We landed in Miami last night and wanted to go somewhere close to the hotel. This was across the street and there were a lot of folks at the patio bar area at 1130 at night. We walked over and took a look at the menu and it had a good selection! We sat down at the table but then quickly went to the bar to order drinks. We waited for a few minutes because it was busy and noisy (the music was really loud that I couldn't hear the bartender or my table at all). For drinks; two sex on the beach, an old fashioned, and this one isn't on the menu but I requested an espresso martini. Very good drinks but also strong. For food; he got the chicken arugula and I got the shrimp pasta. Well portioned and tasty. read more

Not sure what the bad reviews are about, traveling from out of town, I had a great experience there, the bartender was absolutely wonderful, she made me custom-made lemonade, the burger was really good, and the atmosphere was awesome with the out door bar with some great music playing. read more

Not sure why this place has 3 stars but let me tell you my experience. First the price for what you get. Easy 5 stars. The pizza alone is enough for 3-4 adults and very good. The salmon was good but the rice and vegetables were outstanding. The mahi tacos were great and the fries were worth it. Calamari and coconut shrimp were pretty standard. The drinks were good for the price. Service was one of the best. My friend dropped his fork and before he could pick it up our server had already walked over with another one. The music was also outstanding with every song being a hit. Again, I can't speak to the other experiences but for me this one rated 5 stars read more

Austin welcomed me and helped me select a seafood dish. With his recommendation I selected it. The seafood pasta was excellent! Not too spicy, but delicious. Shrimp, mussles, calamari yum! I sat outside where TVs were around if I wanted to watch. The bread and salad were great. An easy place to stop and get a bite of food and for a decent price. Next time I'm in town I will definitely stop by. My order was taken and arrived quicker than I expected - wonderful! This place is sad! I Came in with a party of 6 and we've been waiting for our food for over an hour! Me and my coworker ordered chicken wings and it was almost 30 minutes before the server came out to let us know that they were air of wings! My brother ordered a slice of Snickers pie, and he ask for them to bring that out...the server brought some stale chips and salsa as an apology 2 other in our party order their food to go and plates came out not to go. The bbq sauce they have on it tastes house made so it definitely gives it this original rodeo house kinda taste the pickles were crunchy is and fresh . Um there are a few other good things here they just didn't last long enough for a photo ok the Philly egg rolls are good , the lemon pepper with and ask for the honey on the side it's a must try um the margaritas are also really the. Good the orginal and the spicy jalapeno as well . The fries here are delicious. I also like the way that it's kinda on the corner but it not you'll just have to check out . Great ambiance in the outdoor courtyard. Coconut shrimp were decent but the Thai sauce seemed it was from a bottle. I had the mahi. It was dry, and lacked flavor. Probably not fresh. My friend didn't enjoy the shrimp tacos either. The location is perfect. Drinks were ok but they do have a great happy hour (50% off drinks). They just need better quality and flavorful food. I went to see the Nutcracker and Adrienne Arsht doesn't have any restaurants so I took a walk here and the server was incredible and super friendly, fast and accommodating! He recommended the chicken Marsala and it was perfect and delicious! The sauce was excellent and the chicken was juicy! I wish I were going home so I could take the left over pasta with me! Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The food was passable for bar food, but a man came in with a small dog which is allowed in outdoor restaurants in Miami. The wait staff and then the management was extremely rude in trying to kick him out. I was overhearing the entire conversation and it turned into an ugly situation largely because of the rudeness of the management. I googled the laws to make sure I understood it, and then I defended the man, the management turned on me and was extremely rude in arguing with me. I tried to show them what I uncovered, and they weren't interested. In the end, I think they were just being racist since the man was black. I would NEVER go there again. read more

This is the worst Bar ever. It's dirty, they don't allow service dogs inside, it smells like vomit, and the food is horrible.

