Beef Pabellon Arepa, Tequeños and beef empanada.

Tried this place for the first time. As a natural born Venezuelan coming from a house of great Venezuelan cooks, this place did not disappoint! The food was amazing, fresh and delicious! The staff was friendly too and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming with Venezuelan products and decor, made it feel like a little piece of home away from home. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

Churrasco arepa con yuca frita $15, $10

The food had good flavor and cooked well. Service was good and helpful. But the value is horrible. $36 for an arepa, yuca frita, and an iced coffee. My biggest complaint is paying $15 for a steak arepa with 4 or 5 bite size pieces on the top and the rest was filled with cheese and tomato. Either lower the price or add twice as much meat. It is a cute little spot and would be a nice place to sit, have a bite, work on my computer but the prices will keep me away.

They have a variety of Venezuelan food. Everything is made fresh so expect to wait a bit for your food. This place is a locals favorite especially Uber and Lyft drivers. They have tables for dining but a lot of customers grab food to go.

Damn this was good. Been a while since I've had a good arepa and this hit the spot. The shredded chicken mixture in the empanada (also a nada-based shell) was also delicious. Awesome spot for a quick bite.

Yeah, let's just update my review with another 5 star score. I love consistency, it's just arepas, but they are always on point, and a good size for the price. Ive had late night arepas, lunch, take out, no exceptions, always delicious.. On my recent visit this week i had a chicken arepa & tequenos :)

The food here is phenomenal, I literally crave the stuffed arepas from here sometimes. And great for when you want to get late night bites because this place is open to 4am and conveniently located next to Lagniappe and close to Midtown/Wynwood area. The place is decorated with fun wallpaper designs - and is counter service.

Visited this place a couple of years ago! And remembered coming back to it twice. However, on this recent visit to Miami I couldn't remember the name and had to search for photos on my phone, and based on list of "Best Arepas in FL" this place ranked #3 and the decor inside confirmed my previous visit. Vibrant and colorful yet homey on the inside, this place offers an authentic taste of Venezuelan food. The cook herself was very sweet and is someone you can tell knows what she's doing in the kitchen. There's a lot to choose from and the menu itself can be a little overwhelming but I'd ask the front host her thoughts on what's delicious or what she's recommend. We got some appetizers the tostones con queso but honestly, I'd pass. Cheese on top of a plantain? I'd suggest they do a little more with this like over beans in between or some kind of sauce or protein. The other dish was these cheese cachapas which were delicious! The dipping sauce they offered for this specifically complimented it well, and their aji based chili sauce went well with them too. I got a Reina Pepiada arepa and it was delicious and just as good as I remembered from a few years back. However, I feel like the sizing may have shrunk since my last visit. Overall, I did enjoy the food and would definitely come back again to try something different.

A nice-looking hole-in-the-wall hidden just a block away from bustling Biscayne Boulevard. We tried four different arepas, some of which were better than others. The shredded beef and cheese, chicken pabellon, and chicken avocado salad were all good. The shredded chicken with avocado had the drawback of being stuffed first with chicken and then avocado, so that each bite had only one of the fillings and not both. They have an assortment of sauces tableside that you can try if you eat in. We had to take ours to go unfortunately. As a bonus, their decor is very bright and inviting, which is a nice plus.

Super cute spot! Open till 4am on Friday's and Saturday's so it's a great spot to grab a quick bite before or after an outing! They have items like arepas, empanadas, traditional small bites, and bowls. They also have a fridge full of items you can purchase and take home. Order at the counter, take a seat and they'll bring the food to you. Small space with limited seating inside an outside. Enjoy!

Cute decor Latin food with an espresso machine. But virtually EVERYTHING was FRIED. The shredded beef arepas was delicious. But $10 I think is a little steep. The bean and chicken arepas was good also, lots of fillings. Yuca fries were legit soaked in oil... hence super crispy. But I can feel my pores The cheese roll thingy was DEF an acquired taste. Left untouched Empanadas was SUPER greasy and too sweet Overall: interesting Latin dish that I wanted to try, workers are nice, probably won't come back again due to the overtly sweetness and greasiness.

