This review is a bit late and somehow this didn't post but I have fond memories at this place. We came for brunch and it was the most perfect place to sit outside. The drinks were beautifully prepared. I will be back.

Cafe Boulud was a unique experience. This French gem was hidden in what looks like the middle of some upscale houses in a sweet little oasis that was perfect on a day like today to sit outdoors in Florida with a temperature of 75 degrees. We ordered the scones and charcuterie to start. The scones were PHENOMENAL!!!! The butter it came with was shaped into ice cream. The taste was so buttery, fluffy and warm as if it was straight out of the oven. There was a sweetness to it. Gosh they were so delicious! Beware of the charcuterie though, as it did NOT come with cheese. I actually sent it back because the whole point of why I ordered it is because I am a cheese connoisseur. The waiter switched the charcuterie meat platter and brought over an actual cheese platter with Brie, other cheeses, nuts and grapes. For my main course, I ordered the steak and eggs which tasted amazing. They came with potatoes and tomatoes. I ordered my steak medium and eggs overboard. I loved how there was grilled onions that came atop the steak. For dessert, we ordered the Tarte aux Fraises which consisted of strawberries, vanilla cream and basil ice cream. Overall magnificent experience!! Will definitely be back.

What an interesting experience, when you walk you feel like your about to enter a different world. We sat down and were greeted with a professional manner. As we sat at the table, there were bugs flying around, these ants landed on our food landing in my hair. We had to address to the manager, and they came over and moved us. We sat another table. It was lovely. The menu had to be explained to me cause it's in another language, which is was perfectly fine. It was a beautiful French restaurant. The decor was absolutely adorable. We ordered a few items for dinner and then the food came out in a timely fashion. Our guests were so much fun. We laughed and laughed. It got a little loud at the bar, and then it got a lot a lot louder at the bar. Our food came in, with all the respect the prices on the menu did not reflect, did not reflect the food that was put on the plate. I know that's a different way of eating. I guess I'm not used to something like that but when you pay $53 for a piece of fish and you'll only get maybe 3 ounces and the plate is decorated. I guess that is not for me. What we did order was absolutely delicious, as we were leaving the bar area was so loud and so crowded. I didn't realize that we were walking into a disco club if I had known that, then we would never have gone. As we left, all we saw was the DJ everyone dancing and with all the respect, I didn't think that was the type of place that chef Boulud really supported. For me that was a one and done. I will not return.!

Found it via google and it did Not disappoint. First the coffee was solid. A very good cappuccino that dis not need sugar added to it. The scones for a starter: where do I begin? We were pretty hungry after church so we startled with coffee and scones. Wow. I've never had such amazing scones--buttery, soft, not dry and flavorful. The Devonshire cream was perfect with French vanilla beans. I am not over it and just need these shipped to me. Starter salad: smoked salmon with greens in a potato hash basket. Good refreshing satisfying. The ideal warm weather app. Main: Dover sole with yellow rice and au jus. Very good. Nice and lite, perfect as a summer lunch. Chicken with creamed spinach and mash potatoes: very good especially the spinach. Dessert: Panna cotta with mango sherbet and tropical fruit pieces--amazing and refreshing. Birthday dessert: the waiter said it was a rice de leche mousse but it didn't taste like it. It actually didn't have a ton of flavor and we couldn't tell what it tasted like. Overall great experience, great service from Curtis and the team.

Cafe Boulud has been on my try list for a while and my boyfriend just took me as a surprise. We had a hard time finding the restaurant at first once we found street parking but when we located it, it was beautiful! Dimly lit but a candle at our table - this was romantic. I hands down wanted the beef tartare here. I loved the tableside presentation and it tasted very fresh. There were a few items I would try but we ended up splitting a tomahawk steak and sides. Presentation was everything. The server made sure we received sauces to go with our meal as well. There was a hiccup where they sent us the wrong type of spinach but the server let us keep it and came back with the correct item, cream of spinach for us. Overall this was an amazing meal with a very aesthetic view. We loved the food. It was a bit overpriced but it was a nice splurge.

