I would give 0 stars if I can. I came here on my few hours of vacation which seems great cause I'm a pescatarian and they have a broad seafood menu. As I walked in I was completely ignored, while everyone else received menus and was able to put in a food order. Once I realised tables that arrived after me were being assisted, I kindly asked for the menu in which the waiter looked at me as if I wasn't asking her to do her job. She brought the menus with an attitude and walked away. This place is full of racist old women. It's actually disgusting cause it was 5 workers and no one approached me they just constantly stared back at me as if I wasn't waiting on service. As a company if you have employees in the long run it will damage the company image. It's 2026 no one has time to deal with old racist Hispanic women. Dinner for 2. - Ambiance (2*) Diner like environment. It's a bit odd because when you walk in, there's no host stand- just a register and menus overhead. It implies you order up front, then grab a table. But this isn't the case at all. Eventually, someone motioned for us to pick a table. - Service (1*) The server was friendly but excruciatingly slow. Took forever to order, forever to receive water, forever to receive food. Water never refilled. The worst part was the bill. 2 person table had gratuity automatically added (20%). After he ran my card, the receipt came back, not with a line that said "additional tip" but just "tip" with suggestions for amounts. By this time, there was no breakout of original price plus auto gratuity. So, had I not looked at the receipt before sending my card in, I might have been duped into double tipping. Pretty shady in my opinion. - Costa Snapper, $30 (3*) Butterflied pretty nicely, though some bones still remained. Meat was quite tender and tasty. It was a bit oily though, and I wish it were more balanced in flavor (pretty sour from a heavy dose of lemon I assume). Visited September 5th, 2025 for second time. Besides the great and speedy service from Thomas. He has the greatest smile. The restaurant was very busy with many customers all the time. The food itself is just above and beyond. I personally like their 1/2 grilled pork with beans and seasoned rice. The bomb is when you add green garlic sauce on top of the pork chop it bring the pork chop to different level of taste! Don't get me wrong whether with sauce or not the pork-chop tasted good! I saw another customer next to me ordered 1/2 pounds steak with rice and fries which looks so delicious. Makes me want to order it next time. Decided to stop by here since it was walking distance from our hotel. At first it looked like a self-serve restaurant since there's no hostess at the door or anything. Walked up to the counter to look at the menu on the wall and that was when a server came to ask if we are dining or takeout. Then we got seated. They have a very large menu but over its combination of chicken, steak, seafood, salad and sides. The price is actually not bad for downtown Miami. BEWARE! They will automatically serve you a water bottle instead of tap/distilled water if you don't specify. A water bottoms that would cost like 50 cents at Whole Foods a block down is now $2.75. Definitely not worth. We looked around and saw some tables with water bottles and some tables with just regular tap. I'm guessing the regulars know to ask. I should have mentioned right away but I thought because we were dining in it would be included? Anyways, didn't end up drinking it so we asked if we can return it. The server asked if we would rather get a cookie in exchange instead of her voiding the transaction (odd, since it should be easy?) Anyways, we opted for the cookies and whatever it was, it was pretty good. Definitely worth it more than the cheap water bottle. Lol -Sauted Beef- a little salty but good portion size. Not bad for the price. For a place that serve French fries, I was surprised they didn't have ketchup on the table but oh well. -Grilled steak- hubby for the grilled steak combo, that came with black bean, plantain, and a can of soda. Also good portion for the price? BEWARE- they do charge automatic gratuity of 18%. Maybe the reason why they prefer to sub cookies for the water bottle? We chose this Peruvian place because it was right around the corner from our hotel in Miami. Two on our group shared 1Lb of skirt steak, another had seafood gumbo, a burger with fries, chicken fried rice and two of us got the grilled chicken breast with rice and beans. A couple of us got the guacamole for a side. The service was a bit confusing as very very spoke English causing a bit of back up at the counter, but they do an excellent job of keeping tables cleaned off and trays picked up. Everyone at the table really enjoyed the food. This side of my family are from Arkansas, with this being the second time they have had a vacation or eaten food other than American. For me the guacamole was blended up and not very inviting and was quite salty . I could not finish it. The grilled chicken was okay nothing special. Cooked perfectly, but seasoned no different than we would at home. The burger was half eaten and removed from the bun and condiments by the 10 year old. The French fires left untouched. The skirt steak was loved by both the adult and the other 10 year old. I took a small bite and it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I gave four stars for the Arkansas family review! read more

Casual Peruvian restaurant with an extensive menu. We ordered a seafood gumbo, a chicken platter that came with 2 side orders, and a sangria. The seafood gumbo was alright in terms of flavor but it had weird pieces of chewy cheese or something that wasn't pleasant with the gumbo. The chicken was pretty good and tender, not dry or anything. And the sangria was pretty nice since it didn't taste too alcoholic. Overall the food is just alright, nothing high quality. It's a place to grab a casual bite. I like to visit La Granja on SW 17 Ave & SW 7 Street, and they allowed a non service dog inside an open kitchen restaurant. This is disgusting! It's a shame because the food and service was not bad but allowing a dog inside the restaurant is a no no. I certainly won't be eating here again. read more

