Went for lunch and had their always great margarita. I think we had avocado margaritas. Theirs taste so much better than those I've had at numerous other places. Truly. I got grilled fish tacos with cabbage slaw and tropical fruit salsa. What I liked more, however, was the side dish of curried cauliflower with chickpeas. That's a good combo!

We really enjoyed our lunch here! We have bloody Mary's and wine for drinks. The Mary's were a little spicy but good. We also shared 18 oysters which were delicious. Today I learned a new trick: you want west coast oysters in the summer and east coast oysters in the winter (due to taste flavor seasonality). My gulf shrimp wrap was good, by my friends salmon was REALLY good. Tender and cooked perfectly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a cute outdoor area and service was phenomenal![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We had a really nice dinner at Avocado Grill. The food was fresh, flavorful, and healthy, with a great variety of options. The adult portions were just right, and the kids' chicken tenders and fries came in surprisingly large portions, which was a plus for our little ones. It's definitely on the pricier side, especially for the portion sizes, but the quality and freshness made up for it. We went a bit later in the evening, and everything still came out quickly and well-prepared. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is perfect, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Brunch menus is limited for actual breakfast options but wide variety of lunch menu. Portions size are generous. Bottomless Mimosa is $22 for two hours with purchase of any entree. Avocado is really an option on everything and was fresh. Loved the guac. Our sever Dell was excellent and food came out very fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After 2pm on Sundays there is a DJ and it really turns into a full party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Reservations highly recommended. Street parking.

Solid food and service. A little pricey. Not many vegetarian options, but the manicotti was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean bathrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a good time here.

The lamb sliders were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. The margaritas were also delicious, well-balanced, and paired nicely with the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is lively and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall it was an enjoyable experience I'm happy to return someday.

When we sat down and looked at the menu, we were actually offended lol $9.50 for a side of French fries and $17 for a SIDE of cauliflower & chickpeas? What! We met some friends here so we enjoyed ourselves but I was very taken back by the prices for average food. I ordered the Jerk Mahi Wrap, which was good but the fries I can tell you, are not $9.50 worthy, in any recession. I was pleasantly surprised by the kids meal though. I can really speak for the service because that too was average and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we ended up moving inside because it was miserable outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, wouldn't really recommend unless you have a fat wallet and just want to blow money on an average diner style lunch

I'm in west palm beach for the week and the first time we visited Avocado Grill is was so good and the food was so delicious that we came back a second time! However, the second time the food runner (not our server) spilled our truffle fries all over the table and onto all our other food. It would've been fine if they replaced the food right away or comped us for the mistake but neither happened. We actually had to ask for our food to be replaced and still paid the entire price for the meal. So if we only came that first time I would've given 5 stars because this place is a vibe but I don't think they handled the mistake very well.

We got chips and guac, a dozen oysters, and a few drinks... and walked out over $100 lighter. The food was fine--nothing bad, nothing mind-blowing--but at that price point, I expected to be dazzled. Atmosphere was solid, and my wife loved the decor... so if you're here for the vibes, it delivers. If you're here for value... maybe keep walking (or just get one less drink).

Ambiance & Decor: 4 stars... Inside is clean, stylish, and honestly where you want to be. Outdoor patio? Feels like the restaurant forgot to check in on it. Service: 4 stars... Friendly, attentive, didn't miss a beat. Food (apps & mains): 5 stars... Some big wins, one surprise flop, but overall a strong lineup. Dessert: Didn't get to it. Too full of calamari and fries. Would definitely come back. Already planning my order for next time. Not flawless, but absolutely worth the visit. Now for the real talk: The indoor space is great, well-designed, and actually comfortable. There's a bar that sets the tone the moment you walk in. Outside seating exists... but let's just say it's not as clean as inside and you'll want to be indoors where they clearly spent the design budget. Fried calamari? Knockout. Perfectly crisp, full of flavor, and borderline addictive. Easily one of the best things we had. The grilled mahi tacos were another win... fresh, well-seasoned, and light without being boring. But the sleeper star? The beef short rib with poached eggs. Rich, savory, perfectly cooked. It had no business being that good but here we are. Now... let's talk about the guacamole. Somehow the one letdown of the meal. Soggy, a little sad, and not what you'd expect from a place doing everything else so well and with "avocado" in their name. Honestly shocked! Didn't get to try the shishito peppers, but I already regret it and they're first on the list for next time. The truffle fries? Order them! That's it. Don't ask questions. Just get them. Service was great... friendly, quick, and knew the menu. Felt like they actually cared, which always makes a difference. Would I come back? Without a doubt. Just skipping the guac and doubling down on the fries and short rib next time. This one's a solid spot and definitely earned a return visit.

