This little bar was the only place opened on a Thursday night in Havana. I loved that they had tables outside and had a great happy hour menu. We ordered a rum and coke and an aperol spritz and a Cuban sandwich to share. The sandwich was very tasty and huge. The highlight of the night was the entertainment. They had karaoke night and everyone was just having a blast singing and having a good time. It was definitely a good time. So the restaurant is basically Cuban and Spanish food (mainly tapas) I loved what I ordered which was the gazpacho and the tortilla Espanola. My guests also liked what they had which where the huevos rotos and croquetas. The orange juice, and possibly other fruit juices were not a hit...those at the table that tasted it claimed it was bittersweet and had ice in it further diluting the fun. Service was spotty, with our sever not having a thorough knowledge of what the food ingredients were composed of but this is not a biggie because he did go back and ask the chef. I looooove this place, the live music, location and food. Brought cousin who was visiting from Atlanta and he too fell in love with the joint. We order some tapas like gambas al ajillo(shrimp in garlic sauce, the assorted croquetas, the board with ibérico and prosciutto, manchego cheese, also the ensaladilla rusa(potato salad) and the octopus which was one of my faves. They had live music, like tropical and salsa and that added the perfect ambiance for a Friday night whilst enjoying a bottle of Rioja red wine and sitting outside with perfect weather.
