I personally prefer my burger well done, which can sometimes come across as overcooked, so that's something to keep in mind depending on your preference. For entrées, we also tried the filet mignon au poivre and the scallops with asparagus (the special of the day), both of which were well prepared and enjoyable. The place is so dark inside that you practically need night-vision goggles to read the check, so none of us noticed and almost our entire group tipped another 18-20% on top of it. By the end of the night, we tipped enough to personally fund someone's boat payment. Nearly 40% in gratuity is wild. Then came the bathroom experience. No running water in the sinks, no hand sanitizer... nothing. So apparently we were all just expected to raw dog public restroom germs and head straight back to the dance floor. YIKES. The best part of the night was honestly the people watching. It felt like a live taping of Real Housewives of Palm Beach: designer outfits, dramatic entrances, suspiciously overfilled faces, and enough Botox in the room to stop time itself.
