I went to an event here- everything was perfect from the bartenders to the wait staff. They offered crab cakes, sushi, plantain and taro chips? hummus with veggies, and sliders and chicken fingers! The place has an open feeling and I love that it opens up right to the ocean. The Breakers always gives you a relaxed and exquisite feeling! Love the grounds of the hotel as well!

Fabulous to the restaurant at the Breakers. Ocean views with spectacular food. Yes it's pricey but it's at the Breakers so if you can't afford it don't come here. Outstanding service which is expected at any restaurant at the Breakers. I love this place. Looking forward to my next trip.

No one: Me: I love the little mermaid and I love love LOVE seafood. --- Excellent food. Ambiance reminds me of oceanaire, rightfully so. Unique fish tank bar that struck my fancy. App: oysters on the half shell served with cocktail sauce and Tabasco and whaaaaaa? No horse radish?!!! Sheesh. Salad: hubby got 1/2 Caesar; I got 1/2 mixed greens. Side: truffle Gorgonzola fries were actually really good. You must be open-minded though. The texture looks slimy but underneath are normal crispy fries. Mains: i got scallops and omg it was D I V I N E. 3 Scallops were cooked In a sweet sauce placed atop blue crab fried rice. I highly recommend this meal. Hubby got seafood linguine. The description indicates it's like cioppino. This is false advertising. Cioppino is a soup with no pasta. This reminded me of the seafood linguine from macaroni grill (btw RIP Macaroni grill). Needless to say it was too red-saucy. We were stuffed and had no room for key lime pie. Btw... why aren't there conch fritters on this island???

Very good but expensive. Worth it though. They serve burgers and fries and also have plenty of Seafood. It's a lovely place. It also has very friendly staff and offers lovely water views. It's a great place to grab a spot of lunch.

While I was staying at The Breakers I wanted to head out by the pool and grab a bite to eat. This restaurant has a great view of the pool so I opted to eat outside. Staff was very friendly and attentive! The place is pricey, but it's The Breakers. I opted for a Turkey and Granny Smith Apple Burger. I felt it was a healthy option but still more filling that just a salad. At $21 I was hoping for a massive burger and tons of fries but at least it was very tasty! The combination was a fresh spring twist on a typical burger. I wanted to peek at the dessert menu and my server told me about an amazing dessert that was not on the menu but one of her favorites. Not on the menu? Sign me up for this secret creation! Love ice cream? Check! Love cookies? Check! love an ice cream sandwich bigger than your face? Check check check! So worth it! It was so delicious! I had people coming up to my table just to ask about it!

I dont know how this got a 1 dollar sign...our lunch consisting of a burger and cesar salad was $100! Definitly not worth it.

I appreciate how seamless the takeout experience is. I order online, pick it up or get it delivered and it's right every time. That being said, I have *dined in* a handful of times and the service here is not great. Each time, we've had several items come out incorrect, items missed, neglected by our server and begging for refills... a server even tried to gaslight us into thinking we ordered differently (an item I'm literally unable to eat) and we had to replay the events back to her. It's not a good look for such a nice establishment. Fortunately we've always been comped for server mistakes. I'll continue to order takeout, I'll even dine in again (the food is that good) but I will come with lower expectations; I won't bring clients here anymore, maybe just casual lunch with hubby.

The chicken tenders were very flat and felt meatless. Pretty dry, I know everything here is fresh and healthier however the chicken lacked flavor and did taste like frozen (which obviously I know they aren't) anyways, fries were regular nothing extravagant. We ordered a pizza too (not pictured) and that was good, always love their pizzas. I'd visit again just get a different dish.

The food was delicious. In order of best/must try: Drink: Bloody Mary: homemade tomato juice and the hint of horseradish was perfection. Food: 1) crab Benedict- crab stuffed cakes with perfectly cooked eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. 2) filet + eggs + grits. The perfect amount of grits that were creamy and delicious. The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints. We won't be able to navigate a second visit this trip, but would 100% put it on our to-dos the next time.

When I checked Howley's on yelp I was surprised that there were so many negative reviews. Howley's is managed by the Sub-Culture Group, and we dine regularly at Kapow in East Boca and Dada in Delray Beach, also managed by Sub-Culture. And while this is an entirely different type of food, I still wanted to take a chance and check them out. And we did and were pleased and more than satisfied. First, the decor is truly funky. I'm not sure if everything is from the 50's when they first opened, but it sure looked like it was. The restaurant was spotless, and the toilet was as well. The AC was strong which was appreciated. Artwork on the walls was not our style but must have been from a local artist. Ceiling fixtures were similar to what my parent's had in the late 60's. Jessica was our server and she was professional and positive in her attitude. Could not have asked for anything more. Decided to order a turkey club on rye bread ($15) with fries which were included and share it. Some of the reviews addressed how large their portions were and photos confirmed it. Jessica brought out the sandwich which was split in the kitchen with an ample amount of fries on each plate. The fries were delicious. Obviously freshly made and not sitting around, they were crisp without being overcooked. The turkey was described as fresh roasted sliced turkey and it sure was. Bacon was plentiful and crispy along with fresh lettuce and tomato. Mayo served on the side as requested. The sandwich was so large that I was only able to eat a half of my half, taking the rest home for the following day. Ordered a corn muffin and chocolate chip muffin to take home and each was fresh and delicious. ($5-$6) Howley's certainly warrants a visit if you are in the area and not seeking a trendy looking place which exists all over West Palm where the food may not be as good but the vibe is what is being sold with mediocre food. There was an on-site manager who visited our table to make sure all was good. I neglected to ask her name and apologize - she was welcoming and clearly on top of her managerial duties. Would I return? Sure would. And endorse fellow helpers to check them out.
