    Chicken soup

On a Wednesday night, we started with the chicken soup and the liver, along with the fried chicken and the cauliflower. It was all very good, tho I wasn't too impressed with the cauliflower (the description of it sounded better). The Gem Salad was very good. For mains, we get the lemon anchovy pasta which was good and the pork chop piccata. The day tripper, resposado and grapefruit cocktail was good.

We had a good dinner here although not at all what was expected. We came to celebrate our anniversary, but it is really not the kind of place to do so. They don't do anything to recognize any celebrations. We were able to get street parking right nearby. They do offer some comp garage parking with instructions on their site. And as mentioned, it is easy to pass by. The entrance to the restaurant is rather nondescript. We came to the restaurant a bit early and got to take advantage of a couple items from their happy hour menu. It's a short time period for these specials and drinks, but worth it. We ordered (and shared) their regular menu appetizer of chicken liver pate topped with fig jam -- which was excellent -- and it was my favorite dish of the night. I also got their stuffed eggplant off the regular menu (quite good). My husband had a HH tavern slider with caramelized onions, blue cheese and mustard. He also got an order of HH tallow fries -- done well. For desserts, he got an airy angel food cake with berries and sabayon; I gad their chocolate pots de creme -- so rich with dense dark chocolate. A number of folks came with their dogs and sat in their outside patio area. We sat inside which is a tad more intimate but less decoratively appealing. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

Celebrating a special occasion downtown at The Blind Monk. They do offer Free Parking in the attached Garage with an entrance through that area. You also have available metered street parking right out front. If you arrive before before 6pm you can take advantage of the Happy Hour food and selected bar drinks. I selected a HH Slider which was a thick beef patty with blue cheese, caramelized onions, and fig jam. It was delicious! I also had the house tallow fries, hand cut with sea salt and aioli for dipping. Very good when served hot from the fryer. We shared the Chicken Patè which was smooth and rich, topped with a thin layer of fig jam. Very good and my favorite. We also shared some very good Eggplant! Our server was very attentive and helpful!

Went here for a fundraiser happy hour event. The ambiance here is low key and chill. The inside bar area can get crowded during their happy hour that's really short (5pm-6pm). The decor is nice inside, giving a luxury feel. This bar sits inside the AKA hotel, which I have yet to stay at (on my to do list)! It's street parking and near by garages. I'd recommend ride share if possible. We had a few different table appetizers (variety of sliders and fried olives). Unique taste for both but flavorful and fresh. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The drinks were good also. I'd definitely come back here!

At 63 degrees I didn't expect to ask for a garden table but it was lovely outside with the heaters! Amazing tallow fries and sliders. Decaf espresso martinis! Hayley was fabulous!

I went with a friend last week to try Happy Hour at The Blind Monk. The restaurant was beautiful and quaint. We sat at the bar and had martinis. They were delicious. We also ordered a variety of samplers from the HH menu. All were delicious! My favorite was the fried chicken. My only complaint is that the HH only last an hour from 5-6!

I hadn't visited The Blind Monk's new location on Olive Avenue until recently. While I loved the old location on Evernia, which was cool and always offered nice charcuterie with its wine and beer selection, the new location offers a full liquor bar and food menu in a gorgeously designed interior. The brass liquor shelves above the bar with the mirrors on the wall reflecting back at the guests and surrounded by the stylish, French green walls and columns invite you at the Blind Monk to be bougie and be stylish. Noshing on Mussels Escabeche with fried green plantains, while enjoying cocktails such as the Spitfire (made with tequila, grapefruit, Serrano agave, grapefruit sparkling, and lime) and the Day Tripper (tequila, lime, grapefruit, Pow-Pow, prickly pear, and sparkling), I enjoyed my time at the marble-countered bar with panache. The bartenders sling the drinks well, while the kitchen is quite versatile. The service is prompt and full of quality. There is also a lovely patio area that can hold at least 50 to 100 people it appears -- so if you have a private party, you could take advantage so long as it's not in the middle of summer. The new location of the Blind Monk is a gem and one we will return for more experiences.

We were in Palm Beach for a weekend and chose The Blind Monk for our one nice dinner out - it did not disappoint! One of my friends ordered the "Mystery" special which came with 3 courses (matzoh ball soup, oxtail pasta, and dessert), along with drink/wine pairings. Me and another friend split the burrata small plate (which was actually a huge portion and delicious!) and I got the chicken salad. Everything was super fresh, delectably seasoned, and came with good portions. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and the green booth we sat on were very comfortable. We left extremely satisfied!

