I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful restaurant and bar. Besides the beautiful views; really great service, large portioned fresh yummy food and strong drinks. Amazing prices too!! Tostones with pork were literally the best I've ever had. This place and the staff was definitely the highlight of our stay at The Canopy and our visit to WPB. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, I highly recommend to eat here or grab drinks. 5+ stars!! read more

I went with my fiance to meet some friends at Treehouse. We had never been before but the setting looked great. It is on the 13th floor of the Canopy Hilton Hotel with a spectacular view of downtown West Palm Beach. However, watch out for the "hidden" 20% tip (discussed further below). We drove up to the hotel and saw that there was hotel valet parking. The cost was $16. We told them that we were going to the restaurant but you still have to pay and there is no discount. There is an option for on-street parking but it is two-hours max so that wasn't going to work. We did go ahead and valet but it seems somewhat cheap that we have to pay the hotel to go and eat at their restaurant. The inside of the hotel was very nice. We were directed to the appropriate elevators and rode it up to the 13th floor where the restaurant is located. The restaurant setting is great. It is all outdoors and they have a variety of high-tops, casual chairs with low tables, etc. to sit at. It's a very relaxed ambience and is a great date place. The view is spectacular. We were there at night so we saw all of downtown West Palm Beach lit up. We sat down and were greeted by a very friendly waiter. He brought us menus and water. He gave us plenty of time to order, never rushed us, and checked in from time to time to see if we needed anything. I had the Spicy Watermelon Margarita to drink and it was so good I ordered a second one. For my main meal, I got the Cuban sandwich with fries and my fiance got the Mahi tacos. We also ordered the Calamari and the tuna poke taco as appetizers. All of the food was great. The Cuban was big with lots of flavor. The French fries were good. The Mahi tacos were really good and the Mahi tasted very fresh. The poke taco may have been the best item we had. If I go back I would consider getting it as a main meal. All in all my experience at Treehouse would normally rate an easy four stars. The food, service and ambience were all great. However, two things caused me to subtract two stars The first was that you have to pay for parking to come eat at the hotel's restaurant. That seems like a nickel and dime move. Second and an even bigger factor is that a 20% tip is included in the bill and they do not make it obvious that this is the case. I suspect a high percentage of people are not aware of this "hidden" tip and leave another 15-20% in addition. I only knew because of Yelp reviews I read complaining of this. I didn't see it on the menu anywhere that a 20% gratuity was automatically included. The only place I saw it was at the bottom of the receipt and I had to look for it to find it. I'm sure many people miss it. It is nowhere on the credit card stub and they helpfully leave the tip line open for the unsuspecting. It may be harsh to only give a two star review but I don't react well when I feel someone is trying to deceive me. Because of the parking and the "hidden" tip situation, I likely will not be back. read more

Treehouse is a rooftop restaurant & bar at the Canopy Hotel, go to the rooftop and you'll see it. Came by a few times while I was in town, met up with some friends. Great place to meet up, have a drink, great food items to share or not share. It's a nice looking place with a great view! Food was pretty darn good in my book! The charred brussel sprouts were fantastic, my mom never made them like this when I was a kid. Get em! Tostones with mojo pork on top, yea....you know that sounds good and it was! Flatbread pizza was delicious too, great item to share, wonderful hipster type of toppings, I think it had pomegranate seeds on it, whatever....it was good! Cocktail menu looked good to me, they are able to accommodate any substitutes of alcohol to your drink. Most likely you'll be able to find a cocktail to your liking on the menu. Service was great, friendly, personable to chat, attentive and quick to check on you for more drink or food. Prices seem to be on the high side but that was to be expected in my book. Atmosphere and vibe is more on the upscale side but a bit casual as well. View is nice, partial view of the intracoastal, view of the condos right next door, skyline of the city, weather was wonderful when I was there. Nice and comfy and enjoyed my visits each time I came by. Glad to have come by, would definitely be a spot to come back to! read more

This place is a vibe. You get an awesome view of the city, ample seating inside and outside, great bartenders and yummy drinks. I got the pina colada, tropical version and it was huge. It's a 1-2 drinks kind of place, unless you want to spend a crazy amount of money. I think the view makes up for the cost of the drinks, truly. The service was great. We really enjoyed ourselves and would come back 100%! read more

Love this venue! I came here to celebrate a friend's graduation one evening. We were seated in cute cabana style seating near the pool. I'm a local and I love the vibes of treehouse, but the valet always charges 20$ to park your car and there are no parking meters nearby. The restaurant is okay, drinks are good. Ambiance is amazing and I love the rooftop! The valet is a complete tragedy and it is the reason I don't usually go. They didn't open my doors or even talk at all. Then asked for 20$... read more