Exceptional! Especially for brunch. The French omelette is the best with mushrooms and a beautiful lightly dressed salad. The white cranberry cosmo is a must try. The patio and courtyard areas are simply stunning. Top notch experience always.

Bread - nothing special about it all so I didn't even mention it in my review

This is my second time having dinner at this restaurant. Both instances were for my boyfriend's birthday. **Plenty photos!** I love dining on Palm Beach and normally the offerings are absolutely fantastic. That's one of the great things about living in this area is that you can literally have five star dining experiences all the time right around the corner from your house. I was a bit disappointed with our service. Our struggled with simple things like pronunciation of the menu itemsNot that it was a big deal, but it's almost like she was questioning herself and therefore struggling to articulate the names of the dishes but also the details of each dish. She did make good recommendations for us, though. I think that was just pure luck though lol. I felt like the service was a bit canned, there was nothing special about it. It seemed like she decided to give a positive recommendation for everything we asked about. I appreciate straightforward honesty when it comes to recommendations from servers. Especially at a place like this where I'm expecting top level service. The food items were great overall. I didn't care for the charcuterie board, but I didn't order it. Someone else in my party did. It was also very small for the price. But that wasn't a shock or anything, especially in this economy. It's just something that I'm noting. The other apps were, steak, tartare prepared table side, and a dozen oysters. The oysters were by far the best app. I gotta say I like the idea of steak tartare, b/c of his cousin the ever so delicious tuna tartare. But I would never order it. Again, someone else at the table ordered that appetizer (it was the man I love y'all ). The entrées were the pasta that they swirl around in the cheese wheel at table side with shaved black truffles, the halibut with vegetables, and the shrimp with risotto. Everybody enjoyed their meals, but we did notice inconsistencies with the cheese wheel pasta! The first portion was amazing. The second portion was OK. And the third portion which was placed into the cheese wheel last had the most oil in the bowl, and the least cheese flavor and presents in the bowl. That third portion of pasta sat there for the longest so it cooled off, and it didn't heat the cheese will properly when it was put inside and swirled around. So they need to work on that. We overheard some confused discussion about who was gonna do what task in the presentation of that cheese when pasta. Maybe if they figured out ahead of time (and not at table side lol) then we wouldn't have had that issue. For dessert we ordered the peanut sponge cake, the chocolate and almond mousse, and the cheesecake. The chocolate almond mousse was by far the star. The other two desserts were beautifully presented, but the flavor configuration didn't do it for us. The ambiance was beautiful as always, but there was no sign of the valet when it was time to leave so we had to grab some one to find the valet and get the car brought around. Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! Enjoy!

Filet w/ Oxtail stuffed cabbage/ Duck fat potato

Chef Daniel Boulud is amazing! Everything I tried was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and at the right temperature. The Tuna tartar was fresh with crunchy chips, the Pate had the perfect texture and paired amazing with all the accoutrements but the star of the show had to be the Filet with Oxtail stuffed cabbage, it was cooked a perfect med rare with a fresh herb sauce on the bottom. Bar drinks were also good, got a margarita and a mezcal Black manhattan. Portions are quite small and food took a little while to arrive. 15-20 mins between courses. But deff Recommend to anyone in Palm beach.

This restaurant is located in the Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club. Beautiful interior. Valet parking. Walking to and from the restaurant, it smelled like mold in the walkway. Hopefully that smell is temporary. The food was good. Enjoyed everything: foie gras, pate, crusty bread, loup de mer (fish), tomahawk steak, salad (basic but fresh and crisp), potato puree, my white cosmopolitan cocktail, The tomahawk tasted a tinge gamey for me. The truffle cacio pepe was decadent and delicious. We tried the raspberry sorbet meringue, chocolate (lava) cake with pistachio ice cream, something like a Snickers/Twix cake with ice cream. The service was attentive, but we were disappointed that they didn't move us to a larger table to accommodate our large order. The table was uncomfortably full that there was a "danger" of knocking stuff off. Indeed a fork went flying off the table.