Me, my wife and my grandson visited the downtown Miami location on 7-6 at approximately 1230 pm. We were going to leave on a cruise in a couple of days and had rented an apartment for our family downtown. I had done some research beforehand and La Granja looked really good. We were seated promptly and our waitress was really nice and explained the menu to us. I ordered the Peruvian chicken and rice and my wife ordered the chicken bowl. In its overpriced little corner of the world, La Granja has to be the best deal going. The self-described orientation of this chain of eateries is "Peruvian family restaurant," which means almost nothing in my limited experience of non-Mexican Latin American food. But based on one visit, it seems like it means "Peruvian Ponderosa." (You have to have been around awhile to get that reference.) I'd bypassed La Granja the evening before (see my previous review of Dumplings Mi Amor down the block) when at 7pm on a weeknight it was sad-looking and nearly empty. At noon on a weekday, though, the joint was jumping, mostly with workmen. Our group of 8 or 10 from the conference at the Hyatt across the way waded into the confusion, not knowing what or even how to order. (Picking up your order is perhaps even more bewildering.) The line to order snaked crazily through the tables, most of which were already full. But I took my cues from the workmen's plates and matched them up to the menu board's pictures. Grilled pork seemed like the popular choice, and that's the way I went. The pork itself wasn't the greatest in the world--probably slightly overcooked--but it was a sizeable piece and had surprisingly good flavor from whatever it had been marinated in. And the sides were even better--black beans and rice brought big flavor, sweet plantains were delicious, and the salsas on the table, especially a verde, were excellent. All this plus a soda was barely 15 dollars, which absolutely demolished the local competition from a value standpoint, as far as I could tell over a few days in this immediate area. read more

I have frequented La Granja in Downtown Miami during lunch breaks from work. They are a fast casual Peruvian restaurant that serves up anything from Chicken and Rice, to Lomo Saltados and Ceviche. I have always ordered either the 1/4 Chicken Lunch Special or one of their Lunch Bowls. The atmosphere is fun and very "Miami" with the blasting of reggaeton music over the speakers and the graffiti and color palette of the walls. The service is friendly and quick. They are churning out so many lunch specials that they have it down to a science at this point. The 1/4 Chicken Lunch Special features a delicious 1/4 chicken with large servings of white rice and black beans on the side. The entire plate is packed with plenty of flavor and spice and will leave you full until dinner. The Lunch Bowls are served with either chicken, pork, or steak as the protein and are served with rice, beans, corn and pepper. I have enjoyed both the chicken and pork variations of the bowl and can safely say that La Granja also does pork well! With lunch specials under $8, this remains one of the best lunch deals in the area. I will have to come and dine-in one day with one of their heavier entrée or ceviche selections and see how those are. read more

I've been eating at this location in Downtown Miami since my job relocated here 2 months ago. I love this place especially since I love Peruvian food. The place is within walking distance of my office. There is no parking except at nearby parking garages and some public street parking, but again I walk here during my lunch break. The food is freaking amazing, hot and yummy. It does get busy after 12pm to 2pm. I highly recommend going there when they open at 11am to beat the crowds. The staff is friendly and professional. This location is across the street from whole foods and chase bank. This place can get really busy around 3-closing. Now the menu is in English but when they call your number they call it in Spanish. Now if u take to long they will call your order again in English. This is a popular restaurant. After work a lot of people come here to eat. For a hot meal they have affordable options. Check out their specials. (Quarter chicken with 1 sides and a drink is about $8. For two sides it's about $10) the salad was about $4-5. The salad was so fresh. The tomato's had so much flavor. The rice and beans paired well with the sweet plantains. The chicken was fully cooked and mildly seasoned. The best part is the dipping sauce. They have plenty for you to choose from. Outside of the special and the sandwiches the platters can be a bit pricy. But those are their premium items. They have plenty of affordable options to choose from. Over all the food was fresh and tasty. My only con would be the leaks from the ceiling. Please be mindful when walking around. read more

First let's start with how great the food is here, anything that we order just taste so good. The really unfortunate part is the service, just poor customer service and lack of communication. Everytime that I go there is always an issue with the workers on white polo shirts, like they are literally the worst. Even me speaking Spanish to them they always get something wrong or they really don't care about doing a good job. They shouldn't be helping clients, they are always lost... So I walked past this place while I was exploring the area and man did it smell so good. I grabbed hubby and we dipped inside for lunch. I thought it was a restaurant but it was more of one of those hybrid fast food/restaurants. You order at the counter but your food comes out on real plates if you dine in. We really were overwhelmed, so many options on the menu, so we asked someone waiting for their take out for recommendations. Hubby ended up ordering the seafood sampler and I had the beef sautee. Hubby liked his lunch for the most part, but didn't care for the ceviche that came with it. My beef sautee came with rice and french fries. It was all so good. Absolutely excellent food here for my first lunch here in Miami. I got the Lomo Saltado and it was out of this world. This Lomo had chicken and shrimp mixed in with the usual suspects of French fries and rice and it was all quite exquisite. My server Alejandra made excellent suggestions and the fact she was passionate about the menu only made me want to order what I ordered even more. She also made my lunch a fun experience, as I was able to use my Spanish skills to make for a quirky experience and fun one. Based on this lunch I hope to be back again for another meal! read more

The girls in the front completely ignored me and continued to talk after I had asked for my pickup order and kept talking as I stood there for another 10 minutes.