We just sat at the outdoor bar for a quick bite and a couple of beers, as it was a scorching day and we did a lot of walking downtown. They don't have a lot of choices for draft beers and the mozzarella sticks were as "industrial" as they can be. The worst part and the reason I won't be back is that not only do they add the tip automatically (a lot of places do that in Miami but I expect to be told, it's about transparency and honesty), but not only they don't tell you hoping you miss it and add more, but the most ridiculous thing is that they typed "voluntary gratuity" to the tip they added without asking. At least don't call it "voluntary", considering it was a 20% tip forced on the customer - again - without informing. read more

This place is just a few blocks north of the Adrienne Arsht Theater, adjacent to the Margaret Pace Park (by the sea): a nice location, although parking is difficult to find. The layout is particular and nice: an outdoor small sports bar all under a big arch. However, besides the fact that it may not be appealing to people who suffer the Floridian heat, the bar is very small, and you can't have a good view of the TVs from all the seats - if watching a sport game is the reason you're there. We only ordered a couple of beers and mozzarella sticks. They don't have a wide selections of beers at all, and the mozzarella sticks were just the worst I had (so we decided not to order anything else). The waitress was nice and prices are decent considering the area, but the "Voluntary Gratuity" on the check really upset me: sure, generally speaking I don't like at all the concept of the nowadays common "automated gratuities" on the bills, but calling voluntary a "mandatory" gratuity is just too stretched. One of the only places open late night around the condo we were staying at, convenient. Good music. The table was shaking from the uneven floor. The cup my mojito was in was shaking like it had a crack at the bottom. Mojito was watered down and had way too much mint. It has a casual vibe with outdoor seating. A prime location for people watching. I ordered the chips with salsa & guacamole. I also had the classic pizza which was large enough to share with other hungry cyclists. Service was particularly slow one night. My Caesar salad w/ shrimp arrived after my party had paid their checks. In fact, I received my check before I received my food. Ok so several issues with this place -- I was charged a "voluntary" tip that was actually involuntary to pick up takeout and I found that high key unethical -- maybe illegal? I thought obligatory tipping was only allowed for dining in and for parties of 6 people or more??? I ordered cacio e Pepe pasta from here and not only does it look cheap and poorly made but the taste was bland and did not taste like cacio e pepe at all. I'm so disappointed that after spending $62 on food here it was very subpar. The mozzarella sticks ordered were the only decent meal so far. The Fra Diavolo had slightly better taste compared to the cacio e pepe but really don't ever spend the $18 it costs for it. You can literally make your own and probably even make it ten times better than what they serve you here. I feel like I got scammed. read more

I went here with a group of 7 while visiting for my best friend's birthday. It was conveniently located across from where we were staying so we decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly which was nice because we didn't have any reservations and just walked in. They had couches with tables which were comfortable because I was tired. They were playing good music the vibe was nice but the highlight of the whole dining experience was our server Moses. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. He gave us suggestions on his favorites from the menu for both food and drinks. He was very attentive and checked on us the whole time making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring all of our orders were correct. The pizza he suggested was very good and I was happy with my order. Overall all Moses service was the highlight of the visit to Opera House. If you visit try and get him as your server you will be very happy. read more

We ordered fish and chips and it was horrible- my boyfriend wanted to send his back I suffered through- when we asked the waitress to take it off she first off didn't speak English well enough to understand us but went and got the manager who was sitting at the bar drinking. He came over with the nastiest attitude and asked why he didn't like the fish- he touched my boyfriends fish with his nasty hands and said he would give us 20% off but not take it off the ticket because side that's what we ordered. There was no crispy egg roll at all, I would bet good money they were heated up in the microwave. It was soft and a little soggy. We were there for about 3 hours and made 5 new friends that will probably be long time friends. Food options are many for a sports bar. The majority is outside but there is a small inside bar that resembles a speakeasy but cocktails are basic so don't go for high end style cocktails. The server was sweet. She struggled to understand us, but she did good work. The burger was more like a meatloaf sandwich rather than a hamburger. I'm not sure, but i believe they over seasoned the meat with the same seasoning that is used on the fries. It made the burger less of a burger and more of a meatloaf. It was good, just not what i expected. The chicken Marsala was also good. The sauce much lighter than I expected. I mean it was not bad, just ... good. The coconut shrimp was good. And i liked the sauce they provide with it. I don't recall the name, but it was very good. The dining area is actually tucked away in a outer area of a building. It was kind of nice to sit outside and watch people walking by, but it also means you hear the traffic, conversation, phone calls, dog barks, kids biking, skating, all sorts of street sounds.
