Came here with my best friend from NC after hearing and seeing about it from a YouTuber in Miami. Very mellow ambiance when you first step in. Many say they come here for the fried chicken which was one of the things we ate. When you pick on the chicken and you see lightly battered fried it is and juicy you know it's good. Absolutely delicious fried chicken and probably one of the best I had. We also had the tuna ceviche and the chaufa with shrimp. The tuna ceviche was very delicious and flavorful. Same with the Shrimp Chaufa. Absolutely flavorful and delicious. We also had the flan and it also came with a side of ice scream. It was to die for. The cream was kind of like a honey caramel with a hint of rum. Super delicious and the ice cream you can tell instantly by the freshness and the unique taste that it was homemade. 5 stars for everything as well as the service. First time I see a robot with a tray bringing in the food for the patrons. Amazing experience.

    Best fried chicken. Coleslaw

I was on vacation in Florida and I had to check this place out. This is one of those places that truly lives up to the hype. First off, we went for the lunch special and it was amazing. I ordered the fried chicken, which ended up being a half a bird with two huge sides. My husband got the Chaufa de pollo. It was delicious and the portions were so generous for a lunch special. Love the decor the simplicity of it the server was so attentive and friendly. one of our new favorite go to places when we're in Miami !!

For a drink I had a tropical Sangria. The food tasted very yummy and tasted fresh as well! There isn't a glaze on the salmon so do not expect there to be a very unique flavor. It was simple but good. I took my time with each bite to savor it. The mashed potatoes are thinner than typical mashed potatoes but are very good! The sangria was strong lol! Very yummy though as well. If you like a fruity drink I would recommend that one. The service was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner. The lighting is perfect for a nice date night! Low light but not too dim where it's hard to see. Great vibes here! I am updating my review after payment from 5 to 4 stars only because they charge for the water that they bring out but that was not at all mentioned to us. And our waiter kept bringing out bottles without asking us if we wanted more. I don't mind paying for bottled water but I would have appreciated more clarification!

Let's start with the mojito that came with such a large piece of sugar cane. It was so good! The waiter recommended my meal and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. It also came with beans and rice. One meal was probably enough for two people! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the outdoor mall near some neat shops. I loved the restaurant decor and everyone was so friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great menu recommendations. The staff was attentive, stopping by to refill our water and clear plates. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Our waitress, Marcia from Venezuela, was friendly and enthusiastic about the menu and making sure our evening was fun. We started with mojitos and a Margo-no-rita. Sugar cane and mint leaves spill out of the top of the mojitos. My wife said she didn't miss the alcohol in the Rita. We moved on to ham croquettes and empanadas. The croquettes are flavor bombs with the lime salt sending them to the next level. The empanadas are good and full of meat filling. We had 4 different entrees and shared them. My smoked pork was a tad dry but the Smokey presentation offset the texture. We did have to move the smoker off the table as it got eye irritating. I would have also liked a plate to move everything to after the wow factor. (I should have asked for one). My wife's fried fish is served whole in chunky bites. Flavored well it was great on its own. She thought the chili oil sauce had an Asian flare which felt off theme. Our friends dishes were the flank steak (good size and flavor) which was cooked to his required doneness, and the Marabu Charcoal pork. Both dishes were delicious with their sauces. Marcia suggested a fiery sauce if we liked heat. We told her to bring it and it did not disappoint. Heat at all levels left a good lingering heat for minutes. It was good with everything. We skipped dessert as we were full and chose to window shop in the mall to walk off a full belly. Highly recommend, ask for Marcia and we will be back.
