A fun place to eat delicious cuban food, tapas and enjoy live music! The drinks are also fabulous and the staff is friendly, happy and males your night more enjoyable! We tried diff small plates and we loved them all, the kids also enjoyed the bocatas and fries! It was definitely a miami night with the 8th street vibes, salsa music and cuban flavors!

Came to this place two days in a row -- that's how good it was! Started off with the ceviche, then the orange chicken, and wrapped it all up with tres leches and flan. Everything was a solid 10/10. This is definitely a spot I'll be adding to my list of Miami go-to's anytime I'm in town. Shoutout to Guillermo -- he was great: super attentive, friendly, and really knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely wonderful and a great place to start somewhere in little Havana. They have tapas style food and Cuban sandwiches. My friends and I even saw a food tour group do a stop here. The service was great even though it was a bit loud because of the food tour group. They left after 30 minutes though. My friends and I shared food. We got the veggie sandwich, octopus, shrimp, white rice and black beans, patatas bravas and tortilla espanola. Eve griffin was great except the octopus. I'd make one off for the octopus not being good. Otherwise, it's definitely a great place.

We randomly ended up going to this place while visiting Miami for Art Basel. We sat out front. There was good music and they had some good selections on the menu. I wasn't too hungry and was just looking for something small. I ended up choosing the tostones with shredded steak on top. It was sooo good! Tasty, crunchy, and filling. It was the perfect amount. They have drink specials throughout the day so we got the $5 sangria special. I was happy when they told me they had a white sangria because that is my favorite! This place was the perfect spot for atmosphere, good food and drinks. We wanted to come back during our trip but didn't have time but this is definitely on our list the next time we come in town!

Was in Little Havana today so stopped for a bite to eat at Cubata. Was a cool little Cuban tapas spot. Now I don't drink but Lacey said it was best sangria she had ever had. Had a tapas platter that had 6 different kinds to try. The tamale was very good. Moist and flavorful. The croquets were ok. The tostone with shredded beef was delicious. The shrimp cocktail was to creamy. Over all was it was good. Definitely recommend if in the area. Oh and service was excellent

Located in Little Havana right on the Main Street of the area, this is one of the most recommended spots to visit. It's a popular tourist spot and a stop for guided tours, so it definitely gets busy! The restaurant is cute inside. Very eclectic and bright. Not a ton of seating, but they have outdoor seating as well. It was a bit loud, but we were ok. We ordered pina colada, croquets & a Cuban sandwich! The pina colada had cinnamon, which my husband loved, but I didn't care for - the croquets, however, were delicious! My husband loved the Cuban and the "fries" are reminiscent of Pik'nik chips of our childhood. Definitely glad we stopped in to try it.

Wow! We ran into this restaurant and what a pleasant surprise! We love the Tapas style since we had a big lunch and were not too hungry that night. All the dishes are delicious. There was a happy hour special on Thursday with a wide selections on the drink menu. Service was prompt and the server was very helpful on providing us suggestions from their selection. It was a smaller restaurant with outdoor seating if you prefer. A wonderful experience and highly recommended when you are in the Little Havana area.

Food was amazing. Tried a bunch of stuff. Cuban Tableta, ropa vieja tostones frijoles negros. Croquets. Great stuff. Service was amazing. Guillermo is the go to guy! Place looked super cozy

I love ceviche and it was so delicious here! I got the sample platter and I enjoyed the variety- my favorite was the ceviche with olives and cheese ball. Everything else on the platter was also very good! I got the sangria which I really liked too! Ambiance was nice, food was terrific and service was friendly.

What a super cute little restaurant in little Havana! Reservations are pretty much required unless you want to sit outside. Our server was really sweet. We started with drinks because it was happy hour. I was not impressed by the drinks - I got the mojito and it didn't have much mint flavor. The food was delicious. The Ceviche De Corvina was so fresh and tender, perfectly paired with the chips, I just wish there was more chips. The Pulpo A La Gallega was also delicious. I had never had anything like it before but the flavor balance was yummy. The Croquetas were good, would not get it again though. Also got the Cuban Sandwich with tuna. The bread was so soft. A The fillings were a perfect balance. Every bite was yummy.

The service and food were 5/5. The only thing we would suggest to better the experience and ambiance is to play latin music instead of pop as it didn't gave little havana vibes. The drinks were pretty good. Refreshing and cold perfect for a hot Miami day. We tried the meat and cheese for the table, tostone con vaca frita and croquetas de bacalao. My mom loved the croquettes so much I didn't get to taste it but according to my sister and mother they were delicious. I personally loved the tostone con vaca frita as it was fried to perfection and meat was well seasoned. Great find in calle ocho with outdoor seating perfect to enjoy delicious food and people watch.

Our first stop in Florida and it had to be little Havana! It was just after 10 p.m. so the night life was just getting started. Super small and cute place with outstanding live music, delicious food, and yummy cocktails. The cigar shop next door was just as active as the restaurant, and you can order a cigar while you enjoy your dinner and cocktails. The restaurant itself was super small inside, so they had many tables outside for everyone. The Mexican in me was missing the spicy salsa or sauce to accompany the food. But it was good nonetheless. The people are all dressed to impress and living their best life. It was so fun to experience, and I enjoyed watching everyone dancing and having fun. The music is LOUD, but I love the culture, so it didn't bother me. Great experience!

The beef was perfectly stewed and seasoned...easily the highlight of the visit * Basil duck (9/10): Fresh, crispy, and paired beautifully with the basil. Super flavorful * Fried rice (5/10): Not my favorite, but still decent overall * Pad Thai (7/10): Tasty and satisfying, just not particularly unique compared to others I've had * Passion fruit sake: Perfect balance between the sake and the sweetness of the passion fruit. Great to split between two The ambiance was fun and energetic, with great music and vibrant lighting that really set the mood. We went on a Saturday night and were initially told it would be about a 40-minute wait. They let us grab beers while we waited, and we ended up being seated in about 20-25 minutes, which was a nice surprise. Service was attentive throughout. Our water was constantly refilled and plates were cleared promptly. Overall, an exceptional and vibrant experience. Already looking forward to coming back!

The pork cheek was tender and flavourful, so we placed an extra order of it. Ibreico ham was also a must try (portion was ok). Artichoke exceeded my expectations. The service was efficient and friendly, Ken took great care of us and made sure everything flowed smoothly. The menu has a great variety and everything is beautifully presented. I started with the sweet-sauce chicken wings, perfectly crispy and full of flavor, followed by a round of tacos, some with beef, others with chicken, fresh and well balanced. I also had the chance to shake things up with an espresso martini or known as RumWake. It had all those rich coffee aromas and an interesting twist from a banana nut texture. It was good, but I still prefer the classic version. Their mojito, which I usually don't enjoy, totally surprised me, bright mint notes toned down the sweetness just right. At Mamey, they call it the "Mint Condition," and it's definitely worth a conditional try. The one drink I liked the least was the Serata, essentially an Aperol spritz with Asian gin blended with Prosecco. It felt watered down and the flavors just didn't come together for me. Overall, Mamey delivers a unique "island-minded" experience that blends flavors from the Caribbean, Asia, and Latin America. Between the beautiful setting, creative menu, great cocktails (with a couple of misses), and attentive service, it's a spot I'd come back to for both casual nights and special occasions.
