Dinner with family this evening. Beautiful eclectic interior and great friendly service from our server. Nice crisp glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc as we looked over the menus. I chose the Chicken Piccata for my Entree and shared the Baked Brie with Pear. This was a dish of baked Brie and six thin slices of pear, a pinch of pecan, drizzled with honey, accompanied by toast slices. It was good in spite of the pecan and pear rationing. My Chicken Piccata was a single chicken breast half, sliced horizontally, perfectly cooked, on top of a bed of linguine. The sauce had a slight lemon flavor with a dash of capers thrown in. (My wife had asked for a slice of lime and lemon for her tea, gave me the thin lemon slice to add ...it helped the sauce!) For dessert we shared the coconut cream pie. Most of the coconut flavor was in the crust. Again, great service and ambiance.

We were wandering around Antique Row and were looking for a lunch spot nearby. Belle & Maxwell's was conveniently located and offered the perfect respite, with a lovely decor and an inviting lunch menu. The restaurant was filled with stained glass windows and kitschy pillows. It was bright and airy. The server did a nice job but he seemed a bit dour, in contrast with the upbeat and pleasant atmosphere. We generally enjoyed our dining experience though. I had the tuna melt with white cheddar cheese on multi-grain toast. Tasty albeit not exceptional. One person in our group had the homemade crab cake with mixed veggies and a delicious sauce. That entree received a 5-star rating. Another person enjoyed the burrata, which consisted of mozzarella cheese and tomato on arugula, topped with a (overly?) hefty portion of fresh basil and a nice balsamic glaze. My husband had the grilled chicken club sandwich. He was disappointed with the chicken, which was a bit dry and not particularly flavorful. The entree was accompanied by a side salad. Would we eat here again? Probably, as the food was generally good and the location was convenient. The prices were a tad on the high side for lunch though. The portion sizes were adequate but not very large.

Made a reservation at this little place for 8 for my going away dinner . The atmosphere was fun and the service as excellent . William was our server and was very patient with all of our requests. The food was delicious , all of it ! It was such a nice experience and we had a great time .

Enjoyed the food- usually a huge fan of tiramisu, but their's was not my favorite. Our server was incredible and very attentive! The restaurant was empty, but I'm not really sure why. Overall I was very happy with my experience.

Everything in West Palm feels like a chain. It's a lot of restaurants telling you that "they do…read morethings differently around here" and then they give you the same product and same mediocre service as the place next door. I picked Batch while walking by because it had the cutest vibe but we weren't expecting much. We were greeted by Rachel, the manager, at the host stand. She didn't just lead us to our table, she walked with us. She asked us if we were from the area and what brought us in. It was all small talk but felt genuine. She waited until we were seated to hand us or menus and it didn't feel rushed. Gabby, our server, showed confidence and love for the place when she introduced herself. They make everything from scratch here and Gabby sold us on the eggrolls and mac and cheese to start. However, before those could arrive, Rachel came by with an order of biscuits for us. These were absolutely to die for and the gesture was very kind. The eggrolls, bbq sauce, and ranch were the highlight of our food adventure here. You could tell this was all freshly made. We both ordered burgers and those were very good, hearty, and not greasy. Their house sauce B1 added a perfect element of smokiness to the burger. Gabby's service ensured we always had refills, never had to ask for anything, and the table was always clean. Rachel stopped by and checked on us and also gave us cute glasses to take home with us and coupons to come back for happy hour for some "off menu snacking". So if you're asking if Batch does things differently, they absolutely do. We can't wait to bring our friends next time. Ask for Rachel and Gabby and don't sleep on the eggrolls!

Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

Manny, thank you for the kindness and safe service you have given us. You are usually the first person who takes care of the Buccan Family. You create the smile before we walk in the doors of Buccan or Imoto. Thank you. Solang' (my spelling is probably wrong and I apologize): You are such a beautiful soul. Both the car in front of us and our own were left waiting longer than expected. Food-wise, while everything was good, my meal arrived warm rather than hot, which took away from the experience a bit. Also, our food did not arrive at the same time. For a restaurant at this level, I expected better attention to that detail. Dessert was also a bit underwhelming visually as I was expecting something more polished and presentable to match the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Overall, RH delivers on atmosphere and service at the table, but tightening up the valet experience and food presentation/temperature would really elevate it to the next level.

The service starts disappointing from the moment you check in. The young women at the front desk are elegantly, dressed in the same color scheme, however, they are extremely standoffish and unpleasant. This is a classic problem in southern Florida. Usually, this is standard service in Miami, but the tendency is not for this kind of service in the West Palm Beach area, specially on Palm Beach Island. We were seated, and our waitress was very pleasant in explaining the menu and offering to get us drinks. We ordered a series of appetizers and several steaks with sides to split amongst four people. We had already investigated the wine list and knew the two wines that we were going to order. Neither of them cheap options, but at least they were on the menu. An extraordinary Pinot Noir and an American Granache blend. As the appetizers came out, we doubled up on one of them and asked for another order. They said that they would bring it right away. This in fact did not happen as the appetizer arrived at the same time as the main course meats. The problem here was that as we went through the appetizer, our meat on the table already pre-cut was getting cold. In addition to this, the steak sauces that were ordered and the vegetables that were also ordered to accompany the meats, did not come at the same time. As a matter of fact, the side vegetable never came. We were in a little bit of a hurry at the end of the meal because we had a train to catch. They were very efficient and offering us a assortment of desserts to make up for the lack of bringing the vegetables. The issue here is, if you are on a protein, vegetable diet, compensating you with a plate full of sweets is not appropriate. If you're like me, I came to this restaurant to eat meat, not to be filled up at the end of the meal with ice cream and cake cakes. I understand that this is a courtesy to show concern on the part of the restaurant management , however, it's disappointing. All of this being said, we must say that the quality of the meat was extraordinary. It's a shame it got cold, and the desired side dishes did not work out. In summary, I would still recommend this restaurant. There are small details that you have to be aware of so you can be on top of the service staff to make sure it doesn't happen to you. Be clear to them at the beginning that you don't want your meal to come out in stages. Bring us our appetizers all at the same time. If you cannot bring them out at the same time, do not bring them with the main courses. Make sure you are clear with them about what you want as your main courses. Take the plunge, try it. On your terms.
