and she definitely had more than I did (or maybe I'm just big-backed ). The service was a little lackluster compared to the rest of the experience, but overall, I left happy and satisfied... could've left happier, though.. read more
I completely enjoyed my dinner at Yardbird. For starters the decor and lighting is just perfect. I didn't have to squint to see the menu but it was easy on the eyes just the same. We started off with apps. We sampled the fried green tomatoes with pork belly, the Texas twinkie and the hot collard greens with artichoke dip. For mains we had the mac n cheese, crispy brussels, chicken n waffles, bbq plate and the protein bowl salad. Everyone loved their meal and recommended the restaurant to friends. We'd definitely return. read more

Is blackened chicken made here?
No, its not on the menu. Fried Chicken is what they are known for.
Do you have a corkage fee for wine?
Hello Pablo, Yes we do. $35 per bottle providing it is not a wine that we currently offer.
Is there a dress code? Kid friendly?
Dress code is business casual. No beach wear. Kids are welcome!
When is happy hour?
Lol, from my perspective upon arrival.... People were happy at breakfast time!!! I don't know if there is a set time for happy hour!!! Me: Happy hour from open to close
Dinner reservations cancellation policy?
I can't make lunch reservations but I can't figure out if reservations only start after 3 or all the lunch times are full.. I find it hard to believe since dinner slots are all open but not lunches...?
I couldn't make a reservation either on open table. But I got here at 1 it wasn't packed there was a 20 min wait. We sat at the bar and drank.
Lunch menu looks better than dinner! Anyone know what time they stopped serving lunch options? Nashville hot chicken sandwich is on the lunch menu and not the dinner menu!
I would assume after 3 pm lunch ends
What are their lunch specials?
No lunch specials, this is a NYC Restaurant with NY prices. It's one menu, expensive but very delicious & fattening!
Is the happy hour menu offered throughout the restaurant or only at the bar?
Should be throughout the restaurant

No it is several blocks from the beach.
Does brunch have bottomless mimosas?
No they do not have bottomless mimosas and that's very disappointing. Their price is $13/per glass
Are there vegan options?
You may want to check out the menu... the link is attached. I know they have salad options but some have cheese on them... maybe u can have them take it off?…
Do they season their chicken in pickles? Asking because I am allergic
I don't think it tastes like pickle. But I'm unsure!
Do they do take out orders?
Not over the phone. I believe you can go to the bar and place an order to go.
