I had a great experience at Treetop. The restaurant is beautiful but still feels comfortable and relaxed, not stuffy or over the top. We came on a Tuesday night and had plenty of choice for seating both inside and out. We sat outside and the rooftop view is stunning and really sets the tone for the night. It's the kind of place you can settle into and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. We were here from 7 to 11PM. Natalia was our server and she was awesome. Super friendly, checked on us just the right amount and made the whole dinner feel easy. I had the surf and turf which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My dining partner ordered the salmon and loved it just as much. I had a few Palomas and honestly lost count at some point which probably says everything about how good they were. Ambiance--It was a special Brazilian Carnival night, with reserved seating (at cost) and a special menu. Attended with my daughter, aunt, and two adult cousins (About $15O)- food not included. Entertainment was decent. Needed more of something to feel Brazil carnival Food--I ordered from main menu "Kimchi fried rice," which is one of my favorite dishes. I lived in South Korea for a year. I noted that the pork belly in my kimchi fried rice was very hard and chewy (overcooked) which should not be the case. Otherwise I could taste the kimchi which was good. Around the table, there were fried chicken wings, a big juicy burger, French fries (very tasty) and one of my cousins have the special skewered chicken from the Brazilian menu. She reported the chicken to be very bland despite its colorful appearance. All in all, everyone said, their food was "OK." The specialty drinks, Caipirinha (X 2) were good. Service was wonderful --our server Susan checked on us often. She was very attentive (we did pay for a reserved table & attention, I suppose). The manager checked on us twice to make sure we were having a good time and we were - generally speaking. It's a beautiful rooftop. My friend invited us to a Memorial Day pool party here. There was a special menu for the day so we all started with the Strawberry Aperol Spritz which was nice and refreshing. We ordered the smash burger from the special menu as well for our entrees. For some odd reason they brought mine out with all the condiments separately but it was still delicious especially the bacon jam once I put it all on the burger. Once the Aperol spritz gals finished setting up we went over for samples which were so delightful my husband snatched mine when he arrived. They also gave out cool swag such as folding hand fans and tote bags. The DJ could have played better music as no one was really vibing to whatever he had going on. Treehouse has been on my radar for some time now. Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy the rooftop bar on the 13th floor of Canopy in downtown West Palm Beach. The hotel rooftop bar has gorgeous views of the downtown area from the intercoastal to further out west and north into the city. They also offer wonderful cabana-inspired cocktails and cuisine that will radiate the vibes whether you're staying at the hotel and using the pool or just want to experience the good times. While I didn't get to thoroughly enjoy the menu, I did enjoy the Treehouse Roosters while I was there, served with Truffle Parmesan and a side of blue cheese chips. The dish is quite tasty as I devoured each wing on the clay-like slab. I am a big fan of their cocktails, enjoying two while I was there between the Sexy Senorita that was solid (made with illegal mezcal, passion fruit, lime, and Fever Tree Grapefruit Soda) and the Georgia Peach that was class (fresh citrus, Grand Mariner, and Mi Campo Tequila). The bartenders were cool and very chill with their vibes. I was glad I went as it became the golden hour as the sun reflected lovely onto the pool that was right next door to the bar. I'm sure the night livens the bar up plenty, as it really is nice real estate. I found street parking easy in this part of downtown West Palm Beach. Treehouse is so amazing! We arrived to check in a bit early so we went upstairs to have a late lunch. We were greeted immediately by Seth who gave us menus and told us about some of the specialty drinks. This place has a great vibe, large bar seating area with tables inside and outside. We tried the Tostones Al Pastor and the Latin Plantain Chips. Both were sooo good! A perfect snack with the Tropical Ginger cocktail. Scott had the Sexy Señorita. Both drinks were delicious and refreshing. Emma and Marie were delightful attentive bartenders. We were regulars at Treehouse for our long weekend visit and can't wait to go back. I went to Treehouse this weekend after brunch ended, so the kitchen was closed, it was nearly empty and the kitchen reopened around 4pm. For appetizer we ordered the Latin plantain chips. It was okay, the guacamole was good, not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. After the kitchen opened we ordered the tune poke tacos. The tacos were okay, it didn't look like the other pictures of the tacos from the