It's always such a pleasure coming here! I brought my friends who live in Tennessee today and they fell in love with Gabriela, the food and the atmosphere. This is such a perfect spot to enjoy great food with top quality service. Absolutely recommended

I've been seeing La Latina all over instagram and opted to pick up for lunch recently. I was not disappointed. Tuckeda way just beyond Wynwood this super cute Venezuelan spot is serving up some delicious arepas. I opted for the pabellon arepa which is filled with beef (or chicken), cheese, plantains and black beans. It was a huge portion and also super yummy. We also got tequenos to share. Both orders came with your choice of cilantro or garlic sauce. I obviously ordered both and was so happy that I did! This is the perfect spot for authentic Venezuelan fare that does not break the bank.

I read that when in Miami, trying an arepa was a must and that this was the place to do it. Covid-19: you can order and pay online. They have a couple of tables outside which we decided to eat at since no one was around. I've had many arepas before. They are always hit or miss for me. Some are really good, but some are dry. These ones are a huge hit for me. We got Tequeños, the Cheese & Sweet Plantains Arepa with Guayanés, and the Asado Negro & Cheese Arepa with Queso De Mano. Everything was amazing. We wanted more and should have gotten more. I had never had tequeños before, but I will be getting these every time I see them. They're filed with cheesy goodness. The arepas were the best I've ever had. They were not at all dry. The cheese was thick and so flavorful. We loved the meat. Overall this was in the top 2 places we ate in Miami and I can't recommend it highly enough.

This place was packed , alive and energetic. Customers were lined up waiting and honestly were enjoying themselves while waiting with family, friends and significant others. I was with a group of 5 , waited on the outside while having a nice cold IPA and was seated in about 10 minutes. Service was amazing. Very kind , attentive and delivered with smiles on their faces. Food was nothing short of amazing. The Picanha steak was one of the best steak i have had in a very long time. Served medium rare with a char and simply delicious. I will go out and say this... the desert was one of the best i have ever had. I will leave it at that until you see the picture and come try for yourself. My hats off to the amazing staff for this amazing experience and delicious food.

This is a great steak house with great food and it is well priced. Service was excellent too. The stand out dishes were: -Amara Ceviche - refreshing, delicious and the toasted corn and sweet potato were a nice touch -Empanadas - highly suggest getting the set of 3 as each one comes with a different sauce and it was nice getting to try different combinations. Our favorite was the cheese and caramelized onions, the sweetness from the onions were really nice -Churrasco steak - nice chargrilled flavor although they seem to cook it lighter so maybe ask for medium if you want medium rare. The fries were perfect -Arroz Verde - delicious Latin inspired breakfast with the rice, beans, sweet plantains and salsa criolla Most importantly, our server Sebastian was the absolute best! We specifically requested outdoor seating and arrived at 6 p.m., knowing Happy Hour was until 7 p.m. Once seated, we were told Happy Hour only applies indoors--not outside! We asked to speak with the manager, who simply pointed out that their website states Happy Hour is limited to the "main dining area." From a guest's perspective, the outdoor space feels like the main dining area, and this restriction should be made MUCH clearer. In our experience, Happy Hour normally applies to the restaurant--not just one section. If you're looking for a good Happy Hour spot, DON'T COME HERE! Other observations: 1. Food was good but overpriced--$27 for ceviche and $29 for tuna avocado toast! 2. Surprisingly empty for a Friday evening. A weekend DJ would add much-needed energy. 3. They only have a DJ on Sundays, and their monthly Latin band event has no à la carte option. It's just the Brunch option. I can't eat $85+ of food!!! Will I be going back anytime soon? NO!

The server was phenomenal, and the food tasted great, though portions run a little small for the price. One thing that caught me off guard: most of the table ordered tacos and enchiladas, but when the plates arrived, the "tacos" were essentially flautas and the "enchiladas" were more like tacos (the photo shown is the enchiladas). Naming aside, both dishes were delicious. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff sang for her and brought out a complimentary dessert--hands down the best brownie dessert I've ever had. The drinks were good, the food came out hot, and the ambiance was wonderful, with friendly, kind staff throughout. What did we order? Chorizo Queso: Not your traditional dipping queso, but FULL of flavor and the chorizo was great, decent portion. The table loved this. Comes with some warm fresh purple corn tortillas! 9/10 Guacamole: Nothing extraordinary, standard guac, I wish there was more guac and chips! The tortillas these come with are the same as the queso but fried and uncut. A little different but it was a nice change! 7/10 Chicken and Chorizo Enchiladas: Not your standard enchilada that you may be used to! Full of flavor though and everything was cooked very well! 8/10! Drinks: 10/10 Fair warning: expect a bit of sticker shock when the bill arrives.
