A relic of the past. One of the last of the Mohicans. Enjoy slices of Americana like this because many have not or will not stand the test of time. Enjoy the second hand smoke it will build character and a protective layer on the lungs.

A man's bar, in my opinion. This bar has stories and has had many famous folks visit. It's worth visiting for the history.

Cool dive bar to check out. It's cash only and smokers are allowed inside so it smelled like cigarettes. The bartender seemed cool and got us our drinks. Nothing fancy here besides beer and some basic rail drinks. A neat place just to check out during our Miami visit!

We NEVER miss a visit it Mac's Deuce Bar, and we even dropped our teens at Walgreens for icecream so we could sneak in for a drink! We first visited due tto Anthony Bourdain years ago, and it is one of our favorite Miami spots due to the cheap drinks (cash only) and eclectic crowd. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy great drinks and a lively vibe. The bartenders are friendly, attentive, and mix up fantastic drinks that are always on point.

Top tier dive bar. Great service, tunes, and vibe. Love stopping here and spending a few hours whenever I'm in Miami.

Old school decor of Mac's. The way it's been for DECADES!

Well, I'm not sure where to start with Club Deuce Miami Beach. 2026 will be 100 years since opening! I've been coming for about 35 years myself. Through the 80's and 90's it was an absolute favorite for many of us who were out and about on South Beach. Dancing, roller blading, partying. Just enjoying everything great about South Beach at the time. The bar stools are arranged such, so everyone is kind of facing others. So, it's always been great for socializing. A jukebox, pool table, bathrooms covered top to bottom with stickers and graffiti you'll never forget. I still drop by to share memories with longtime friends. Which is easy to do. Since the place hasn't changed decor one bit over the decades. This was how the previous owner, Mac, wanted it. And his wishes, as well as ours, have always been honored. You absolutely MUST stop by for a drink if you're in the area.

Knew of this place as being a big Anthony Bourdain fan, who used to frequent this bar. Actually noticed it walking to the nearby Walgreens. Went straight to the bar after and it was just like I expected. Typical old school dive bar, that is cash only (I knew that already). Ordered a shot of Jameson and Corona, which is simple as it gets. Don't come here looking for fancy, over the top cocktails. Enjoyed my drinks as I just observed everyone around the bar. Didn't stay long as we were going to another area nearby. Just glad to say that I had a drink here.

$10 cash in 2022 is two bud lights

Maybe they're cash only because it's the kind of spot that a Celeb chef (or mobster or politician) can sit under the neon and enjoy a cocktail or brew... I've been here more than a few times whether for a pub crawl, the beginning or rite end of a night and once even during the day after a 5K race. This spot has been on the beach for a minute, and is an institution. Most recently, a friend and I ended up at the tail end of a long night of fun to enjoy the sights and a couple of buds. (Bud Light is what $10 will get you in 2022). They also sell branded jackets which as a connoisseur of drunken history you should get as a hedge against gentrification to this classic. Cheers!

A fun dive bar in Miami! The service is what you'd expect - when you're empty you'll get refilled! My husband and I enjoyed our time there.

Ask the Community - Mac's Club Deuce

    What is the cover charge?

Mac’s is a dive bar. There is no cover charge.

Is it for 18 and up?

I'd imagine it's 21 and up. It doesn't say when you walk in but it's strictly a dive bar with nothing to do but drink, shoot pool, and smoke.

Thursday night is Karaoke and the people in here can sing. You can tell this is a place the locals actually go to. I didn't try the food so I can't speak on that but the drinks were strong and the prices are good, you aren't going to be super overcharged like everywhere else. It's only a block off the beach as well! Tons of pool, video games, and two bars in two connected building. One side is a dance side the other side is a gaming fun side! The bar tenders were great and really took the time to make you feel welcomed! I will visit this place every time I come back to Miami!

We went to the bar to explain that the pool table was broken and they it was fine. When we closed out they charged us $20 for one game of pool. I have been to high-end clubs where it's less than that. This nasty bar charged us $20 to play one round of pool when the pool table next to us that unfortunately was occupied only paid equivalent of $3. That is robbery and discrimination & will not be coming back here ever again. I recommend staying away from this bar. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we were only gay people in there. Avoid it all costs, I love a loud bar scene, but I couldn't even hear my friend standing next to me. The energy was not good with the exception of the female Argentianian bartender who is quite kind, but whoever we closed out with was quite rude. 0 stars if I could. We want our money back.

It was their trivia night, I believe there was a $1500 pot if you win. Everyone seemed to be playing. We arrived to late to join. The place was packed yet there were only two servers. Our server was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. However she managed to keep up with out party of 9. There were times we were waiting for assistance however we could see she wasn't just sitting on her ass. We order burgers, flat breads, tenders and steak tacos. Steak tacos were horrible Burgers were delicious Flatbread were good Tenders definitely looked like they were frozen tenders from the grocer. The beverages were nice not too strong but not weak. We were kinda profiled however as a black person you get use to it. My husband and brother stepped out for a smoke break..although everyone else was still seated at the table. We watched security run out after them. We laughed cause they looked stupid. When security ran out there they pretended to be looking at something when they noticed they guys were right outside the door. Irish pub we didn't expect any less. However it was kinds funny how the guy darted out after them then aimlessly looked around after he realized they were smoking a cigarette ‍

I realized that I had not actually been to this location since it was The Playwright (or whatever it was called) 4 or 5 years ago. The updated interior is nice - very "pubby" - and they offer a good variety of seating from bar seats to high-tops to couches. Two things here that were standouts: First, the burger is one of the best burgers I've had on South Beach. So much so that I'm craving it again this morning. They've done a good job with the menu in that it still has all those bar foods that you look for in a place like this, but they've put some thought into elevating a number of items (e.g. the short rib poutine!) Second, the service was great. Our server (sorry, can't remember his name - a nice guy from Kendall) was very friendly and provided excellent service. As many reviews mention, this is definitely a place to watch a game. While we weren't there for this purpose last night, the TV setup is great and I could def see myself camping out there with a few beers on a weekend afternoon. As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I'll be back again for sure.

Great nostalgia and drinks but their gratuity practice is a serious problem…read more I stopped by Wet Willie's out of nostalgia during my most recent visit. Years ago I'd come here after the beach, sit on the balcony, people-watch, and cool off with a strong, frozen drink. In that sense, the place is exactly as I remember, with cold drinks on a hot Miami day and a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, the billing experience completely changed how I felt about our visit. When the check arrived, I noticed the suggested tip percentages were unusual (around 7%, 8%, and 9%). I was planning to leave my normal 20% tip, but then the gentleman behind the bar explained that a 15% gratuity had already been added and the listed percentages would be additional. To be clear: I always tip, and I generally tip well. But adding a gratuity without authorization or clearly disclosing it up front is a big deal. A tip is supposed to be voluntary, and quietly including one, especially in a setting where you're already prompted to add more, feels misleading and wildly inappropriate. That part honestly overshadowed the visit for me. The drinks and the memories are still there, but check your bill carefully before paying. I enjoyed the nostalgia, yet this practice alone makes me hesitant to return. This practice of discretely tipping themselves is borderline theft.
