Very pretty restaurant attached to the Rubel museum. Sitting outside is especially nice. We started with mozzarella sticks which were very good. Also had ricotta on toast with honey and sesame seeds...really delicious. Entrees were cavatelli pasta with a spicy vodka sauce. Pasta cooked absolutely perfectly, sauce was definitely heavy but delicious. Also had an order of chicken parmigiana. Two extremely generous sized chicken breasts cooked perfectly, red sauce on it was very good, nice amount of cheese but not overpowering. Definitely to be shared. Had the tiramisu for dessert...yummy. This place is a winner!

was at the Rubell for an event and vip guests were able to order from them during the evening. I had the pizza, some pasta, and the cookie. everything tasted great. Very flavorful, well seasoned and fresh. I will say that cookie was the best cookie I've had in a long time... i couldn't believe how good it was, I'd literally go out of my way just to order that. lol

Came here for the first time for a SOBE WFF event. The place was very cute and right next to a museum. We got to taste some of their food and it was all really good. My fiance loved the chicken parm and I really enjoyed the pasta. The drinks were good and the vibes were great. I could see us coming back!

This place was fantastic I was here for the SOBE first time here too was amazing . The chicken parm I will be back for! The service from Kat!!!! She was absolutely amazing . Great vibes through out the night and plenty of food I was stuffed. Paid parking outside I didn't find any that was free but wasn't expensive. Met the chefs John and Vinney great guys... very nice..

Great vibes! Friendly service! Delicious authentic matcha. Both cookies were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming in post museum visit.

My friend Michelle & I stopped by for dinner after a nearby art show. Tucked away in the patio of the Rubbell Gallery, this LA import serves tasty Italian classics in an artsy environment.. Walking in, you can see the pizza box decor & crayons for you to be the artiste while waiting for your food. The menu, besides pizza, is "tapas style" in the sense that your order comes in as it is ready in the kitchen. With the warm fluffy bread, even after 10 PM, and the robust marinara sauce perfect for soaking the juicy meatballs as well as dipping the bread this was clearly my favorite (5/5). I also liked the rigatoni bolognese (4.5/5). The noodles were just past al dente, and the beef ragu hearty & flavorful as well. Make sure to leave space & macros for their strawberry cheesecake & cool ricotta cream (5/5). With what looked to be a couple different shades of tomatoes (some brighter & some darker hues of red) as well as creamy mozzarella, the caprese salad (3.5/5) was refreshing. However, we found it odd that it didn't come with a balsamic glaze, as it has in 99.999% of my culinary experience with this dish. Instead we were charged $2.25 for a tiny side of balsamic vinegar, after signaling our server a couple of times. This seemed nickel & dimey and is why I'm holding off a star.

I had high expectations for Jon & Vinny's, which made the experience even more disappointing. The service was below average, the food was just okay, but I will say the ambiance was beautiful. Our server was passive aggressive and seemed annoyed when we asked questions about the menu. Not to mention that she barely checked on our table. The most frustrating part was when we asked for water, and she brought out still water without asking us, later we found out it cost $20. We never agreed to that, and it felt like we were being taken advantage of. The food tasted fine, but it's definitely not worth the high prices, especially with such small portions. This is not a high end restaurant so why are the portions small and over price? Surprisingly, the best thing I had was the gem lettuce salad not the pizza or pasta, which is what they're known for. The only thing I really enjoyed was the ambiance. The décor is cute, and being next to the museum makes it a nice spot visually. But overall, it's just another aesthetically appealing Miami restaurant with overpriced, average food.

Been wanting to try Jon & Vinny's for a while now. I know they've kind of gotten famous from social media. Their menu is meant to be shared. I think the portions are kind of small for the price and for the family style concept. Our food came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered, which was great but it made the dinner feel rushed and we had driven such a long way. The garlic bread was excellent, I'd order that again. I ordered the cacio e Pepe, which was pretty good. Everyone else at the table seemed to be enjoying their meals as well.

I am obsessed with this place!!!!!! I need the owner or manager to please see this!! My all time favorite thing is the chocolate cake like actually I can eat that for the rest of my life. The mozzarella sticks, lemon pasta and pizza are delicious! I also love the indoor/outdoor vibe it has. Staff is nice and always welcoming :)

I hope Jon & Vinny's decides to stay in Miami officially because I LOVED the place! The restaurant is literally attached to the Rubell Museum (which has an amazing collection) so checking out the museum and getting lunch or dinner after is a great plan for the day! The place is very casual, atmosphere is chill and very family friendly. We had an Aperol Spritz, beers, the bruschetta, a pizza and the Cacio e Pepe. Everything was delicious and the prices are super fair for what you get. I removed one star because of service especifically - it was NOT GOOD unfortunately! Our server seemed lost at all times, would not look at us so it was very hard to get his attention and everything was just really slow. Other than that, great place. Will definitely go back!

Wow, just discovered a new pasta & pizza spot that's top notch quality. It's a real hidden gem in the area of Allapattah. It's ducked off inside the museum and let me just say that it absolutely blew my mind. Beautiful ambiance. The service was up to par and so on point. Everything we ordered was delicious. The meatballs were so fire! The cavatelli was amazing, the chicken cutlet was seasoned to perfection. Great taste. They have a vast menu great desserts. Decent wine list. I really enjoyed today's visit and definitely want to come back again. Super ideal for a chill ocasión or cool date. Jon & Vinny's did not disappoint. Huge shout out to my good friend the music producer Russel for putting me on and showing me a new spot! I highly recommend stopping by and checking Jon & Vinny's out!

High quality Italian food in a cool and modern, yet cozy ambiance. This restaurant is in the front of the Rubell Museum and tucked in a jungle of plants. A very unique place. The pizzas are flavorful and crispy. You can tell they use super fresh ingredients for everything. Olives had lemon preserve on them- yum! And salami salty and buttery. Servers were helpful and service was pretty quick.

    Soft serve ice cream
    Michelle H.

Unfortunately the food is very overpriced especially for the portions and the actual flavor. The ambiance is really fun and artsy and is perfectly placed in the neighborhood. The gem lettuce plate was actually one of my favorites. The soft serve ice cream was tasty but definitely not worth $9.25. Another pitfall was the fact that we also paid $20 for just two bottles of water. The server asked if we wanted sparkling or still and when we said regular assuming it was regular filtered tap water. We did not realize it was not free until we saw the bill at the end of the meal and felt deceived.

He was very friendly and attentive without overly hovering, and made sure everything arrived while it was still hot from the kitchen. The food was SPECTACULAR! A meal I will certainly never forget. The "Fiocchetti Pere & Parmigiano" was sweet but had a bite from the black sesame; I've never had anything like it. And the tiramisu was delectable without being too overly sweet. Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.
