The waitress was nice, though when I asked for Grey Poupon (or some Dijon mustard), she was confident I meant spicy brown mustard and brought me a little plastic cup of that. I thanked her and didn't correct her. She was still very good! Frequently asked my buddy and me if we wanted more Diet Coke or water. Went there for beers and dinner on April 25, 2026. The dining room had three tables with people in it. It took about 15 minutes for waitress to come and take our beer order when we got them. One of the beers were wrong. She took her to get a new one and that took her another 10 minutes to get back. When we ordered, I'd ordered the fish dinner when I received it The plating of it was just very un appetizing. The fish was greasy and the french fries were cold. My friend's hamburger plating looked the same and the french fries were cold. When I complaint the manager came over and offered to remake my plate. I said it should've been right. The first time just take 50% off. Keep in mind that fish platter was priced at $19. Oh, and the coleslaw was warm tasted horrible. Stopped in 4 happy hour after a Pickleball game. The service was prompt and our server made great recommendations. It's not often people seem to really like the food in the bar they work at. If it we weren't so hot, we would have tried the clam soup or onion soup. The artichoke spinach dip was delicious and cheesy. I tried pickle chips for the first time and really liked them. This place is too good! The staff was very friendly, we were greeted upon arrival and sat right away. There are plenty of seats in the one dining room with a large tv and an area with pool tables. This place is great for apps and drinks or a sit down dinner. Great daily specials. Highly recommend the loaded Monkey Chips, they are delicious! The pretzel was huge, the mustard dip was good. DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give a negative I would. Went here with hockey team, our team manager made a reservation so the Brass Monkey staff knew we were coming and to verify that they could accommodate us. Half of the team ate within 30 minutes I would guess... the rest of us sat at the table being told repeatedly our food would be out soon. Finally after over a hour!!! someone that was not our waitress came to the tables and finally told us it would be an additional 20 minutes!!! 1 hour and 20 minutes, for bar food!!! They served other tables that arrived after us during this time. Either our order wasn't put in or the kitchen staff is just completely incompetent! ZERO stars. I came in on a slow night. I asked for a place I could sit that would not interfere with any servers rotations or interrupt business because I wasn't ordering anything today. The employee then sat me at an empty booth out of the way and gave me a water and made me feel like I was ok to be there and enjoy my time. About 5-7 minutes later the manager asked if was going to order anything. I told him no and he instantly kicked me out. I wasn't bothering anyone. I was checking out the place for a group. My family and I had a pleasant experience here. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated immediately. Our waitress Christina was super friendly and attentive. She already knew to get the kids food out first which we didn't request but we greatly appreciate. The food was good actually, good enough for me to come back to try their other menu items, I have my eye on their twice baked potato. The restaurant is essentially split into two sections, the bar room and dining/billiards room, they have their own entrances but still connected inside. It is larger inside than I thought, and it was very clean as well. This is definitely a dive/sports bar -- although it's much bigger and more spacious inside than you could tell. It's located in the Publix shopping center. When we got there early on a Friday evening, they were having their monthly car show in the side parking lot. We entered on the dining room side (there's also the bar side -- which looked very busy). Most of their customers were an older crowd. We happened to come during happy hour and took advantage of their specials. The food specials were all under $10. My husband got their sausage, peppers, and onion sandwich on a ciabatta. He said it was pretty good. It came with (coated) French fries. I had their cheeseburger sliders which they gave me a choice of cheese. There were two to the order and I chose the tater tots (over the fries) as my side. Both were very good. Off their regular menu, I had a cup of New England clam chowder (clams in every bite!) and that was quite filling. I wound up taking one of my sliders home. Service was good. We were greeted on entering and seated at the table of our choice. They were busy, but our server (Pat?) was on top of everything. She had personality plus being efficient. The true test of a restaurant, pub or tavern is how they do under pressure. Well, 45 NY Jets fans showed up at the Brass Monkey at 9 am this morning. There was a skeleton staff, but it was great. The servers got everybody's name - and ran accurate tabs. The bloody marys, white wines and other morning beverages were great. The kitchen created breakfast sandwiches for us that had not been on the menu. By half time, the beers started to flow and they opened up their full menu - the food was great. Friends sampled almost everything on the menu (the sliders were excellent) and some that weren't on it. My buffalo chicken sandwich was surprising - the chicken breast was fresh and plump, perfectly sauced and cooked and dressed nicely with fresh lettuce, plump tomato and blue cheese dressing. Everyone in our group had a great time - - even if it was a clunker of a game. We'll all be back. Great place. read more

The philly sandwich was awesome and the bartender Abella(?) was very attentive and polite. Will visit again. They were playing a game called bar feud which looked like fun. The only thing that I didn't like was that on either side of me at the bar there were 5-6 empty seats and this lady who reeked of cigarette smoke sat next to me and snuggled her chair next to mine, tried several times to buy me a drink, her breath reeked of smoke too and I told her she smelled. I'm not one for ham so I asked to have that skipped which they were kind enough to accommodate. I got mine with fries and mom got slaw so we could swap out. Good plan too! Mom said she thinks the burger was smaller than when you get it on a non special day but honestly it was perfectly fine for me. Even better because I don't need a huge burger to satisfy the need! My only small issue is I did order it medium and it definitely wasn't medium, more like medium-well to well but it was still tasty so so major complaints. So this was a fun place to hang out. My girlfriend took me to an Indian restaurant further down the shopping center and since they didn't sell alcohol we needed after dinner drinks. We decided to take a stroll and came across this place. Coming from the direction of Publix it was a little weird on which entrance to walk into. The only door that was open was around the corner at the end. We sat at a table outside and was greeted nicely. Staff was friendly the entire time we were there. There also seem to be a lot of regulars who were extremely friendly to us and one gentleman even bought us ladies a round of beer. What a nice gesture on his part. I didn't take a good look at the inside; I just walk straight to the restroom. The restroom was quite interesting since there was no actual stalls just two toilets opened to each other. Apparently, they are still renovating. The outside stereo system played some fun music, beer is cold, staff was awesome.. people were awesome... what more do you want from a bar?!
