It's a cute mom and pop restaurant that has about 8 different tables inside that serves traditional Cuban plates with lovely coffee and smoothie selections. The woman that runs the front is the sweetest little angel that is working non-stop to make sure you as a patron has the best experience. The wait for the food is worth it. Well, we found this place on Yelp of course so it looked like a really good place that we needed to try. We didn't have a reservation so we were worried about not being able to get a table being that the place is not that big. There was three of us so we decided to sit at two different tables that seated two people each at each table because they didn't have any other tables available. I recently attended the 2024 Calle Ocho Festival in Little Havana, and in speaking with other attendees, I kept encountering questions that centered on the same themes: What happened to the old Calle Ocho  Festival? The meat tasted sinilar to ropa vieja. It wa very tasty and the crema that came with it complimented them. Churrasco was cooked medium rare (how we wanted). The rice was buttery and addicting. I saw the Yelp reviews and decided we had to try this place since we were in Little Havana. One of the store vendors also recommended this place. The restaurant is run by a family. The mother and father cook and their daughter is the maitre d and waitress. She is very friendly and warm and very caring about her customers. We shared an order of croquettes and roasted pork with plantains and mouro (rice and beans). Everything was delicious. The place is beautifully decorated and was done by the owner. It's just the feeling of my mom's flavors at my granny's house, the perfect combination of an amazing Cuban meal with the view of the Bayshore of Havana.
