Bucatini cacio & pepe - Battubelin
    Kimber G.

Second floor of Julia & Henry's- Service was excellent, very friendly. We had the margherita pizza & bucatini cacio & pepe. Both were amazing but especially the pasta was maybe the best cacio de pepe I've ever had!

Used to come by after work from Palm Beach off the Brightline and order the gamberi. Small portions, too expensive for the price but very savory and delicious while you eat it in the few bites you have. Don't know why the chef skimps out on the portions.

Oh my LORD is this so good. We came to the market after eating a full Indian dinner. But the pasta looked and smelled so good we had to try it. It was incredible. We got the fettuccine black truffle. It was so incredible that we actually ordered it for a second time after we finished the first one! The people are nice and you can't beat the vibe of Julia & Henry's.

This Battubelin is located on the second floor of Julia and Henry's in downtown Miami. They serve classic Italian dishes including pizzas, pastas, and desserts. I have gotten their Vegetale pizza twice and have finished the entire pie in one sitting. It is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, zucchini, eggplant, and bell pepper. Service is very quick and they text you when your order is ready. You are allowed to sit anywhere in the food hall but my favorite place to sit is near the water dispenser on the second floor. Make sure you don't fall for the trap of buying bottled water from the restaurants because you can get it for free in the hall.

Now I know you see the size of this two bite salmon. The WHOLE box is full of just straight lettuce. I paid $18 for this.

I never had the pasta here but I came for the salmon salad. I've never been served such a small piece of salad a day in my life. This was like a 2 bite salmon with a box full of lettuce. Salmon was also super dry.

I asked for the penne pasta with prosciutto , and that was what I got for $18.

This is not just a regular review for me because before Pane e Vino took residence here, this use…read moreto be a bakery that I visited very often. It holds so much nostalgia for me. It was a bakery for many, many years, even after I left Miami Beach, when I'd come visit, I made sure to get a pastelito de carne with an orange juice and then one day; the bakery was gone and Pane e Vino was here in its place. As illogical as it may be, I held resentment towards Pane e Vino because of this. I'd grumble and scowl when I'd walk by until one day I saw a man making fresh pasta at the window. Yes, this piqued my interest. I then looked at the menu, and I saw a lot of wonderful variety, but mostly that their pasta is made fresh so it occurred to me that in this instance perhaps one legendary establishment can become another one in this place, and I decided I needed to give this restaurant a chance. I have some friends who join me often when I go to Miami Beach and so we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I'm really glad we had our waitress Pilar steer us in the right direction. I love truffle anything and she highly recommended the truffle arancini. I'm soooo glad we got it, and that was probably one of my favorite things to eat ever. I have never had such creamy polenta in my life. the truffle and cheese in this was enough to almost bring me to tears. This is how great food is done. Even the salad and the simple dressing was amazing, really fresh and delicious. We tried three different pasta dishes, but my favorite without a doubt was the lamb ragu. This dish was everything. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. You know that lamb will sometimes have a gamey flavor? Not this dish. My second favorite pasta dish was the truffle ravioli. It's not like a truffle infused oil or salt they used, its actual shaved truffle, so delicious. The bread, the good quality olive oil, everything was fantastic. Even though my beloved bakery belongs to the past; in its place is now another magnificent establishment that I will look forward to visiting whenever I'm in Miami Beach.

We choose the indoor seating this time around, but I think I prefer the outdoor seating. Indoors was lovely. It was dark, sexy, no bugs, and the perfect temperature. We ordered: Faust wine 5/5 All the usual free apps 5/5 Grilled Octopus 5/5 Spicy Rigatoni 5/5 Veal Parmesan 5/5 The service was great! They had amazing team work to provide the perfect high class dinning for guest. I never had to think about water being refilled, wine glass being refilled, or crumbs on the table. They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots and it's truly worth the hype. For it being F1 weekend it was not as hectic as expected.

The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was cool. But as for the food you can get better food quality at Olive Garden. The place is basically all hype. The steak tasted like a tire patch and the pasta was completely undercooked. The food prices are completely unjustified. They also force you to pay a 20% gratuity and then have the audacity to ask for an additional tip on the final bill. The bill for 3 of us was $550. We left disappointed with the food. Bread was delicious as was the cheese cake. Main courses were mediocre at best.

We ordered the Valentina and King Bee cocktails to start and they came out delicious! Highly recommend. For entrees we ordered the fettuccine bolognese and the short rib tortellini. We joined the clean plate club with both of these dishes and didn't leave a crumb. For desert we had the espresso martinis tiramisu and once again cleaned the plate. Safe to say the dishwashers were fans of us. The service was impeccable. Food and drinks came out quick, waters were refilled promptly, and our server Alessandro made sure we were taken care of. This is a great date night spot and I would definitely put this place on your radar when in the Brickell area.

Very disappointing experience…read more I ordered the seafood pasta, priced at $34, and was shocked by how small the portion was. The dish felt more like an appetizer than an entrée. For the price, the value was simply not there. The tiny table made the experience even worse, leaving almost no room for plates, drinks, or personal items. Instead of enjoying the meal, I felt cramped and uncomfortable the entire time. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. Charging premium prices while serving such small portions is embarrassing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Shame on them!!!! Please don't go.
