I love Spanish tapas. They have Spanish tapas and a some Cuban food. CROQUETAS CREMOSAS DEL CHEF: 6 golden crispy croquettes with 2 of each: creamy jamón, cod, and spinach filling. I appreciate the variety. Hot and fresh. Delightful! 4.5/5 TOSTA DE JAMON: Warm toasted bread with melted mozzarella and savory serrano ham. Very simple but very pleasant mouthfeel and flavor. 4/5 PULPO A LA GALLEGA: Tender Galician octopus over soft potatoes with smoked paprika and olive oil. I love octopus. This little bar was the only place opened on a Thursday night in Havana. I loved that they had tables outside and had a great happy hour menu. We ordered a rum and coke and an aperol spritz and a Cuban sandwich to share. The sandwich was very tasty and huge. The highlight of the night was the entertainment. They had karaoke night and everyone was just having a blast singing and having a good time. It was definitely a good time. We went at night and they had live music going on outside that you can hear down the street. What a vibe! Tables inside and out. We sat outside, right next to the band, and although I can be very sensitive to loud noises, I wanted to listen! The food was fabulous. I've not had very many opportunities to have Cuban food, so take my taste opinion for what you will on this one. Me, the hubs and my adult kid shared so we were able to sample quite a few things each. Personally, there were things I did and did not like. My favorite, the plantains! Came to this place two days in a row -- that's how good it was! Started off with the ceviche, then the orange chicken, and wrapped it all up with tres leches and flan. Everything was a solid 10/10. The service was great even though it was a bit loud because of the food tour group. They left after 30 minutes though. My friends and I shared food. We got the veggie sandwich, octopus, shrimp, white rice and black beans, patatas bravas and tortilla espanola. Eve griffin was great except the octopus. We randomly ended up going to this place while visiting Miami for Art Basel. We sat out front. There was good music and they had some good selections on the menu. Located in Little Havana right on the Main Street of the area, this is one of the most recommended spots to visit. It's a popular tourist spot and a stop for guided tours, so it definitely gets busy! The restaurant is cute inside. Very eclectic and bright. Not a ton of seating, but they have outdoor seating as well. It was a bit loud, but we were ok. We ordered pina colada, croquets & a Cuban sandwich! The pina colada had cinnamon, which my husband loved, but I didn't care for - the croquets, however, were delicious! I was hesitant to go to any restaurant in the LIttle Havana area because tourist type spots make me cringe. I was pleasantly surprised with higher end food choices here. So the restaurant is basically Cuban and Spanish food (mainly tapas) I loved what I ordered which was the gazpacho and the tortilla Espanola. My guests also liked what they had which where the huevos rotos and croquetas. The orange juice, and possibly other fruit juices were not a hit...those at the table that tasted it claimed it was bittersweet and had ice in it further diluting the fun. Service was spotty, with our sever not having a thorough knowledge of what the food ingredients were composed of but this is not a biggie because he did go back and ask the chef. Prices were very reasonable, tip will be automatically included. There is indoor and outside seating but the outside may have higher noise levels. Recommended. read more

The cigar shop next door was just as active as the restaurant, and you can order a cigar while you enjoy your dinner and cocktails. The restaurant itself was super small inside, so they had many tables outside for everyone. The Mexican in me was missing the spicy salsa or sauce to accompany the food. But it was good nonetheless. The people are all dressed to impress and living their best life. It was so fun to experience, and I enjoyed watching everyone dancing and having fun. Cubata is always a great option! With live music and happy hour from 4-8 pm. We like to stop to get some bites and drinks when we are around Calle 8. Whether you sit inside or outside, it's always a great vibe! We started with a Mojito and an Aperol Spritz. Both drinks were great! We then ordered the Manchego Cheese which is delicious there, a tortilla española which has the perfect texture and temperature, and some Spanish olives. Everything was delicious! Service is okay, sometimes when they are too busy, they definitely need a couple more people. But if you go early, before 6 pm, the service is better because it's not that busy. read more

I looooove this place, the live music, location and food. Brought cousin who was visiting from Atlanta and he too fell in love with the joint. We order some tapas like gambas al ajillo(shrimp in garlic sauce, the assorted croquetas, the board with ibérico and prosciutto, manchego cheese, also the ensaladilla rusa(potato salad) and the octopus which was one of my faves. They had live music, like tropical and salsa and that added the perfect ambiance for a Friday night whilst enjoying a bottle of Rioja red wine and sitting outside with perfect weather.
