Miam is a cute little breakfast cafe that gives Parisian type vibes with all of the fresh baked pastries in the case when you walk in. Amd the staff is friendly when you enter. I tried the strawberry croissant which was nice and flaky and fresh. The strawberry filling was really good. My açaí bowl came out more like soup, so I got a redo and that came back with the perfect consistency. My friends enjoyed their meals also. It's a cute girlie meet up spot. I'd suggest it for sure.
The food here is delicious. We tried the different lattes the tiramisu latte being my favorite. The breakfast burritos and pastries were so pretty. That nutella croissant is incredible. The matcha was so watered down though, there was no flavor. I would say the biggest downside is that their service is horrible, and I never complain about service. They completely ignore you if you need something, they are unapproachable and do not make it a nice experience for you. We got a couple drinks to go and the carrier tilted off the counter and spilled one because they didn't see the end of the ledge. They stared at us as if it was our fault, and had a clean and wipe everything until they put out a wet floor sign. It's not common for me to think of a place and only remember how bad their service is and how rude the staff is. I feel like they are just lucky their food is good.
- Stopped by this cafe for lunch - You order at the counter and then find a spot to get seated - Got the salmon avocado toast. It was really fresh and delicious - Also got the strawberry matcha and do not recommend. For some reason the strawberry just made the drink taste like it went bad or that the milk was off. Maybe opt out of getting the strawberry matcha and just try their regular option - They have indoor + outdoor seating
Visited Miam Cafe and overall it was a decent experience. There was no wait at all -- we just walked in and sat down, which was nice and convenient. You do have to order at the counter yourself. We got the spinach empanada, tiramisu pancakes, and the crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was good, but nothing really wowed us. It's one of those spots that feels more about the aesthetic and vibe than the actual food. Unfortunately, they lost our order, so we had to ask about it and wait while they prepared everything again. That was a bit frustrating. When the food finally came out, the sandwich was good flavor-wise but a little cold. The pancakes tasted good too, just not as fluffy as we expected. Overall, it's a cute place for pictures and a casual brunch, but the food and service didn't fully live up to the aesthetic.
SOOOOOOO GOOD! Stopped by this morning for breakfast with my husband and left so full and happy. I ordered the Organic Egg Any Style and my husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito and we chose the Buttermilk Pancakes to share. By far the best breakfast burrito we've ever had! The eggs any style were great but I was ready to pack them for later so I could order another breakfast burrito for myself. Incredible flavor and loved the sauce inside. The pancakes were a perfect closer for our meal. A perfect amount of sweet, nothing too overwhelming and they put a good amount of fruit on top (I hate when places cheap out on the fruit toppings!!). And the texture on the pancakes was absolutely *chef's kiss*. Environment was clean and very welcoming. Service was quick and friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast here was okay. Nothing over the top or super special. We ordered the meat breakfast burrito and the vegetarian one and it lacked some seasoning. They also served the burrito with a side salad but no dressing at all. Just lettuce and tomatoes dry on the plate. No olive oil, vinegar or anything at all. I ordered a coffee drink and told the girl I wanted an iced expresso with some milk and was told I had to get a latte. It was super milky and barely tasted like coffee. My boo got a green smoothie and it was a 5/10. The best part of the place was the live dj outside and their pancakes and croissants looked amazing! I would give this place another try and see if anything else on the menu is good. For the price alone, I have definitely had better in Miami.
Never going back. I spent $48 on food and later discovered they had already added a 25% tip without my permission. This is a self-service restaurant: you stand in line, get your own utensils, and bus your own table. They don't provide free tap water and instead push bottled "tap water" for $4-$5. When I asked if a tip was included, I was told yes, yet the payment screen still asked for more gratuity. The food was very good, but adding a 25% tip for virtually no service is unacceptable. Their tipping practices cost them a customer, and I would not recommend this place.
I went for brunch on my birthday recently. The location was cute, close to the parking garage. Seating is limited indoors. Prices are what you expect to find in Wynwood. My boyfriend and I both got cappuccinos and loved them. As for food, I got the Iberian burrito. It was really good. My only complaint was that the liquid of the pico de gallo was making it too soggy too soon. As for my boyfriend, he got the egg sandwich. He wasn't a fan. He said there was too much guacamole and green sprouts, and it was so overpowering that it just tasted like that. Overall, the staff was very sweet.
Few things help you recover after a fun weekend than brunch with a good mimosa pitcher! We found Miam Cafe through their Instagrams for their famous pancakes. Let me tell you, even though my lady friend is not as much a fan of desserts as myself loved them! They're perfectly fluffy and loaded with Nutella and whipped cream. I also added strawberries & blueberries on the side. As far as savory food, we ordered their eggs Benedict (mine) and breakfast burrito (hers).The eggs Benedict were tasty with with their poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Because I overlooked reading that it was with salmon, my ladyfriend saved my life by pointing this out when the dish came. The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful enough to prepare a brand new plate substituting for turkey. Huge shoutout to Kevin & his team for pleasant service and not rushing us out & enjoying our mimis even though the restaurant was almost packed.
Pre birthday brunch Steak was so tender and juicy Pancakes were so filling and delicious Mimosas were light and nice Service was a little put offish but that may just be due to the counter/ cash register ordering set up verses service at table I would be willing to go again to try other options on the menu
The place was visually stunning and definitely picture worthy. Lots of pastries and menu items to pick from The food was okay nothing crazy. The thing that gave this place 3 stars was the sauce with steak bowl. Absolutely delicious! Service was great the ladies checked on us a few times and were very attentive.
Went for breakfast after checking out of our Airbnb since it was within walking distance. I would never recommend anyone come here unless you want to stand in line for 40 minutes just to order. Seating was sparse, but I ended up finding a spot by the window, where people were standing less than five inches away from me the entire time. If you ask for something and they forget it expect them to ignore you when you go back up to the counter and ask. I got the French toast, and while it was "aesthetic," it was also soggy. The matcha was bad but that was expected. Probably won't ever come back here.
Stopped by Miami Cafe Wynwood for brunch after checking out the Wynwood Walls and some of the street art in the area. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe. You're greeted by the team as you walk in and place your order at the counter. A solid variety of pastries are on display, which makes it hard to pick just one. I went with the eggs Benedict and added a cookies and cream croissant on the side. Both were tasty and hit the spot. The eggs were done right and the croissant was flaky with just the right amount of sweetness. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit inside to stay out of the heat and it was a comfortable spot to cool off and enjoy the meal. Definitely a good stop if you're in the area and want something relaxed with quality food.

