Smashing the croissant kind of takes away what makes it so good in the first place... you lose that fluffy interior and crispy exterior, and it ended up a bit tough. The oysters and side of bacon were my favorites of the table, both super yummy and I'd absolutely order those again. The truffle fries and short rib benedict were also good, just didn't stand out in a big way. And of course, mimosas... no notes there. I was taken here for a birthday lunch recently and we sat outside on a beautiful day. The avocado margaritas are still fantastic. I've had a lot of margaritas, but I think Avocado Grill makes them the best in the area (I will admit that the friends treating me to lunch upgraded to a pricier tequila than the house brand, so I don't know if that makes a significant difference or not). We had guacamole, and the server suggested the ginger guac. I liked it, but one person didn't like the ginger flavor. I was advised to order the short rib fettuccine, and I am so happy I did. It has goat cheese, mushroom and peas. I could do without the latter, but otherwise it's a really delicious dish. The dessert -- which arrived with candles -- was a bit of a disappointment. We all agreed that the chocolate tiramisu is much more chocolate than coffee or mascarpone. No big deal. It just doesn't taste like tiramisu. It was a very good lunch overall. read more

Came here Sunday to celebrate my best friend's birthday for the third year in a row -- it's her go-to spot for a birthday Sunday funday brunch. I ordered the hanger steak and it was cooked perfectly. Loved the flavors of the broccoli and chimichurri. My boyfriend had the quinoa salad; he enjoyed it, but the chicken was a bit dry. We had the same server as last year, and he was very nice and personable. I had a few drinks, but the spicy margarita was way too sweet with too much agave. We'll, they were right, portions were very small, especially for the price. I'm not a fan of massive portions, don't get me wrong, these were definitely tiny for the price. We had several of the dishes: the curried cauliflower, the bang bang and some of the Poke. All were good, but very small, even the 'full size' entre dishes. The service was fair but no refills and the tip options started at 20% which is a pet peave...like would you like to tip 20, 25 or 30% for mediocre service? We asked Our server about it, and he stated he didn't know why and would ask his manager. The manager came to our table while we were still eating. He was angry and loudly stated that he would call the police if we refused to pay. We didn't refuse to pay. We inquired why the new menu prices were higher on our check. He explained that it's industry standard to apply an up-charge. We've never had this happen when dining out. We dined on a Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m., and there were two other tables seated beside us--not a busy time. On our way out, the manager apologized for losing his temper and threatening us while dining. We dine here often, but won't be going back again. The Team at Pink Steak are more experienced in how to treat guests who ask a simple question if ever a discrepancy should arise. read more

10/9/23- My friends and I were working the expo for the Pam Beach Marathon race over the weekend and for our lunch break we came here. There was a bit of a wait for inside seating and we didn't want to sit outside because it was hot and there was no coverage. But, the hostess recommended bar seating. We ended up at the bar which was perfect. It's a small restaurant, the bar is very nice. The decor makes you feel like you're on vacation. I ordered the Chicken BLT sandwich with a side. I had lunch at your establishment with my friends, I left to go pick up my service animal. When I returned a man who did not identify him self as an employee & when I was there the first time he was drinking and having a time. I went and sat down out side waiting for him to move & a woman I assume is heather who did not identify her self said "you are full capacity and can not let me in with my service animal. I asked if I had someone hold him out side can I go in and see my friends YOUR DJ Kristian. She said okay. I walked in maybe 4 steps and the man who said I couldn't come in and who again never identify him self as an employee of your establishment. Him and other patrons grabbed me and choked me out and punch me repeatedly then threw me from your front door to the side seating area. I was choked, punched and thrown onto the sidewalk into the sign: there was 5 of them and 1 of me. I never laid a hand on anyone or showed violence. The worst part your staff begged me not to call the police and when the cops came your staff said I committed battery. Also west palm beach police apologized to me and took away the trespass because I didn't trespass and you guys broke the law by violating ada and disability act. I called this afternoon looking to communicate and to make peace. The manager told me she does not care. Should I sue you and your staff personally ? I don't want too but how can you treat people that way & not follow the law, how can you let patrons to assault someone ? How can you have staff that's does not identify them self ? How can you have staff that's drinking and partying and in street clothes? This wouldn't have happen if your staff were trained right & you letting your staff drink and party. read more
