We came with a pretty big group of 8-10 people, mostly girls ready for a fun night out and some dancing at Cucina Palm Beach. They were still moving tables around when we got in line, which should've been our first warning sign that the night was going to operate on "Palm Beach time." Now, my club-line era officially expired sometime around low-rise jeans and flip phones, but the group really wanted to go, so I didn't want to be the Debbie No-Dancing Downer. Even though the line wasn't that long, it still took a solid 20-30 minutes to get inside because they kept letting "VIP" people skip ahead. Apparently everyone in Palm Beach is either a VIP, dating a VIP, or pretending to be one. There's no cover charge, which at first feels generous... until you realize they automatically add a 20% gratuity to your bill. The place is so dark inside that you practically need night-vision goggles to read the check, so none of us noticed and almost our entire group tipped another 18-20% on top of it. By the end of the night, we tipped enough to personally fund someone's boat payment. Nearly 40% in gratuity is wild. Then came the bathroom experience. No running water in the sinks, no hand sanitizer... nothing. So apparently we were all just expected to raw dog public restroom germs and head straight back to the dance floor. YIKES. The best part of the night was honestly the people watching. It felt like a live taping of Real Housewives of Palm Beach: designer outfits, dramatic entrances, suspiciously overfilled faces, and enough Botox in the room to stop time itself. Absolutely entertaining. The music was actually pretty good, but the place was so packed there was barely room to dance. At one point I think I burned more calories trying to squeeze past people than actually moving to the music. If you're looking for a true dance floor, this probably isn't it unless your dance style is "slight shoulder movement while holding a drink." read more

My wife and I definitely had a 5 star dining experience, including our server Daniel. He was engaging and knowledgeable, and I trusted his recommendations. I had won another Instagram giveaway. I made a 5:30 pm Saturday reservation. Parking along the street was free. I was going to use valet , but that service wasn't available at that time. Daniel informed us about the happy hour cocktail and food prices, all basically 10 bucks. I had a delicious whiskey sour, but they used a lime as a garnish. Who garnishes a whiskey sour with a lime? We ordered the arancini for our appetizer. Taleggio filled, crispy rice balls with pecorino and black truffle crema (3 pieces). So good. For dinner I ordered the lobster fettuccini , and my wife ordered the Aussie Wagyu short rib. Both delicious and both paired perfectly with a glass of wine. We were not going to get dessert, but what the hell , I have a gift card, so we went with the French donuts with a berry sauce and melted chocolate. They were amazeballs . These short ribs were to die for. The fresh parsley was very heavy. We picked off put to the side. The ribs melt in your mouth. Rating: 5/5 Recommendation: ORDER ORDER SALTIMBOCCA tender veal or chicken breast cutlets with prosciutto, organic spinach and taleggio cheese, white wine pan sauce, vegetables & pomme puree $39. This was sneaky good. The three of us ended up loving this dish the best. Under the veal was a nice surprise mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The veal was so tender the sauce was so rich not heavy. Rating: 5/5 Recommendation: ORDER ORDER We had 2 desserts I can't recall what we ordered as I'm not big on dessert. The food overall did not disappoint all of the dinners were rich and bursting with unexpected flavors. Service was excellent. Waitress provided recommendations and brought all the dishes out very quickly. There was a woman lurking in the corner on a laptop she might have been an owner pretending to work. Employees seemed to be walking on eggshells- the vibe was strange. The restaurant turns into a club/lounge. The drinks were very good just expensive. This place has a really fun and unique concept that really make it stand out: at 10pm they scoop up all the tables and open up the area to become a club. Even as someone who doesn't drink or enjoy going to a club, I think this is such a fun concept that can really bring a second layer of enjoyment to your group get together. I went here with a group of 22 people and I have to say, the staff and the kitchen didn't miss a beat. Cups never ran dry, our food was out hot and on time with plenty to go around. The food wasn't mind blowing good, but it was better than mid. I wouldn't say you would come here for their excellent food, more so the convenience of being and to seat large parties while still getting great service and a fun ending to the evening. If it's not your jam, be sure to skiddle by 10 (like me) but even I'll admit, my booty started grooving as they began the transition. Great concept and great experience! read more

