The eggs any style were great but I was ready to pack them for later so I could order another breakfast burrito for myself. Incredible flavor and loved the sauce inside. The pancakes were a perfect closer for our meal. A perfect amount of sweet, nothing too overwhelming and they put a good amount of fruit on top (I hate when places cheap out on the fruit toppings!!). The food here is delicious. We tried the different lattes the tiramisu latte being my favorite. The breakfast burritos and pastries were so pretty. That nutella croissant is incredible. The matcha was so watered down though, there was no flavor. I would say the biggest downside is that their service is horrible, and I never complain about service. They completely ignore you if you need something, they are unapproachable and do not make it a nice experience for you. We got a couple drinks to go and the carrier tilted off the counter and spilled one because they didn't see the end of the ledge. They stared at us as if it was our fault, and had a clean and wipe everything until they put out a wet floor sign. I do not recommend MIAM. The food is mediocre, although it does look aesthetic. When we arrived, there was a line, which we expected. However, when it was our turn, the cashier made us wait while she finished scrolling on her phone before even acknowledging us or taking our order. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee, MIAM pancakes, and a chicken bowl. The chicken bowl came out first, but we had no silverware, so we waited. Then the pancakes came out still no silverware. We looked around and noticed everyone else had proper metal silverware and large napkins, but there was no visible station for us to get any. My daughter went up to the same cashier to ask for silverware, and she was given disposable, wrapped plastic utensils. That was frustrating, especially since everyone else dining in had real utensils. I went back up and asked why we were given plastic while dining in. She said nothing was clean and everything was being washed, and that we would have to wait if we wanted proper silverware. I returned the plastic utensils and said I would wait. Less than a minute later, a server brought out three sets of metal silverware. The customer service here is poor. Yamile is a terrible example of what customer service should be. She appeared lazy, uninterested, and showed no pride in her work. As for the food, the chicken in the bowl was dry. Visited Miam Cafe and overall it was a decent experience. There was no wait at all -- we just walked in and sat down, which was nice and convenient. You do have to order at the counter yourself. We got the spinach empanada, tiramisu pancakes, and the crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was good, but nothing really wowed us. It's one of those spots that feels more about the aesthetic and vibe than the actual food. Unfortunately, they lost our order, so we had to ask about it and wait while they prepared everything again. I went for brunch on my birthday recently. The location was cute, close to the parking garage. Seating is limited indoors. Prices are what you expect to find in Wynwood. My boyfriend and I both got cappuccinos and loved them. As for food, I got the Iberian burrito. It was really good. My only complaint was that the liquid of the pico de gallo was making it too soggy too soon. As for my boyfriend, he got the egg sandwich. He wasn't a fan. They also served the burrito with a side salad but no dressing at all. Just lettuce and tomatoes dry on the plate. No olive oil, vinegar or anything at all. I ordered a coffee drink and told the girl I wanted an iced expresso with some milk and was told I had to get a latte. It was super milky and barely tasted like coffee. Fine so then my friend went after me and he doesn't speak Spanish and she got his order wrong. When we tried communicating he had to get on line again, his food got cold then when we told her she didn't want to fix my friend's order, it literately took 4 of us to explain to her that she took his order wrong and she ended up agreeing for him to be able to add what he was missing but it took 25 minutes of this she wanted us to buy a whole new dish to get what we ordered. I asked if we could warm up his food and they said no. And I get it once it's been on a table but it just sucked he had to eat it cold. His food got cold and she was having a staff meeting with her employees and you can clearly see this people are stressed and scared of her she was pissed we came up there to get this sorted and we didn't accept her no. In general, LOVED THE FOOD, HAAAAATED THE WAY SHE MANAGED THIS SITUATION. As a Floridian restaurant owner I hope corporate can work on this because she does not have proper customer service etiquette. Let me tell you, even though my lady friend is not as much a fan of desserts as myself loved them! They're perfectly fluffy and loaded with Nutella and whipped cream. I also added strawberries & blueberries on the side. As far as savory food, we ordered their eggs Benedict (mine) and breakfast burrito (hers).The eggs Benedict were tasty with with their poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Because I overlooked reading that it was with salmon, my ladyfriend saved my life by pointing this out when the dish came. Five stars is well deserved for their savory and fresh meal. This past week I saw Miam Cafe advertised on IG. It happened to be that our weekend adventure was in Wynwood area. The restaurant was like a 10 -15 minute walk from the hotel! So ... there it starts.(also great to walk off the meal after I mention all that we ate!) We got there around 10am. I do suggest to go early as the time gets later there is a line out the door! Gladly we got there and a few other guest were there. We sat in a table right away! we went through the menu sitting at the table. . We waited for a waiter to come get our order afterwards realizing we need to place our order in the front. Once ordered they provide a number to place on your table. The staff will bring the food to you. ( that was the only flaw... just because we had no idea and we sitting there a bit waiting on a server to come by) ) Shortly after came the pitcher with already mixed champagne and fresh juice. The mimosa was not strong nor bitter. Made just perfect. We like to order two different meals so we can take a bite or share the dishes. The eggs Benedict comes with salmon . So be alert of you have seafood allergies. We had not realized it . That was Gentleman friend preferred dish and is allergic. We requested it the dish can be made with turkey. They quickly said yes! (Although it looked delish and I wanted to dive my fork into it! To get a bite) Let me tell you ... I'm an eggs Benedict fan and this one was top notch! The Hollandaise Sauce , Turkey slice and eggs was freshly made. The Hallandale sauce was made to perfection. It also comes with small chopped potatoes. I requested the breakfast burrito... it has eggs , potatoes, sour cream . All the yummy stuff. I think my eyes rolled back with every bite I took! The portion was just right to full you up. ( but we shared...) The person next to me was having the breakfast burrito it too. Even after eating mine... reminiscing of the explosion of the great taste in a bite ..,, I said "his food looks sooooo good!!" So then comes the finale dish...the Nutella waffle! It's a must have! Very large portion... highly recommend to share between even up to 4 people!! The raffle was fluffy and kinda like melt on your mouth! With all the food and bucket of champagne it took us a bit to wrap it up. The staff were friendly going around and asking on how the service was. Kevin came to our table a few times to make sure we were good and if we were happy with our meals! Of cousins yes! Back to the beginning ... when we arrived there as sitting tables available and no line. As we wrapped it up sipping what was left from the mimosa pitcher the ordering line grew to the door. Even with that ... the staff did not rush us out! I kinda felt bad for the guest and tried to wrap it up faster so they can enjoy as well. So I do recommend this spot! I would definitely go back ! Of course I've recommend it already to my family and friends! But if you get discouraged with lines I do suggest to go early or not at peak times Oh I noticed orders being picked up so maybe you can order in and indulge at home .... Especially on a football Sunday! ( because its a must try spot) I would say when I first saw the pricing for a waffle I was like... that's an expensive waffle! Our food and drinks did not come out together so we had to wait for everyone at the table to get their food. We asked just to get the chicken recooked and they sent us a side of oil stating that's all that can be done. The server took the bowl in and came back with the menu to pick something else so we all finished eating while my sister waited for her replacement.
