Such a cute location. Server was attentive and sweet. Not too busy for lunch and the restaurant was clean and beautiful. You really get the beach feeling (and the beach is also steps away)! Food was great also. Would definitely want to come back to see what they serve for dinner.

This restaurant is in a beautiful spot near the beach, and the location alone makes it worth checking out. The ocean breeze and relaxing atmosphere set the perfect tone for a nice evening out. Inside, the space has an open-concept layout with plenty of natural lighting, giving it a bright and airy feel. Service started off a little slow since it took some time for our server to greet us even though it wasn't busy yet, but once things got going, the appetizers and entrees came out lightning fast. The cocktails were decent, though nothing particularly creative or memorable. The food overall was good, but not quite great enough to justify the higher price point. That said, the fish and chips and the scallop dish were definitely the highlights of the meal and stood out the most. One of the best parts of the experience was being able to finish dinner and head straight to the beach for a relaxing walk along the ocean. The ambiance and location make this a really nice choice for a first date dinner or a casual evening with someone special.

It's always fun playing tourist in south Florida! And if you are an actual visitor/tourist, this would be a nice way to enjoy the beach and the ocean while dining in a more refined way. After being sick for a few days, I was seeking the restorative powers of the ocean. I love the smell and feel of the salt air and the rhythmic view and sound of the ocean waves. We decided to try this restaurant that I'd bookmarked a while back. The restaurant is located at the south end of the "casino" building (as it used to be called). There's a large bar inside along with a smaller one. And lots of seating. And tables -- including high tops -- on the outside patio. Some tables have umbrellas. And it's a pretty setting. Even though the beach is below (via stairs), you can see the beach and hear the ocean from your outside table. We had excellent service throughout thanks to Harlen (sp?). She was efficient, yes, but she also had personality plus. She asked all the right questions. And she anticipated our needs. We started by sharing an order of conch fritters as our appetizer. There were five to the order. They came with a tasty dipping sauce on the side. We both liked the fritters. There was a slight hint of spice and some nice chewy bits of conch. I'd order these again. Next, my husband got a dozen east coast oysters on the half shell. These came with lemon, a mini bottle of tabasco, and a cucumber mignonette sauce. They were small, but briny and refreshing. My husband even used some of the conch fritter sauce for dipping. I had a wedge salad to which I added shrimp. The salad was huge. Big wedges of iceberg lettuce that were topped with crispy bacon, small, halved tomatoes, and ranch dressing along with my added shrimp -- that was grilled. I got a few of the other items that normally come with the salad on the side (for hubby to enjoy): feta cheese, crispy shallots, and chives. It was very good. Harlen even brought out some extra dressing for me. And I wound up taking a portion home for dinner. Prices are a tad high, but you are paying for the view and ambiance. And as an upscale dining venue, it's on par with inland restaurants of its ilk. Would we go back again? Yes. Would we take out of town guests here? Absolutely!

AWesome day on the beach playing Tourist! We have been coming to Lake Worth Beach for over 30 years, particularly this location, from John G's, and through other transitions. OCEANWALK is a hit and hopefully will be around for a while! Friendly folks here and did not have to wait long for a beachside table to open and be cleaned for us. Our server HARLEN was the best! She answered all of our questions, including a trip to the kitchen to ask the chef about a particular sauce ingredient that was unfamiliar to us. She checked on us frequently and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We shared some Conch Fritters and I saved the sauce to try with some of my oysters. My Oysters were small but clean and expertly shucked from the shells. My wife enjoyed her Wedge salad with the extra added large grilled shrimp. A wonderful experience to be repeated, hopefully at Harlen's station ... and soon!

Vietnamese Wings (after chowing down a couple)

I just love this place...the fresh ocean breeze wafting through is the absolute best way to treat an ocean front location Not being a chicken person, I ventured out of my comfort zone to try the Vietnamese wings on the bar snack menu Shockingly good comes to mind...and the simple wing is elevated to great effect The sauce is Asian-style sweet but not overpowering in terms of flavor or quantity Served on a bed of creamed avocado and sprinkled with mint leaves, roasted peanuts and dried fried onions, the presentation was exquisite The unusually sliced lime on the side cut the sweetness of the sauce perfectly My picture does not do the dish justice Did I mention the 4 meaty wings were just $8 ? Incredible value... You will not be disappointed

