I'm pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, especially when it comes to food quality, so I was genuinely impressed with everything we ordered. The mollejas were incredibly flavorful, and the empanadas were fresh and delicious. And then came the skirt steak... wow. Cooked to a beautiful medium, it was tender and packed with flavor. The fresh-cut fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside. Our server, Flor, was an absolute doll. She was so sweet and attentive, and the rest of the staff was just as wonderful. They were constantly checking in, clearing plates as we finished, and our food came out quickly without ever feeling rushed. We absolutely loved the experience and would happily come back. Stumbled into this restaurant by chance because they weren't listed online and it's like I hit the lottery! Amazing food and exceptional service. From the outside you might be led to assume it's a seedy neighborhood bar but once you get past the billiards in the front porch, you will be delightfully surprised. They have an extensive menu consisting of all the Cuban and Central American staples for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On this trip we enjoyed their fried tacos, Salvadorean pupusas, and a beast of an appetizer called "Picada."