This is a bright, comfortable café with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that makes it easy to savor the food. The fare is fresh and delicious especially the breakfast dishes and pastries, which feel just like homemade baked goods. I appreciate the friendly service here; even during peak hours, the food is served remarkably fast. I will start off by saying their panakes were amazing. Ordered a BEC sandwich and they forgot the bacon, instead of apologizing they tried to say maybe I ordered it without bacon, because bacon was put on there. They eventually gave me bacon, but I did not really receive an apology for their mess up, so I did not appreciate that. read more
Very cute inside, but horrible service and overpriced food. I had seen photos of the menu prior to going and they seemed pricey but weren't as ridiculous as they are now. $24 for pancakes is outrageous. I came with my partner to have a nice coffee and breakfast but we were quickly dissuades by the prices and the rude staff. I ordered a fruit tart and my partner ordered a chocolate chip cookie. They were both $10, for that price we expected an exquisite pastry experience, but the fruit tart was bland and the cookie tasted oddly of lemon. Needless to say, we're never going back. read more

Miam has a nice presentation and a cute space, but the food didn't feel very fresh or flavorful. Service was slow and not attentive. The coffee tasted burnt and was unimpressive. Nice concept overall, just didn't fully deliver. read more

Wow!! A must stop for breakfast. The food is incredible and so unique. It is more of a quick serve restaurant rather than a traditional restaurant. You order at the counter and then find a table. The service was good and the inside had nice vibes. read more

The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with the potatoes and greens The bacon, egg, and cheese was one of the best I've had, and the Dulce de Leche pancakes were amazing -- definitely big enough to share. We went on a Sunday around 2 PM, and although there was a bit of a line (seemed like their rush hour), we were still able to get a table without too much of a wait. read more

