Pistachio Croissant - IG: @thegreenberggang

Cute little bakery and restaurant in Miami. I was in Miami for the day and wanted to find one of the previously viral cookie dough croissants, or crookies. We happened to be nearby so I just decided to stop by and pick one up. The place is cute and stylish. It was early afternoon so only one other couple was there. The guy working the register immediately greeted me and was very helpful. I got the crookie and something called a Santiago cake which he described as a gluten free cinnamon flavored cake with almond flour. The crookie was tasty, the croissant was nice and soft, but I thought it was overly chocolately. There are a few types of chocolate chips in the cookie itself and it seems like they might even put Nutella in the croissant part too. Either way it was great to try it, but just a lot for one person to eat. The Santiago cake was pretty good too. It definitely tastes like cinnamon but unlike the crookie, it could have used a bit more flavor and could be a little more moist. Definitely worth trying both of these unique desserts, just not a must visit for me again.

This is hands down the most delicious Venezuelan food I've had in Miami! Everything tastes homemade, and you can really tell it's all made fresh in-house. The service is especially great when the manager or owner is around, adding a personal touch to the experience. It's truly a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Venezuelan flavors--everything from the empanadas and cachapas to the arepas, steak, and desserts is absolutely delicious.

This is such a cute Venezuelan coffee shop/ cafe! I stopped here after church for a quick snack and a coffee. I asked which iced coffee they recommended and I went with the dirty chai. It tasted like a milkshake, it was so good and sweet with a taste of cinnamon. It was a bit thicker than a regular coffee. To eat, I had the tuna fish arepa. It said on the menu it was a must get. The arepa was warm and soft and their fresh tuna salad had great flavor (could have put less mayo). The heavy taste of scallion made it so delicious. They service is pretty fast and friendly. Its quite small inside, and they have limited outdoor seating.

Miami has become a second home for a large part of the Venezuelan diaspora and the culinary competition can be vast, but rest assured that you will have one of the best Venezuelan meals in this small and cozy restaurant. Everything I have a tried (reina pepiada, cachapas, tequeños, empanadas) has been phenomenal and true to our original flavors. Even though I would eat here everyday (no joke) I have selectively gone during brunch time on the weekends to calmly enjoy everything and wrap it up with a good coffee. This last time "La gochita" took care of us and she was very pleasant and accommodating, something you may not see everywhere in Miami. Kudos one of the best Venezuelan restaurants in Miami with curiously the least Venezuelan related name!

I wanted to love this place but it fell a little short for me. The food was good and the service was also good but I just wasn't wowed. I will say it felt very authentic. I loved the papelon and the sauces on the table reminded me of every Venezuelan small town restaurant but I still didn't love it.

Golden milk latte, must try! Delicious

I cannot stop raving about this place. Food this good in Miami should be 3x the price, relatively. Be patient with their service, this is a small restaurant with small staff. Feel lucky to get a table. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FOOD! The empanadas are huge, full of flavor and made to order- for the same price as the tiny, cheap crap that's under hot plates at most all the other places with empanadas around here. Cute atmosphere, staff is super friendly and kind. Food is plated so beautifully. We will be back, again and again, whenever in Miami. Thank you!!!!

Today we were there because it is the Venezuelan restaurant closest to home, we returned after almost two years of the last time. I know that many influencers go to eat there and speak well of the restaurant because of course they eat for free and of course they are presented with other kinds of food but we do pay for the food and we know about Venezuelan food and we do not have to speak well to eat for free.. Wow, what a bad experience to eat. 1- The girl who approached the table was Argentine. Nothing wrong with that but of course she did not know the menu at all and she did not know much about Venezuelan food.. the first dish we ordered was venezuela Pabellón with rice and black beans.. the beans were super salty and the meat too The food looked fresh but super salty. But then we ordered an arepa pepiada and another arepa peluda, a meat empanada and another cheese one... the arepa pepiada tasted like 1 cent mayonnaise, the quality was terrible, the arepa peluda looked like soup inside the arepa (look at the photos) and the empanadas had a horrible dough, the cheese on the empanada was so salty that it was almost impossible to eat. Apart from that we waited almost an hour for the food, you can tell there is only one person working in the kitchen while the manager was playing on the phone. The worst thing for me personally was the glasses where they serve the water smelled like eggs, I had to ask for fresh water and plastic cups. It really sucks, you can tell they are on their last legs considering how little they do. But really, how can you go back there if the restaurant is really really bad now? I don't know 100% but I think the cook is not Venezuelan...

I came to eat brunch with a friend and it was pretty full today we arrived around 12pm. There was only two two-tops left and we sat in the booth. A server came to greet us with menus and I asked for a Diet Coke. She returned with a Diet Coke and we looked at the menu. A different server then came to take our order. My friend ordered a Mojito, it didn't arrive until 12:45pm. We had ordered mini cachapas (appetizer) and two arepas (perrico + egg, ham + ch.). Around 1pm I asked another server where our food was, she had an attitude and said "the restaurant was busy". Then another server came and I asked again, she said she didn't have our order and the only thing we had ordered was a Diet Coke. I explained that another server had come to take our order. She still didn't apologize and she said "I'll put it in now and it should be out in 10-15 min". The servers are all dressed the same, no name tags so it was really hard to find out who it was that took our menus and order. We didn't leave because she said to give her another 10-15 min so we didn't leave. The food came out in 15 min and it was okay but still no apology, nothing comped, weren't even offered a coffee or pastry for the wait and the mistake ON THEIR END. We paid the bill in full, even left a tip but won't be returning and I suggest you go when it's not as busy.

Venezuelan Breakfast

Amazing! Moved into the area recently and decided to check this spot out. It's a quaint place with some outside seating too. Menu is fairly extensive, with a breakfast and lunch menu. The portions were all generous, so come hungry and be prepared! Food was delicious and already looking forward to going back and trying more!

Venezuelan Breakfast + Cheese Cachapa

I finally tried something other than the breakfast croissant and I am officially obsessed with this lil Venezuelan spot near my house! I got the Venezuelan breakfast which comes with your choice of beef or chicken, mini arepas, black beans, avocado, eggs cooked your way (fried, scrambled, over easy) and sweet plantains! You get all of the best Venezuelan samples in one breakfast dish. 10/10. As for the cachapa, it's the best I've ever had. I'm no Venezuelan but I've tried several and none compare to the one here.

Chocolate cookie Croissant

Cute little neighborhood spot. My partner and I have heard great things about this place and finally got a chance to stop in. The food was flavor full and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely be back to try their dinner menu.

The service was bad, actually the waiter was fair to ok, but the bleach blonde older server consumed the air out of the room. She was grumpy, not engaging, and when she spoke her voice was so deep and off putting that it frightened me. The culinary offerings, reminds me of a hospital cafeteria from the 80s/90s . The worst part was the theming and lack of ambiance. It felt like a seedy nightclub or raggedy adult club you have to take a shower after leaving. I had to apologize to wife for such a poor experience. Bad husband! Also, I believe the operation was being managed or run by a small family of 4/5 people with no hospitality, culinary, or service experience. Finally, for $100, I never have to go there again.