I enjoyed my experience here at Ocean walk. I came on a Wednesday late morning/early afternoon, and there weren't too many people here. It was quiet, right across the street from the water, a beautiful view, people watching, and overall it just felt good to be sitting outside here. I ordered the oysters and the bread and butter side floor an appetizer. I could've done without the bread but the oysters were really fresh and tasty. For my entrée I got the Wagyu burger and fries, and although it was a little red when they first brought it out, they had no problem taking it back and remaking it. If you order that, let them know upfront how you want your Wagyu to be cooked. I think it's supposed to be cooked a little more on the medium rare side, but I'm OK eating Wagyu at a medium well doneness. For drinks I had the watermelon Mojito; it's on the menu as a "nojito", but I had them add liquor to it and it was just delicious. They also brought me out a special piña colada, it was pink and served in a short glass, but actually really tasty, not too coconut, and somehow feels very "Florida", and that's something I don't usually say especially being a native of Florida. Lastly, they brought me out their special Keylime pie, which was a beautiful presentation, and absolutely delicious, a very well-made done Keylime pie. Megan was my server and she did a great job taking care of me and making sure I had everything I needed without issue. Overall I give this place an 8.5 out of 10.

    Millionaire burger

The burger was worth the price. It was superbly prepared and delicious. The crab linguine was $44 and a disappointment. Technically it's not even linguine, it was angel hair and just lacked flavor, especially at that price point. The crabmeat was overwhelmed by the artichokes. I wish I had also ordered the burger. The key lime pie was rather good and easily the best thing we ordered. All in all, with tax and tip, plus a bottle of peligrino and the ice cream I didn't take a photo of, came to $134. You can do better for that price point. I expected the linguine to be amazing and it was meh. It was certainly priced to be amazing. The venue was also underwhelming. The beach is on the other side of the street and cars and trucks parade past, many of them revving engines and showing off the full capacity of their subwoofer in a juvenile manner. The staff was very nice and should be commended on their pleasant and bubbly personalities.

We went out with some friends for Brunch and decided to go to this new place on the water different then Benny's across the street but new and versatile menu. We started with drinks, cafés and any order of UBE Panckakes with spicy Pinaple Soy maple syrup. Andres was our server who made some great brunch and lunch menu suggestions. We ordered, the millionaire breakfast - 2 eggs bacon, hashbrowns, sourdough bread. My wife ordered the avocado toast, with smoked Salmon. Our friend ordered Ahi Tuna Poké. We sat outside on a cool overcast day that was perfect! Everything was delicious! Poke was a little spicy with the peppers and wasabi aioli. So if you don't like spicy let them know to remove it. Basic eggs and bacon, that were good. Loved the ambiance and oceanviews.

    Michael M.

Family in town is always a great reason for lunch on the water, and Benny's seemed a great place to do it! A wonderful view of the ocean and a sea breeze helped elevate the day even more. Our server 'Rachel' was friendly and easily the best part of the meal. Bloody Mary's were tasty but their "garnish" was sadly just lemons, limes, and olives. Appetizers were great! We had a Ceviche (mahi & grouper) that definitely benefited from a tiny taste of coconut, and Thai tuna served atop crispy wontons. Sadly, lunch itself was nowhere near as good as the starters. My fish & chips was okay, nothing to write home about though, as the batter had no crispiness and fell off as soon as you touched it, and the Cuban sandwich my brother ordered was tasteless, little better than a Publix version.

This is a great beach location with easy access. There was plenty of parking in the beach lot(for a fee) and it was a 5 minute walk to the corner restaurant. In addition to the Oysters and drinks, I had a marvelous fish tacos dish. Our servers were attentive and there were certainly nice views. This is my favorite spot on Lake Worth beach.

Layla was great! Very attentive service. We ordered pasta for my daughter and a watermelon juice. Topped off my drink before we left and gave us extra watermelon slices after she noticed us chowing down on the decor slice. Will have to come back to try their food.

Ocean view at sunset is cool
    Brian R.

The view? Pretty great. Like all the view restaurants that I know of in this area, they are either overpriced, terrible or both. This is an or both. I asked the server for a drink that I prefer. She did not come back and tell me that they were going to overcharge me for the liquor by quite a bit. I would've changed my order at that point so instead I was paying seven dollars for a quarter ounce of liquor twice so I had two $30 drinks that should've been nothing more than about 15 to 18. Which I would've been happy to pay. I ordered some supposedly "Key West shrimp." They were not from Key West. They were medium shrimp, and cooked dry as dust. Fool me once? Shame on you. Fool me twice? I won't be back again. I won't even pay that much for the sunset.