Decided to try this place out for an impromptu date night and it was a little bad, a little good, but definitely worth the trip. First the bad... Decor. For food that costs this much, in downtown, WPB, they should do better. My impressions walking in were not great. A giant bar display is nice but it's obvious no one can get to the top 2 shelves so those are just for looks. The furniture is dated and more than a little beat up. The lovely Spensyr got poked by a broken corner on the tabletop. The industrial ceiling look with exposed pipes and vents has come and gone but they decided to not only keep it alive, but doubled down with bare, water stained, concrete for a main dining room area wall. It's ugly and lessens what was otherwise a great experience. Okay, now the good... Literally everything else. Our hostess greeted us immediately, found our reservation and had us seated right away. Our server Mac was lovely, friendly, knew the menu, and never let my water glass go empty! We had a couple cocktails, and a couple of drinks, and everything was really good! Wagyu oxtail ragu was full of deliciously sauced meat and served on perfectly cooked pasta, while my steak frites was one of the better I've had.

    Inside. Lovely decor.

First time here and it was so lovely! Ladies night, 6 of us, and we got to take advantage of the Happy Hour drinks. We all enjoyed the tasty cocktails and wine (maybe too much!) Our food was very good. Especially the charcuterie board. So delicious! Also had excellent service. They have been in this location 6 months. It's just beautiful inside. I'm coming back to sit at the bar sometime. I say drop in and enjoy!

Loved the green theme. Very swanky, well lit, overall attractive ambiance. In door dining with a sexy bar, and outdoor dining on the other side. The service was great, server was timely, courteous and attentive. Manager came over to say hello and chatted for a sec. The food was delicious and nicely plated. I requested veggies instead of potatoes and they complied. Overall was very pleased with my whole experience here. I'd definitely go again. One of my best spots in d/t WPB.

Great place for a cheese or charcuterie board and a cocktail!! My favorite cocktail on the menu is the "Day Tripper"- tequila, lime, grapefruit, paw-paw, and prickly pear. Refreshing and unique flavors make for the perfect sip!! We made our own cheese and charcuterie board (pick 5); we went off all suggestions from the bartender and all 5 (3 cheeses and 2 meats) were incredible. The cheese was fresh, and the flavor combinations were unique (one type I had never tasted before). The meat and all the accompaniments went together so well!! Cheese board was a little pricey, but thought it was a good portion size compared to other places. The bartender was really nice and made our morning great! Service 10/10. Chic and classy ambiance inside, with a lot of sunlight pouring through the windows. Only downfall is the hours here- close super early Sunday, and closed 2 days of the week. Also found the menu to be limited (breakfast and lunch). Hoping for an expanded menu and extended hours soon!

Love the new location! Has a chic vibe, good service, and delicious food. The wine is wonderful, as are the craft cocktails. I loved the Sangiovese by the glass and my boyfriend enjoyed the Fake ID cocktail. We were both very impressed by our entrees. The roasted chicken salad was so good. The gnocchi was the best we've had in a while. Would love to see them add to the menu!

She waited until we were seated to hand us or menus and it didn't feel rushed. Gabby, our server, showed confidence and love for the place when she introduced herself. They make everything from scratch here and Gabby sold us on the eggrolls and mac and cheese to start. However, before those could arrive, Rachel came by with an order of biscuits for us. These were absolutely to die for and the gesture was very kind. The eggrolls, bbq sauce, and ranch were the highlight of our food adventure here. You could tell this was all freshly made. We both ordered burgers and those were very good, hearty, and not greasy. Their house sauce B1 added a perfect element of smokiness to the burger. Gabby's service ensured we always had refills, never had to ask for anything, and the table was always clean. Rachel stopped by and checked on us and also gave us cute glasses to take home with us and coupons to come back for happy hour for some "off menu snacking". So if you're asking if Batch does things differently, they absolutely do. We can't wait to bring our friends next time. Ask for Rachel and Gabby and don't sleep on the eggrolls!

I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

It's beautifully decorated and truly Instagram-worthy. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot for a special outing or even just to enjoy the ambiance. Our waiter was also excellent, attentive and efficient, he also made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout our meal. That said, there were a few downsides. Upon arrival, valet service was disappointing. Several employees were standing around talking while only one person was actively working, which caused unnecessary delays. Both the car in front of us and our own were left waiting longer than expected. Food-wise, while everything was good, my meal arrived warm rather than hot, which took away from the experience a bit. Also, our food did not arrive at the same time. For a restaurant at this level, I expected better attention to that detail. Dessert was also a bit underwhelming visually as I was expecting something more polished and presentable to match the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Overall, RH delivers on atmosphere and service at the table, but tightening up the valet experience and food presentation/temperature would really elevate it to the next level.