Love the "Palm Beach" relaxed atmosphere the Lobby Lounge has.. the vibe is classic and magical! Cafe Boulard lounge has comfortable seating... the couches are perfect for a relaxing cocktail or glass of wine after a day of shopping on Worth Avenue .. the service is always warm and welcoming! It's one of our favorite places for a glass of wine! I highly recommend!!!

This upscale French restaurant located in Palm Beach in the historic Brazilian Court Hotel, close to Worth Avenue is an award winning restaurant. Famed Daniel Boulub, the famous Michelin chef offers an exquisite menu. We each had the three course Price Fixe special lunch menu $52 currently offered Monday to Sunday. I had the Salad, Grilled Wahoo and the Chocolate Cake. Everything was so delicious. My friend had the Sole, $15 more. It looked and tasted great until her last bite which she said was terrible. She didn't want to say anything. Other than that, it was a great experience. A 20% gratuity is added to the check. The service was very nice.

I came in on a whim on a Friday morning to enjoy a quiet breakfast after a contemplative walk on the beach. For the uninitiated this is a 1 Michelin-star restaurant owned by Chef Daniel Boulud. I have been eyeing this restaurant for a few years so I took this as an opportunity to scope it out. I sat at a corner table facing some of the beautiful greenery visible through the outside windows. The morning light in the room is wonderful. I was wearing a more casual dress at the time. I did not look out of place but I would say for dinner look presentable. I enjoyed the New Yorker toasted bagel, with smoked salmon, red onion, green olive schmear and sun-dried tomato. Beautifully presented. The real star of my dining experience were the scones with Devonshire cream. Divine. Scones like none I had ever had before. They came out warm and the cream when applied melted beautifully onto the crisp outer surface. I will never have another unwarmed scone again. In fact, all other scones will be compared to these. They set the bar high. The service was top notch. Unobtrusive but attentive. While I was there a food photographer was taking photos of the next seasonal lineup. I got to meet the head chef and the general manager. Both great people. If you choose to come for breakfast on a weekday it is quiet and serene. A group of 5 women vacationing came in while I was finishing up my meal and they were a little more boisterous. I think one day I may come back for lunch or dinner. I do think that this experience was well-worth it. The price is what it is - you are paying for the ambience, service, and the food which is par excellence. Definitely a place to have a commemorative meal.

I give this a 4/5 star review. I thought the location was great and a very live atmosphere. The…read moreservice was very professional although not great enough for 5 stars. The were very detailed oriented but stopped checking the table after the appetizers leaving us to skip on additions cocktails because we were already finished with eating along with regular drinks. They also took a very long time to take our plates to go. Maybe 15-20 minutes of just waiting around for the bill. The food is great but nothing is as good as the beef Wellington. What you see in the picture is one order. So very much so a great value for what you are served. Delicious all around and with a few hiccups to fix this will be a 5/5 review.

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

Came here with my bf while we were visiting the area. It was a Sunday afternoon and they were BUSY…read more The hostess was no where to be found for a while but finally we were able to put our names down for a table. The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. Next time we're in the area I need to come back here. So good!!!

Small, limited menu, but all items are properly executed and taste delicious!!…read more Our table ordered a bunch of things and shared them all- the dip duo (jalapeño queso and guacamole with chips), chicken meatballs, crispy chicken sandwich (homemade torta, Swiss, tomato, spicy slaw), the burger (with a side of spicy mayo), deviled eggs, shoestring fries with seasoning, and the prime rib sandwich (with Jack cheese and horseradish). My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

It was definitely not packed for a Thursday night on clematis but it's also off season and we were promptly seated when we got there. I made a reservation but you definitely don't need one. Our waitress immediately brought us water and was able to take all of our orders all the food and drinks came out super fast. I did ask for my salad dressing on the side which wasn't done which is why I'm taking off one star but that's ok. It did end up getting a bit loud once we were about to head out around 9PM so we couldn't hear each other but definitely more people started to come in. All in all we all paid about $30 each for this special which is not bad at all since it included a drink and very good portion sizes. That blackened chicken was divine and so flavorful!