This place is in the hustle and bustle of West Palm Beach and has a vibe of a late night beach party. The food was really good and hit the spot for a nice Italian restaurant. The only thing I'd do differently is not get seated by the specials and stuck with the "original" menu only because I'm having some fomo on not ordering the buratta ravioli! The frito misto was good with a light flavorful batter but I'll likely not get it again because the shrimps were hard to eat. The waitress warned us but I was thinking it would be larger shrimps not baby ones. The sorrentino was unique and good but had just a little too much truffle for my liking, I'd also would have loved to have had some kind of starch to go with it. Do NOT come here if you are an LGBTQ person. Was told I couldn't come in because of the dress code (was wearing Hermes sandals). That was fine, but then they let me in as soon as they saw I was with a bachelorette of 8 people. When they did let me in, one of the bouncers pulled me aside and told me to drink water despite several women in short dresses being far more inebriated. Cute hole in the wall in Palm Beach! The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, safe and luxurious. It's located right over the bridge in Palm Beach, with free 2 hour parking right across the street or free valet. Food wise, we went for happy hour and it's was very tasty! Everything on the happy hour menu is about $12-14 including drinks, so for a happy hour it is still a touch pricey. The arancini is a must order! It's absolutely delightful. Service wise, everyone was very nice and treated us with respect. Food and drinks came out within a reasonable time frame. I hear at night it turns into more of a "club" scene with a DJ. Fun place! I was looking for a spot that was alive on a Thursday night, which can be difficult if you're not in Miami. This place did not disappoint. The DJ was awesome. We didn't try any food, but I had an espresso martini which was very good. If you're not into the club scene, but are looking for a late party vibe on a Thursday, this is the spot. It is a bit of a younger crowd, (we are in our 40's) but it's not ratchet and the girlies dress up at least. Great place for a bachelorette party after dinner. There were about 3 going on. LOVE this place - a definite Palm Beach favorite for us. Some places on the 'island' are overly bougee, slightly obnoxious, or unapproachable - but Cucina is fantastic in every way. The bartenders are not only great at their job/knowledgeable about the menu, but they're really nice, and caring. Their cocktail list kicks a$$, and the food we had on our last outing was excellent. Upon seating and ordering some cocktails, they gave us some warm, olive oil drizzled bread, which was amazing. For a starter, we split the burrata ravioli which was excellent - the cheese was really fresh and creamy, and the sauce was very flavorful. For a main, I had the Sorrentino chicken, which came breaded, with a lot of mushrooms, and cheese, and a slight truffle taste over pasta, as recommended by the waitress. My boyfriend had the Aussie Wagyu Short Rib, which he obsessed over. We were totally in a food coma after this meal. The bartenders came over to us multiple times asking how we liked everything. A long overdue review, but dined there on valentines this year 2024 and had such a pleasant and wonderful experience. The ambiance was quiet for a holiday and really made the setting feel more intimate. We were greeted by our server Daniel who took it upon himself to listen to our interests in cuisine and recommended some of the house speciality dishes that ended up blowing us away. This is our third time dining at Cucina Palm Beach and we always leave more than happy to return. We went ahead and ordered the Carmella di pasta appetizer as recommended by Daniel and it was amazing. The medley of sweet but savory flavors melts in your mouth along with the sheep's milk burrata that was stuffed into the pastas. It was warm, gooey, and delicious. Following up we shared the Sorrentino chicken dish for a meal. The portions are a good size and each meal packs a punch of flavors. Throughout our dining experience, Daniel checked in to make sure everything was going well and kept our alcoholic beverages and waters topped up. It was exceptional service anticipating our needs and maintaining that fine dining feel while keeping the mood light, comical and made to feel at home. We will certainly continue to return to Cucina and would look forward to dining again with Daniel as our server. It's quality employees that help make a great restaurant and memorable experience. It was a busy night so I understand our drinks took a little bit longer. We ordered the Pollo Parm and it was good but the best plate was the AUSSIE WAGYU SHORT RIBs. Also the dessert was great! This restaurant was near our hotel, only a block away. We came here for happy hour around 5pm and ordered brisket hamburger with fries from their happy hour menu. The burger was good, but wish it had some veggies like lettuce and tomatoes. My friend who ordered the chicken sandwich had lettuce and tomatoes in hers. Now with the alcohol it gets expensive. The beer was reasonably priced, but they charge extra $15 for Tito's. I wish the waiter/waitress who kept changing throughout the empty restaurant would've told us in advance. My friend couldn't even drink it because she said it tasted like sink water which means they didn't put much alcohol in her vodka soda. We personally wouldn't come back here. Our tab came out around $100 including tip & tax for 3 orders of burgers/chicken sandwich and fries with one alcohol drink for happy hour. Go somewhere else if possible. read more