This is a rooftop bar atop the Canopy Hotel with beautiful views, cool cocktails selection and food. I had the Endless Summer cocktail paired with the Charred Brussels Sprouts. The cocktail was so smooth and refreshing, it's a vodka and Pinot Grigio mix with fruits. The Charred Brussel Sprouts were cooked amazingly. I like the mix of white miso and pomegranate. read more

Lovely spot sunset drinks! It has a great view of downtown WPB and the Intracoastal. Service was great. Tamara was attentive and informative. She suggested the yuquitas - which were perfectly fried and paired with a slightly spicy mayo. read more

View is great but cost of drinks and food make it pretty tough to enjoy overall. Ordered an old fashioned and got a surprise on the bill. Was 21$ but random 3$ included on that total that said it was for the rocks. The food was almost terrible. Turkey panini was better than the Cuban. I couldn't eat that, it was that bad. Over added the mayo and bun was soggy. Fries were over salted. Go for the view but don't eat. No happy hour but Banter, the bar in the hotel lobby does so go there for drinks and food then upstairs for the view. read more

My host Natalia was Awesome.. i came for the rooftop experiences but it rain.. but it was ok..

Todays dining experience left a lot to be desired - this was my second time at Treehouse and I think after today it'll be my last. Our bartender, Emma, was initially attentive to me and my girlfriend, took our drink/food order right away, (drinks were delicious) though she later disappeared and we never saw her again. Emma was replaced my Brandon who after 30 minutes never once acknowledged us or the fact that both our cocktail and water classes were empty. Looking around us, all other customers drinks were also empty or their order was not yet taken. There were at one point 3-4 staff members behind/around the bar or on their phones standing around. The food was fine though the terrible service & additionally the 20% automatically added gratuity was the cherry on top of our experience. Thank you, next. read more

The food (taco Tuesday) was good. The chicken tacos are shredded and much better than the pork tacos. The ambiance was great. The view is beautiful and worth the visit. The service was slow because the gratuity is already included. read more

3 of us went for dinner on a Sunday evening On the 13th floor pool deck restaurant and bar. We had short ribs flatbread and plantains with guacamole for appetizers excellent dishes. Lobster roll, burger, and salad with chicken as our main course. Service was excellent food was great. Ask any of the servers for anything. They all work together to get the job done and I imagine pool the tips between them all no waiting for your particular server. Desserts were chocolate cake and creme brûlée we asked to make them to go. Great views of the ocean and the city from our high top vantage point. One thing that I didn't like was the $8 valet charge with validation by the restaurant. read more

Drinks were average as best. Service was poor, our server was not knowledgeable of the menu or what the specials were for the day. Had a nice time with a couple of friends. The food was really good and the drinks were really great. And we really loved the crème brûlée. We have been planning to come because my husband has art that was commissioned for the lobby of the hotel. Cove it had prevented us from rolling coming to the facility. But the Tuesday In the Biz is really cool. Would be nice to have a few more options of bites But aside from that We will come back definitely read more

Pros - atmosphere and drinks Cons - slow service even after bringing slow service to their attention Treehouse was beautiful with delicious drinks and nice views. However, the service was very slow from start to finish. Cilantro, cilantro, poor Service, cilantro. Food was passable - if you like cilantro. Atmosphere was lovely, although during rain they do not bring in cushions which left them soaking wet. Wait staff did not do their job in a timely fashion. 15 minutes for return of our credit card to pay the bill - to the surprise of a 20% tip added in. We were a party of two. This was outrageous. West Palm Beach is home to many great spots within walking distance. This was not one of them. read more

The Treehouse is a nice place with beautiful views, located on the 13th floor (Poolside) of the Canopy hotel. The food was delicious & the service excellent. We enjoyed the truffled mushroom flatbread & truffle fries while sipping on Rodney Strong cab & Unshackled cab. What we didn't like was that we paid the check, adding in a nice tip of over 20%, only to find out as we were leaving, that a 20% Gratuity HAD ALREADY BEEN ADDED - even though there were only 2 of us !!! I returned to the bar and asked for my check back & made the adjustment so as not to be tipping 40%+ I can't help but wonder how many unsuspecting travelers get caught on that - someone should have mentioned when the check was delivered that the gratuity had already been included, but why would you automatically include it anyway for a two person check ? I doubt we'll be back. read more

One of the new "view" restaurants in West Palm Beach, with a very limited food menu, loaded with some truly dull options, and a bar that is uninspired Chili's+, at best, that this place draws this kind of rating had to be for the location. Even that is a big zero, as the "View" is mostly of other buildings. The Ben this is NOT. Nine or ten items. On the whole menu? Which looks like it was programmed to come out of a tiny kitchen, with a convection oven, downstairs. Food is a pure afterthought to the alcohol. A Hospitality MBA-crafted snooze fest. The poke tacos were drowned in sauce. The quality of ingredients was fair. The shells had been reheated, or old oil. Yuck. Parking is valet, a lot across the street that's ridiculously expensive, or rare street. You want view? The Ben. You want food and drinks? Anywhere else. read more