We took our client for dinner here on Tuesday night which was perfect because it wasn't crowded. My intention was to sit outside overlooking the ocean, but because it was so windy they put us inside. Carly was our waitress and she was very sweet and gregarious. As well as being adept at her job. She reviewed the menu with us and told us the specials and we ordered white sangria as our drinks and had a conch fritter appetizer to share. That was delicious. Afterwards we had our entrées delivered. I had the Pompano fish with bok choy, which was their daily special. It was a beautiful portion, very delicious and fresh. For dessert we had their highly rated Keylime pie and coffee. The venue has seating inside, but it's not as big as I had thought from the last time I came with a Yelp event. I believe it would be very special to sit outside on a nice day overlooking the ocean and view the sunset. Parking is not an issue. They have a lot behind them and around them using ParkMobile. It's recommended to get reservations here. The food is excellent.

The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

Worth Every Bite & We Will Definitely Be Back! We celebrated…read moremy spouse's birthday at Off the Clock, and our experience was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were greeted so nicely by the host at the front, and I immediately loved the personal touch he already knew us by our first names when we arrived. He made us feel welcomed right away and also gave us some great recommendations on what to try. The restaurant was busy, but it never felt overcrowded. The music was playing, the energy was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for a birthday dinner and date night. One thing I really appreciate is that reservations are required. It makes the experience feel much more personal and intentional rather than trying to pack as many people into the restaurant as possible. Now, let's talk about the FOOD because we definitely came ready to eat!  We tried: * Shrimp Martini - $20 Spiked cocktail sauce, avocado, red onion & cilantro * OTC Wings - $17 We did half Jerk Glaze and half Honey Glazed * Roasted Brussels Sprouts - $13 Charred and tossed in roasted garlic aioli * House Mac & Cheese - $15 Lumaconi pasta baked in their house-made Mornay cheese sauce with Parmesan crumbs * Roasted Salmon - $37 Caramelized fennel, roe beurre blanc & chives * The OTC Burger - $23 Signature house blend, OTC rub & toasted brioche bun And I can confidently say the food was worth EVERY bite and every dollar. We ordered a little bit of everything because we wanted the full experience, and there wasn't anything that came to the table that we regretted ordering. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and the quality made the prices completely worth it. Now, the DRINKS! We honestly tried so many that we don't remember all of the names , but we stayed mostly on the whiskey side of the cocktail menu, and the drinks did not disappoint. We each tried about three different cocktails throughout the night, and you could tell that just as much thought went into the drinks as the food. One that definitely stood out was a nostalgic cocktail that incorporated Jamaican rum. That Jamaican rum added such a spectacular touch to the drink and made it one of the more memorable cocktails of the night. The cocktail program alone gives us another reason to come back because there are still so many drinks we want to try. Our servers, Keiry and Kayle, took great care of us throughout the night. They were attentive, welcoming, and added to an already great experience. Another major highlight was the owner. He was spectacular! He interacted with everyone throughout the restaurant, which is something you don't see everywhere. You could tell he genuinely cared about his guests and the experience they were having. Since it was my spouse's birthday, he wanted to try something that wasn't on the menu, and the owner personally made him a specialty cocktail. That extra touch made the night even more memorable and really showed the level of hospitality at Off the Clock. Between being greeted by name at the door, the recommendations, the food, the cocktails, the service, the music, and even the owner taking the time to interact with us, the entire experience felt personal from beginning to end. Before we left, they told us about their brunch, and now I can't wait to experience that too! We're already planning to come back because there are still more items on the menu and definitely more cocktails that we want to try. If you're looking for a place with great food, craft cocktails, good music, attentive service, and an atmosphere that feels like an actual experience instead of just another dinner, Off the Clock is absolutely worth the reservation.

Hopefully Pamona sticks around because it has a nice vibe and feels like a place we'd enjoy coming back to. We definitely plan to return, especially to take advantage of that happy hour! Overall, my wife and I had a great time and enjoyed discovering a fairly new spot in downtown Lake Worth.