previous years and it didn't have much flavor. The ambiance is very welcoming and spacious. Treehouse is Hilton Canopy's rooftop bar on the 13th floor of the hotel in downtown WPB, with indoor/outdoor seating and bar, so you can order drinks and food - it is a limited food menu - from both inside and outside the place. The indoor space has low couches, and is more intimate than the rooftop bar at The Ben, further north and closer to the water than Treehouse. The outdoor space includes a pool, and is more expansive than the indoor room. The rooftop patio has a Northeast view, and you can see the intracoastal in the distance, so the views are more city-like than the Ben's rooftop bar. The limited food menu is good and still offers a good variety of choices, like starters, flatbreads, salads and even two desserts. Wine list is good, with a prosecco and a champagne that is reasonably priced. Mixology is at par for an establishment like the Treehouse, and the cocktails are solid. Love this rooftop on top of Canopy Hilton!!! Review not based on food (have yet to try any of the food; but limited menu available). The rooftop is a hidden gem- never too packed with people. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the doors are usually open, so it feels like one big space. You can sit at the bar inside or outside, as well as at tables or couches. Usually they have live music, and a very relaxed vibe with a pool and palm trees swaying in the wind. Cocktails are delicious- they make a great espresso martini (if you add Bailey's to it); all drinks are a little pricey. Beautiful views of the city of West Palm Beach, and the Breakers at night. This place is one of the best vibes in WPB. Have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, most recently as a staycation and it's always a delight. Plenty of cold beer options on draft but this time I was tempted by watching the bartender make so many espresso martinis I gave in and ordered one for myself. It was delicious! Aesha, the bartender was very laid back and we enjoyed chatting with her while also watching one of the women's World Cup games (thank you for putting it on!). I went with my fiance to meet some friends at Treehouse. We had never been before but the setting looked great. It is on the 13th floor of the Canopy Hilton Hotel with a spectacular view of downtown West Palm Beach. However, watch out for the "hidden" 20% tip (discussed further below). We drove up to the hotel and saw that there was hotel valet parking. The cost was $16. We told them that we were going to the restaurant but you still have to pay and there is no discount. There is an option for on-street parking but it is two-hours max so that wasn't going to work. We did go ahead and valet but it seems somewhat cheap that we have to pay the hotel to go and eat at their restaurant. The inside of the hotel was very nice. We were directed to the appropriate elevators and rode it up to the 13th floor where the restaurant is located. The restaurant setting is great. It is all outdoors and they have a variety of high-tops, casual chairs with low tables, etc. to sit at. It's a very relaxed ambience and is a great date place. The view is spectacular. We were there at night so we saw all of downtown West Palm Beach lit up. We sat down and were greeted by a very friendly waiter. He brought us menus and water. He gave us plenty of time to order, never rushed us, and checked in from time to time to see if we needed anything. I had the Spicy Watermelon Margarita to drink and it was so good I ordered a second one. For my main meal, I got the Cuban sandwich with fries and my fiance got the Mahi tacos. We also ordered the Calamari and the tuna poke taco as appetizers. All of the food was great. The Cuban was big with lots of flavor. The French fries were good. The Mahi tacos were really good and the Mahi tasted very fresh. The poke taco may have been the best item we had. If I go back I would consider getting it as a main meal. All in all my experience at Treehouse would normally rate an easy four stars. The food, service and ambience were all great. However, two things caused me to subtract two stars The first was that you have to pay for parking to come eat at the hotel's restaurant. That seems like a nickel and dime move. Second and an even bigger factor is that a 20% tip is included in the bill and they do not make it obvious that this is the case. I suspect a high percentage of people are not aware of this "hidden" tip and leave another 15-20% in addition. I only knew because of Yelp reviews I read complaining of this. I didn't see it on the menu anywhere that a 20% gratuity was automatically included. The only place I saw it was at the bottom of the receipt and I had to look for it to find it. I'm sure many people miss it. It is nowhere on the credit card stub and they helpfully leave the tip line open for the unsuspecting. It may be harsh to only give a two star review but I don't react well when I feel someone is trying to deceive me. Because of the parking and the "hidden" tip situation, I likely will not be back. read more
