We ate here on the middle day of our stay in Miami Beach. It was within walking distance of our hotel. They bill themselves as a sports bar, and maybe that is more the case if you sit inside. We opted to sit out on the sidewalk / patio in front. The inside appeared to be fairly large, so that might be better dining option overall. The 10 or 12 tables they have outside are okay - there is an awning to provide shade and when we visited it was in the evening so heat / sun wasn't a huge issue. However, it got pretty windy outside while we were there. Also, you are technically on the sidewalk, so pedestrians, cyclists, and electric scooter riders zip in between the two rows of tables. None of this was a huge issue, but if you want to have more control over your dining environment, inside might be a better choice. The menu provided quite a variety - sandwiches, a bit of pasta, fish, meat, salads, etc. I think any party would have a good chance of satisfying everyone. My wife opted for fish and I got a burger. We both enjoyed our food and had leftovers as well (which ended up being part of the next night's dinner). They also had a full bar; the drink pricing seemed pretty good given the standards of this area. If you are just looking for a standard (or slightly better) American bar food dinner, this is a solid choice. read more

I ordered something basic to go safe which was honey barbecue chicken wings. They were very dry. I could only eat a couple. I also ordered the conch as an appetizer. It wasn't that good. It gave me indigestion quickly. I tried both the sangrias. It was not good. It taste like cheap wine so me and my husband got a headache. Basically the restaurant made us have an early night. We arrived into Miami Saturday 4/18/26 and were so hungry and went to dinner around 10ish pm and were attended right away all was good until the lady worker with the lady with blonde hair was putting table napkins with fork and knife together and dropped it right in front of us and dropped a fork and picked it up and just put it back in the cloth napkin,wtf!! Obviously she has no remorse or care for all the dirtiness of the floor and about patrons because I work medical field and no matter what that is cross contamination and she shouldn't be allowed to work the and all it takes one person to get a great establishment shut or customers from entering. My husband and I sat outside and had a nice dinner with a friendly waitress. The appetizer (conch) was a little overcooked but the entrees were good. It's a sports bar with pool tables inside but outside it's like a sidewalk cafe. They do automatically add 18% tip to your bill. read more

Neighborhood hang out...big menu...but all that?Norman's is the go-to restaurant in "our" Fl. neighborhood . Big menu of sandwiches and wraps,but nothing that really catches my appetite. They are trying to stay relevant with karaoke, ladies' nights and other activities, which is fun. It will be good to keep an eye out for more of these things. We went for a meal (which was forgettable I am afraid) and a happy hour drink. SPOILER ALERT, happy hour is 4-7 pm in many places around Miami. These prices look good, but you can get a much better cocktail for the cost of the $6 House Shot out there. I promise. In all, if I was a tourist looking for generic tavern food, this would be just fine. If I was looking for something that was really unique, I would walk a bit further. read more

I stopped by here while staying in North Beach Miami for a casual business meeting and was just right. This is your standard American sports bar, with ample seating indoors as well as outdoor seating. They also have pool tables, making for a good hangout spot, which was evident by the crowds I saw there later that evening. For me, their biggest attraction was their happy hour deal with $3 beers, $8 cocktails, and $6 apps. Their wings were solid and their burger was very good. The bartender was okay. She was absorbed in one customer who looked like a big spender, so I can empathize - got to get that money. Overall, it was a solid experience, and a spot I would head to again for Happy Hour or to meet some locals. read more

A nice upscale tavern with tons of tvs to catch up on the games a nice bar in one end, pool tables and tons of high top tables as well as a nice outdoor area. The service? Tonight it was excellent. There is street parking and you can park in the lot to the north but must get authorization from the restaurant. The food was excellent and well priced. The mahi was fresh and nicely grilled you can pick 2 side. I got the mashed potatoes and the house salad. The salad as side is usually an afterthought and not plentiful. This a legit large bowl with spinach's, grape tomatoes, croutons, onions and black olives. Served with N excellent balsamic Vinaigrette. The mashed potatoes were also excellent served with a side of gravy but they tasted great in their own. They have tons of bar bites also so a good spot for a beer munchies and football. Please do not stay at the hotel here. I came to Miami for a conference traveling alone and I have been treated horribly. I got locked out so it made me late for my conference. Management refused to answer the phone to assist me promptly after I told him i was late for my conference. He wanted to only text and was demanded to verify my ID after I told him I was locked out without my things. I yelled for "help and hello" and help hoping anyone could help me in and a waitress let me in. He was so rude and I threaten with a bad review so then he kicked me out on the street and denied me a refund and said management was very happy with the way the handled the situation read more

If you love delicious bar food (like me!), Norman's is a must-try. I ate here long ago before a concert next door at the Sandbox, but this time was much more memorable. The outdoor seating is a must do on a cool summer night. Although they did not have any alcoholic seltzers on their menu, once I asked, they did have a Playboy Seltzer, which was new. It was great and refreshing. To accompany the seltzer, I got the wings and nachos- amazing. The wings were so crispy, without me even having to ask. We asked for the sauce on the side, as we had many different favorites at our table. When one of our guests asked for hot sauce, the server brought out a whole caddy of different types for us to try. The nachos are unique, as they had a cheese sauce, chili, pico, and some jalapeños. They were fresh, just as much as the wings. Norman's Tavern is a typical sports bar, with pool tables, tvs everywhere and classic American food. After being there for my first time I saw they have pretty good happy hour deals, definitely going to check it out one of these days. In addition the service was very friendly and the prices match the quality of the food. The food quality is decent. My friend ordered the Skirt Steak medium rare but it came out well done, which is a red flag for a restaurant selling different cuts. The Philly cheese stake seemed uneven, the portion of the meat did not fill in the bread. Either give more meat or give a smaller bread. Despite these errors the food was adequate for the setting and price. Overall it was a good experience, however I'll be back for happy hour when the Heat game is playing. read more