I found this restaurant in a whim while scrolling yelp and decided to give it a try for the gulf shrimp wrap I saw pictures of. Unfortunately for me that is no longer a menu item, but I'm here so what the heck. I sat at the bar and the service was very friendly! I ordered the edamame dumplings, avocado salad, and grilled shrimp. As someone who loves edamame and dumplings I had high hopes for this dish and it did not live up to the hype. It lacks texture and flavor and in my opinion should be reworked or removed. As for the avocado salad, it was very tasty no complaints. The shrimp were also good, cooked well, and nice flavor. I did find two drinks that were not deveined well so that was unfortunate but does happen every now and again. During the week they have happy hour with 5 dollar dishes and 2 for 1 drinks. I would come back for the happy hour and the service.

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

I've had the crab nachos and the seafood tower and both were terrific. A guy next to us last night had the burger, which I wouldn't choose at a seafood bar, but he seemed happy with it. It was right saltiness with a little kick of the spice. You also get a big prawn on the glass edge. The deep tomato red and prawns soft pink kicked out our appetite. Following the drink, our grilled fish, blackened fish and sealed scallop were all fantastic. Ingredients were so fresh with right temperature and the aroma of the ocean. Fish was soft and juicy; scallops were tender with a nice texture. Especially the scallops sauce was amazing! It was based on tangy ginger and sweet peppers. Every bite gave me a great flavor. Our server was super friendly. He always had a big smile on his face and cared about our food also drinks. The whole dining room was decorated modern yet classic, comfortable seats and high sense dining tables. From window seats, you can enjoy a fabulous ocean view. I do wish they would lighted up a bit more on waterfront sidewalk for a romantic night. I do have some suggestions: it would be great if the salad bowls were served cold. And, I think they should not put pork bacon inside the Bloody Mary since not everyone takes pork. It's just a little nod to respect. Overall, it was fantastic! Out of the world experience. After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.

I've visited every Chef Conley venue, including Stoke Barn. As of this writing,we are not…read moreconsidered stalkers, just normal people who love exceptional dining and service. I talk about the "curb-to-table" experience frequently. In my former role as a Delta Air Line Captain, I recognized the curb-to-plane challenges our customers encountered. Chef Conley has created a friendly and welcoming experience from curb-to-table. It starts with the complimentary valet. Finally. Finally. I learned about our regular valet: MANNY! Manny, thank you for the kindness and safe service you have given us. You are usually the first person who takes care of the Buccan Family. You create the smile before we walk in the doors of Buccan or Imoto. Thank you. Solang' (my spelling is probably wrong and I apologize): You are such a beautiful soul. Thank you for your kind words to Laura as we left. Kindness makes a difference. While kindness is free, sincerity is priceless. Wow, I haven't even chatted about the food. We tried something new this time. After our small plates, we tried the pork chop. The mild onion and sweet rhubarb---simply stunning. Even shared, we boxed some for home. I don't care if you are watching what you eat. Close your eyes! The chocolate cookies (warmed) are a must. Period. Selfishly, I hope Chef Clay never gets a tv show. A book deal is allowed. We want this local treasure and his team to remain anchored here. Clay and his team are own foodie treasure in our back yard. But wait, there's more: Honored to watch Chef Clay modestly expand the Miami environs. He will be opening his Buccan-Imoto-Buccan Sandwich Shop experience in Coral Gables sometime in June/July. OMG, we cannot wait for this to open. Though retired from the airlines (I miss my MIA overnights), we will make the trip to celebrate these new venues. However, we will do it very quietly. We do not wish to be labeled as stalkers. Probably one of my longest reviews. I love seeing hard working people succeed. What this team does for the community is simply breathtaking. This is a true success story. Thank you Buccan-Imoto-Grato-Sandwich Shop-Stokes Barn Team!!!!