Last Monday, we decided to try Miam Cafe in Wynwood for brunch. It was a great decision because we definitely plan to go back asap. My daughter ordered the Big Breafast Platter with 2 eggs, a side of bacon, fruit, potatoes, and toast with purple onions on it, which she removed. She also ordered a Mocha coffee. She was pleased with her choice. I ordered the Avacado Smoked Salmon toast with egg. Omg, I loved it!! It was perfectly made! So delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. I don't usually rave about food, but this was an exception. Our server was Rodney, who did a great job of bringing us little extras that were overlooked. He was outstanding. He had a nice attitude. We appreciated him. The ambiance was good. A variety of diners: couples, internet users, book readers, locals, tourists. Dress is casual. The decor was definitely a Wynwood style. I don't understand the flooring design though. The colors make it look like it needs to be shined up or mopped. It could be a new style that I haven't yet seen. Suggestion to the owner/manager: please check and tighten the indoor tables. We had to change tables 3 times near the Twiggy picture because they were rocking so much that it was annoying. One more thing! Why were we charged an extra 4% on our bill for "restaurant charge"? What was that for? For the unstable tables? I have never seen that charged in Miami. Parking was available free on the street and close to the restaurant. The front entrance is not wheelchair accessible because of the curb to climb up on. See picture. read more

I was in the area and in the mood for brunchy food. It's very nice inside. It's a plus that they're pet friendly as I had just taken my dog to the vet and had to bring her with me. You place your order at the front and then they bring it out to you. The girl that helped me was nice but I don't think she provided the best suggestions. The food was okay. I tried - Loaded burger - bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, mushrooms, cheddar, smashed avocado and egg. I felt the meat was tough, it didn't have much flavor. The onions and mushrooms weren't fresh or hot. The avocado seemed like store bought guacamole. Was not impressed by this burger. The pros were that they melted the cheese, which is actually pretty rare these days, and that the burger was massive. The bun was also very good and tasted fresh. Overall this is a 2.5/5 ($19) Pancakes - Very big, fluffy and picturesque. I got them plain with syrup on the side. They tasted alright but not fresh. Seemed premade and then reheated. 3/5 I think perhaps I didn't order the right things. My mom enjoyed her meal and experience but her order was very simple. Two fried eggs and bacon with a side of fruit and potatoes. The lattes were also good. My overall impression is that this place is good for a photograph of yourself and your pretty food but unfortunately the food doesn't taste as good as it looks. I probably won't stop by here again. Shame because I think with a little more attention to detail they could have made tastier and fresher food. read more

It's been a while since I visited but I feel like food quality and service has gone downhill. I ordered the lomo saltado bowl and while it looked pretty, the meat was very tough and the rice was a hard rice pilaf instead of white rice. Wasn't worth it at almost $20 a bowl. Miam can get crowded during the day and table seating is first come first serve so I recommend getting there early or giving yourself extra time. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. When I placed my order, there was a bit of a communication barrier with the server, but we eventually managed to understand each other. The cafe had plenty of seating but looked pretty dated inside, though it was fairly slow since it was a Tuesday morning. I ordered a dirty chai latte and the pancake platter. The chai latte was good, though on the sweeter side, which wasn't exactly to my taste, but still enjoyable. However, after receiving my drink, the service wasn't as attentive as I'd hoped. I had to eventually get their attention to ask for water, and when I did, I was told I could either buy bottled water or have tap water, which wasn't filtered. I wish I had known that upfront--I would've just brought my own water bottle. The pancake platter looked amazing--definitely Instagram-worthy--but unfortunately, the pancakes were quite dry. The syrup helped a bit, but they just didn't meet my expectations, especially after reading some more positive reviews. It might have just been an off day at this location. Overall, if I visit Miami again, I'm not sure I'd return for breakfast. read more

