I know what you're thinking. It's a place that serves little sandwiches, how could it be that good? And among there 100 sandwiches (plus some other larger things) are items to please almost every eater. You've got some vegetarian, some fish, and an assortment of meats. And they are all really tasty. And they don't break the bank! A portion size of three is enough to fill me up. Service is mostly at the counter, but the person working told us to have a seat and gave us plastic menus and took our order. The restaurant is nice inside with plenty of tables. 100 montaditos is one of those places that you absolutely have to try especially if you love sandwiches. Forget that, if you love bread. If you love sangria. This place will give you foodgasms for days. 100 montaditos is a concept that I had just discovered in 2014, and it started in spain. I discovered it during a friend's birthday trip to Miami and within a few months, the DMV area got three locations. But in 2018, they all disappeared and the easiest way for me to access it was to travel to Miami. During my last trip I didn't get a chance to go. But I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity this time! It was my first time at this specific location, but it was just as I remembered with a few upgrades. They have bowls, they keep tabs now... I remember back in the day you had to pay as you go. There is also an option to put vegan chili in some of the montaditos. I could not resist that, and I didn't regret it at all. They also now have two sizes for Sangria pitchers, and the bigger one is insane. It's even difficult for two people to finish it. I would recommend you have three or four people if you order the largest pitcher. With 100 different options to choose from, you can have something different every time that you visit. I also appreciated how friendly the staff were -- one was from Madrid! I miss this place and hope they eventually expand again. read more

This place was unexpectedly good! We went for a quick Friday night dinner, got a bunch of smol sandwiches and some other tapas, a really satisfying meal! I think the interior can use some work but overall it's a really cheap and good bag for the buck place. They don't have servers so just order at the bar. read more

I'd been here more than a couple of times and have to say that they are a pretty good spot for a quick meal. Besides the namesake 100 sandwiches - and I believe they actually do have 100 different varieties - they have some great Spanish dishes such as huevos rotos , patatas bravas and manchego and Serrano charcuterie trays. The eggs are perfectly runny, the fries crispy and the Serrano ham subtly sweet. Speaking of sweet, I've enjoyed their churros and chocolate on those Miami sub 60 degree winter nights. Unlike American fast food spots, I've also enjoyed Mahou and sangria. Even though it's not a white tablecloth kind of spot, I have no complaints about service either. read more

Love this place, great fulfilling tapas! It depends on my mood on what montaditos I decide but they have so many options and I'm usually satisfied with my choices. You have to get the truffle fries! I usually rate almost solely on food (aka you can be just short of straight up mean to me, but if the food is good, you'll still get 5 stars), but this is a place that goes above and beyond in other ways. Everyone who works here is super nice - it feels like they are actually trying to help you out. Example - we did pickup but wanted to eat in store. They advised us that next time we could leave a note in the additional comments and they would catch it and plate it so that it wasn't in take out containers. Salads / bowls these days are regularly $17 at other spots - these salads are all under $12, and they're very generous with everything. I usually go for the avocado chicken, shrimp, or steak here. Love the variety of mini sandwiches available, something for everyone. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The Spanish tortillas is delicious, and if unable to eat it all - excellent leftover. Man so I thought I had a coupon for a Greek restaurant but it turns out they were closed even though they were on Google Maps. So I'm walking around the area and I really didn't feel like losing my wallet at one of these restaurants and I really didn't want to hit up Tap 42 for the umpteemth time. That's when BOOM: I walk into this place. WTH is a montadito? Well I took one look at menu prices and I was sold: I had to find out. The way this place works is that your order your food and drinks first and then you sit down, so make sure to tip as it's not just a take out spot. Each montadito is a mini sandwich on a baguette and they have scores of different meats, cheeses, sauces, other and specials. But they also have a huge menu with a variety of other options. I would watch out for the Chorizo platter, however , it wasn't what I was expecting, it was like those mini sausages you eat of a can. I suppose if your nostalgic for that sort of thing it might be your cup of tea, but for me it felt like I was eating dog food. read more

I started noticing time and time again that messing up my order was a consistent thing. I really like their food and this is one of my favorite places to order from after a long day. HENCE why I kept ordering. Today, my order was completely botched. Below you will see on the left what I ordered and on the right is what I actually received: Hot dog - hamburger Calamari with aioli - calamari with guac? (Maybe mashed avocado) Tuna - egg on bread (wtf?) Turkey - pulled pork maybe?? The time before this, I got a random assortment of sandwiches as well and I brushed it off. NEVER AGAIN. Was wondering around to have a meal before hitting the gym and bumped into this little place. Very impressed with the food was more of a feel at home kind of meal I had the steak with rice and fries and my lady had the chicken with quinoa and fries both meals were nice and feeling but also for the prices great portions. Went in for lunch on a busy Sunday. The place was very lively with many European soccer games on. I ordered the Cuban with fries (it comes with chips) and my companion had the avocado salad and beers. The sandwich was OK, the meat was a little sparse and the roll was adequate but not pressed.
