I tried to be positive but I was starving after a long travel day from Orlando to South Florida. My daughter convinced me to check it out instead of going to any of the number of fantastic places within walking distance to where we were staying. I got a liv wrap that seemed too overpriced and a drink that also did not seem worth the price but okay, it's Miami. The drink was a special and included hibiscus tea. It was great. The wrap left a lot to be desired and mostly because it was so hot and overcooked. I couldn't really enjoy the flavor which was minimal. I kept adding salt and even asked for another side of honey lime vinaigrette but it didn't make much difference. All in all, it was mostly a miss for me.

One of our favorites was the tapioca sandwich with eggs. The tapioca is almost like a thin, white flatbread, but it's actually made from cassava starch, and I really liked the texture. We also tried the açaí, which was very good, and I loved seeing Brazilian sodas and drinks on the menu. There are so many options that I already feel like we need another visit to try more. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual and interesting. My only comment about the ambiance is that I wish the air conditioning had been a little stronger because it felt warm inside during our visit. Other than that, we had a really nice experience. The menu has a great variety, the food was good, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of the Brazilian options.