The bar area was pretty busy when we walked in a little after 4:30. Lovely bartender advised us to sit anywhere we would like. We grabbed a high top table for our party of six. A courteous waiter came over to bring us menus. We perused over the happy hour menu but I already had my sites set on my cocktail. I still asked the waiter for a suggestion and to my surprise the espresso martini was the first offered which is what I decided on anyway. It was sooooo strong so I was able to sip it the entire time we were there. A side of fries and the salted pretzels were ordered for the table. The fries were crispy and delicious. The pretzel was just ok and definitely needed the beer cheese to make it taste better. I ordered the smash burger to go. The fries were still the better choice as the burger was pretty bland. Overall we had a great time and the staff were terrific. I would try the margarita if I ever came back here as if my picky coworker was content with it...must be a good drink.

We decided to try the pulpo anticuchero (octopus) as our starter. Holy moly it looked so amazing we didn't want to cut into it but that anticucho sauce was so full of garlic flavors we demolished it along with the potatoes and tomatoes. Listen that sauce was so tempting that we risked cyclospora disease by eating the lettuce. The soup of the day was minestrone which I'm not a fan of but it was a flavorful pesto base so I enjoyed. For my entree I got the pollo la pobre. The grilled chicken breast is always juicy and comes with a fried egg on top if you're looking to up your protein and a ton of rice that I usually cannot finish. I mainly just stuck with the fries on this one. I was so full I could barely eat the sweet plantains. The huancaina sauce (creamy mild spicy cheese sauce) goes so well with everything you will want to keep stuffing your face. Never a bad bite and the staff are always pleasant. Lunch is always a great time here.

We got steak and short rib dishes and the meat was great. The included sides were also very good and the portions were pretty generous. For desert, we got the passion fruit cheesecake. It was very good, especially the crust. The staff were friendly and prompt. The food took a little bit to get out, but it was worth it. I would definitely return in the future.

Our group was welcomed with attentive, friendly service from start to finish. The standout dishes for me were the crispy Brussels sprouts and the colossal shrimp cocktail--the shrimp were enormous and so fresh! I also loved my salad. I sampled the pepperoni and spinach pizzas, but since I'm not a big pizza person, they just weren't my favorites. Thankfully, there were plenty of other delicious options. There were burgers and fries to try as well as shrimp potstickers- the potstickers ranked high for me! The atmosphere is what really makes this place special. Sitting outside overlooking the golf course is peaceful and beautiful, and there's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Running into a friend there was the icing on the cake! They also had I e cream and a large cookie dessert which others liked. A glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc was the perfect way to end a wonderful evening. Great food, great service, great setting--I can't wait to come back!

My husband got the ribs and the flavors in the BBQ sauce were definitely next level! My salmon on top of garlic yucca and a mango sauce has every bite hitting a little different - in the best way. But the real star of the show was Izeem - at my elbow with a new lemonade just before I finished the first. He was an absolute pro; attentive without being intrusive, anticipating without hovering. Overall, great food and a great server!

The fish tacos were just alright--nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. The lobster roll had good flavor but was served cold, which was a bit disappointing since I was expecting it warm. Surprisingly, the french fries were the standout: crispy, perfectly seasoned, and honestly the best part of the meal. Service was pretty slow. It wasn't terribly crowded, but we waited quite a while to place our order and even longer to get our food. For the price, I expected a bit more. Not a bad spot if you're already on the beach and don't mind waiting a bit. But for the cost, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

If you want to be able to get a table on the ocean anytime of year without a reservation come here!…read moreThe view is amazing, the staff is great and it's never packed (unsure if people realize the restaurant is open to public and not just hotel guests). The menu is not large for American classics but they do have a sushi bar and you can order off that menu as well. We brought our infant and they were super accommodating for him and brought out a high chair that looked as if it had never been used. We got a watermelon salad, half chicken and burger (only on the lunch menu but they will make it at dinner if you ask). The salad was more than enough for 2 people to split with plenty of watermelon, avocado and goat cheese. The half chicken was well seasoned and not over cooked. Veggies and puree were tasty but definitely had more butter than I would have used at home. Burger was done appropriately and my husband liked that he could get mashed potatoes with it instead of fries. After dinner they let us keep our stuff at the table while my husband took a swim in the ocean. Just a great atmosphere and location. You definitely can't find another place that relaxing and quiet on the ocean on Palm beach.
