I'm so happy I found this place! It's a small cafe in downtown that everyone needs to know about. Or not so I can always get a seat haha. It's very open inside with soft music playing. The staff was all very nice and super attentive. I got the half panini and half salad which was great portion sizes for the price. The boo got a cheeseburger and fries and said they were great! Also they partnered with a local run club and all proceeds of the featured drink went towards sponsoring the club to run the Chicago Marathon! We love community partnerships!

I can tell this is an underrated spot, but it's a IYKYK kind of situation. Mina has been open downtown since 2016, kind of by Space. It's pretty hidden in a strip mall. They have parking!! The menu focuses on arepas, tequenos, empanadas, salads, and sandwiches. They have fresh juice too. They have good lunch specials and fun pop ups like burgers and tacos. Great spot for a laid back and affordable lunch.

Caesar salad and fries, came with my lunch special.

I had planned to get my order to go, but when I saw there was plenty of space to sit, I decided to stay and eat. I got the mushroom burger from the lunch special, and it was really good. I had actually ordered the wrong thing on Uber Eats--I thought I had selected the lunch special but ended up just ordering a burger. Even though it was my mistake, the staff was so kind and still gave me the lunch special. I really appreciated how accommodating they were!

Sweet and spicy burger Daily Special - A tray contains a burger with a soft bun, fries, a small mixed salad with greens and sprouts, and two small cups of condiments—ketchup and a creamy sauce—on a white table at Mina Bistro in Miami, FL. A glass of water and a black wallet are also visible on the table.

This placed is located in downtown miami! It's located downstairs from Park place. I lived there for about 8 years and this place has never let me down. The service is friendly and nice. The esthetics feel like a Internet cafe/Starbucks but it looks nice and clean inside. I usually only order Pepitos (chicken/steak...no ketchup & mustard with extra garlic and cilantro). The Pepitos are Amazingly delicious. I definitely recommend this place. You might want to try it now before the World center is built because the line may be out the door.

    Divinas empanadas

Came here for a quick lunch! Mina Bistro is super cute, and the staff was incredibly friendly, and gave me lots of drink and food recommendations. However the coffee was watered down, and the meal itself wasn't amazing, there just wasn't a lot of flavor, and not a lot of filling in the empanada.

Mina is a short five minute walk from my office building so I often go for lunch and order the lunch special. They have a different lunch special everyday of the week, usually under $10. Great food, great service and great prices!! As my team and I got often we've become quite familiar with the staff which are super friendly and attentive!! Definitely recommend to anyone if you're in the area.

Signature Pepito - A sandwich featuring shredded cheese, lettuce, and other ingredients on a baguette is placed on parchment paper on a metal table. The background shows a small potted plant, cups of water, and a metal container, indicating an outdoor cafe setting. The sandwich appears freshly prepared with a generous topping of cheese and vegetables.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered the Pepito with both steak and chicken, including all the toppings (onions, ketchup, mayo, mustard, garlic sauce, cilantro sauce, potato sticks, and cheese). First, this sandwich is loaded -- all of the toppings listed mix well and leave you with immense joy (seriously). Second, the chicken and steak were tender, cooked to perfection. Whenever I'm back in Miami, I'll be back here. Price: 4/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Steak Pepito - A sandwich with shredded cheese, vegetables, and sauce is served on a piece of parchment paper on a white table at Mina Bistro in Miami. The table also has a plastic cup with a cold beverage, a tall green vase with flowers, and sunglasses. The background shows a bright, modern interior with other patrons and white chairs.

The restaurant is super quaint and clean, the service is very friendly as well. The food is absolutely amazing, I definitely recommend the Steak Pepito!

A bug in my salad - The image shows a small insect on a brown surface, surrounded by leafy greens and food crumbs. A white plastic utensil is visible in the background, indicating the setting might be a dining area or food preparation space. The insect appears to be a tiny arachnid or insect, and the scene includes food remnants and a textured surface.

I used to order here all the time till today. Look what was in my salad. Disgusting. I have never experienced something like this before. Don't order here!

Came here a few days ago on vacation with my fiancee and we enjoyed ourselves. I had the Pepito ( I'm greedy I got the chicken and steak selection lol) and crunchy arepas my fiancee had their avocado panini. Everything thing was flavorful, the staff was kind, we definitely comeback on our next trip.

Today, while waiting for something to print at Office Depot, I was searching for a nearby brunch spot when it popped up in my search & I'm so glad I did! First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot. Everything was spotless, and I don't usually call that out because it should be a given, but the restroom was impressively clean. Like extra clean. I also just learned they have multiple locations now, which is amazing. Well deserved. I can't wait to go back, and I wish them continued success.

One time, I had a mix-up with the menu when ordering a pepito--I misunderstood how it was labeled--but the team handled it immediately and with zero hesitation. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with attention to detail. The atmosphere is just as impressive. The space has a fun, energetic vibe that fits perfectly with Wynwood, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. What really makes it special, though, is the staff--everyone is always smiling, welcoming, and genuinely seems happy to be there. That kind of positive energy says a lot and makes the whole experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service--definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

We also ordered the beef soup, which could have used a bit more flavor, and the Holiday plate, which was okay but not something that stood out. The double cheeseburger and an arepa were also just okay and probably not dishes we'd order again. Unfortunately, we also ordered the pepito mixto, but it never arrived because our waiter forgot to place the order. Service overall was a bit slow, and the atmosphere felt a little quiet--some music would really help improve the ambience. That said, the salad, plantains and juices alone would bring us back. We'd definitely return for those.

Super crispy, golden, and totally addictive. You'll say you're just gonna try a few... mentira. You'll crush the whole thing before you're halfway through your arepa. Can't miss the toppings like alioli, garlic, guasacaca, spicy, or the Venezuelan punch, tartar sauce. Now let's talk billete: the price is a ganga. For what you get, massive portions, flavor for days, and that homemade feel, it's honestly a steal. In this part of Miami? That's a miracle with guasacaca on top. Plus, the crew? Unos cracks. The guy working the register immediately greeted me and was very helpful. I got the crookie and something called a Santiago cake which he described as a gluten free cinnamon flavored cake with almond flour. The crookie was tasty, the croissant was nice and soft, but I thought it was overly chocolately. There are a few types of chocolate chips in the cookie itself and it seems like they might even put Nutella in the croissant part too. Either way it was great to try it, but just a lot for one person to eat. The Santiago cake was pretty good too. It definitely tastes like cinnamon but unlike the crookie, it could have used a bit more flavor and could be a little more moist. Definitely worth trying both of these unique desserts, just not a must visit for me again.