This place is visually appealing. The pancakes are really good and the food looks pretty but customer service is not the best. Our food and drinks did not come out together so we had to wait for everyone at the table to get their food. One server told us they had black beans which we are still waiting on(came to find out they don't even have any) Our table had two chicken bowls, one was really dry and the other cooked perfectly. We asked just to get the chicken recooked and they sent us a side of oil stating that's all that can be done. The server took the bowl in and came back with the menu to pick something else so we all finished eating while my sister waited for her replacement. Went in and spoke to the manager whom was understanding at first and offered to get us the chicken bowl and a complementary dessert. When she came back with the bowl her entire attitude changed, we eventually just left both salmon and chicken bowl. Would never go back to this spot. Staff is not too knowledgeable or friendly. Would've given a 3 star but staff is not compassionate. read more
Had high expectations for this place but it was chaos from beginning to end. You have to order first and then find a seat yourself which makes it chaotic if it's packed, which of course it was on a Sunday morning. The line inside was crazy so as people are eating they have people next to them lining up and bumping into them as they get in and out of the line. Place inside is small but the vibe is great, music was a little loud so it was difficult to hold a conversation. The service was the worst part of all, as we were walking in we opened the door (me holding my baby and my sister opened the door for me to go in) and one of the servers happened to be walking out, instead of waiting for us to go in she sighed loudly and walked out angrily in between us. To top it off the waitress basically threw the plate of pancakes at our table without even asking who the pancakes were for. We were so surprised! My sister asked for extra cutlery and she rolled her eyes walked away and never came back with any. We had to ask another waitress to bring them - I wish I would have asked for her name because she seemed to be the only kind person working there. The food was good everyone in our party enjoyed it. We ordered the Nutella pancakes and they were good, fluffy and plenty of Nutella, definitely need to add more strawberries though, it was barely one strawberry for 3 huge pancakes... *PARENT TIP: note that there are no changing tables for your babies in the bathrooms and if you plan to bring a stroller make sure it's a travel stroller. The pancake were super fluffy and came with wip cream and flowers in top. It came with three pancakes with is a large serving definite can share between two people. The sandwhich was also really good came with a good ratio of vegetables to meat. Would come back! read more

Location and the patio is great! Hate this service because you have to wait in line to the counter to order the food. If you forgot to order something you HAVE to wait in line again. They have servers but they only bring in your food to your table. I ordered steak and eggs and the steak was nasty. No flavor and the green sauce that came with it waa bland. The only thing that was good were the pancakes but be prepare to spend $25 for it. read more

The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the seating, it's basically first come first serve you come in, you make the line and then you sit down and wait for them to bring your food. I came on a Saturday afternoon. Luckily I was able to snag a table while my friend waited in line for us. inside It's pretty cute and the food smells amazing. I ordered the steak with eggs and it was delicious. Very well seasoned & good amount of food for the money. It was a great filling portion. For dessert a Tres Leche pancake, I was not expecting it to be so fluffy, but it was amazing and delicious and the fruit very fresh. Food is displayed very Instagram worthy, definitely recommending to my friends and coming back for more. read more

Let's just start by saying the aesthetic is super cute in here. The staff is also really nice but it's not enough to keep me coming back. The food is really just OK. It's more visually pleasing than for taste. The açaí bowl is pretty good. Although I can't recommend anything else because there is no way it would be a choice to order again. It's just lacking flavor here. Even potatoes in a dish were undercooked. This place has some promise but some changes need to be made. read more

I want to start by saying they need to have reservations. This little place was so packed and only has about 10 tables inside and maybe five outside. So they're putting tables together or moving chairs as people are coming in . The service is really fast. You were at the counter and then they'll bring you the food. The fruit was great a little pricey, but I'm sure that's normal for Miami. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10. read more

This is a nice little cafe in Wynwood. We were looking for breakfast and this was one of the top-rated places. They have a nice dine in area which was not too packed. You go to the front to order and they deliver the food to you. Everyone inside seemed to be just hanging out and relaxing for the most part. There was some outdoor seating as well but it was too hot for anyone to do that. I ordered the Miam Omelette with chicken and an iced coffee. I never had an omelette like this before. It was very tasty and filling. It didn't look like a regular omelette so it threw me off a little bit. Other people coming in were asking me what I was eating so they could try. I wouldn't mind coming here again to try out some of the other options as well. read more
