I really wanted to like this place. Havent been here for a number of years. I ordered Steak Frites which i assumed was "Steak Frites" (being that Bistro is in the name of the place!). What i received was a strip steak that looked and tasted like a solid Publix steak. I had to ask for steak sauce (which again defeats the purpose of steak frites). The fries were ore ida crinkle cut fries...again not bad tasting but not steak frites. I had no interest or desire in complaining...so i had a publix steak and supermarket fries for 39 bucks. (Which these days is just a little more than publix would cost). Texas Roadhouse is a way better option if you want fairly priced steak w great service. I hate to leave a bad review bc the service was fine and the place is nice...but any chef would know what steak frites are...lol read more

I ordered the beef short ribs, add a nonalcoholic beer about 50 bucks. There were 4 of us as a $200. Check. I called the restaurant told them. My beef was tough and chewy and not what the waitress recommended. I gave them the courtesy to give them an opportunity or to invite me back with maybe a 2for1 But no such offer, they said, sorry, we don't offer anything like that, unless it's at the time of service, I said, ok, the waitress recommended your dish but the beef was tough. It was a hundred dollar Check with my girlfriend and I was very dissatisfied with my dish.We won't be back. It's pricy here and not worth it. read more

Our first time eating here and we were happy with our experience. The snapper was very good and a generous portion. Overall everything was tasty. The deviled eggs were ok. Would probably not try again but the bacon wrapped dates appetizer is a must. read more

Went for my birthday.. first steak served was so tough, I could not cut it. Second one was a filet and had a very strange texture and flavor. I think after this I will give up red meat. Service was sub par and my husband's dish was also tough and had no flavor. The ambiance was lovely. However we had numerous issues with the food. 3 of 4 soups came out cold. My dinner came out with the wrong side and cold. 2 of us had the chicken francaise which was barely edible. all I tasted was flour. It was also cold. The server offered to bring me something else. But I honestly expected a little more. We had no visit from the manager after 4 cold soups. And 2 complaints on entrees. I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is great. It is quiet. Have to say that this was a great find. The menu and specials offered nice selections and not overwhelming. The wine choices are very good. Our server "Dalia" was a jewel. She is so pleasant and friendly. Helping us with our meal options. We met "Sam" another server and she was just as nice to bring us water while Dalia was busy with another party. Great teamwork! The chicken was excellent but both orders arrived at room temperature. One was sent back, and a new portion arrived fairly promptly at the correct temperature. Our server was helpful but was overstretched. It took a considerable amount of time for the remnants of our first courses to be cleared from the table. Noise level loud. We arrived at 8:00pm and were promptly greeted and seated. We were sat at a booth by the bar, two seater. It was very close to the bar with only a small walkway, which meant it was not very intimate as we could clearly hear the conversation going on at the bar. As far as the food, we ordered two appetizers and entrees. The Buffalo chicken egg-rolls were delicious and came with a blue cheese dipping sauce. The tostones were part of that nights chef specials and were impressive. The flavor was unique and enjoyable. My husband ordered the Gorgonzola crusted filet mignon and I ordered the Chicken piccata. The entrees left a lot to be desired. He liked his food, however, I found my chicken to be completely inedible. The texture and sauce of the chicken was off putting and I could not make myself enjoy it. The only thing I ate was the potatoes and broccoli, and even that I could not finish due to the sauce. Hands down the best restaurant in Wellington! Devine Bistro is a small family owned and operated restaurant that will have you wanting to come back time after time. Seating is both inside and out but the bar is my personal preference. I frequent this restaurant often and have made my way through a good portion of the menu. Some notable favorites are the deviled eggs, sea scallops with butternut squash ravioli, and the brased short ribs. They also have a homemade ever changing dessert menu, you can't go wrong with anything you order off of it. Opened Tuesday-Saturday from 5-9. Well this is a hidden delicious treasure!! From the service to the desert, ask for Danielle first of all, she is fantastic. An appetizer to start with is the crispy calamari it was perfectly cooked with such wonderful flavors. Then order the most delicious seared shrimp and scallops, a bacon white truffle risoto, the flavors are so mouth watering. I would also get the shrimp scampi with freshman age in sarti tomatoes and the garlic will blow you away. To finish the meal with such a great idea to share is the chocolate cake. Went for dinner with a group of 12 last night. There are so many new restaurants in Palm Beach County that we haven't been back to Bistro for quite a while. I forgot about how good the food is and how pleasant the environment is. The restaurant was totally filled but the service we received was exemplary. I had the fish special which was Dijon mustard crusted mahi-mahi served over green beans and roasted potatoes. It was not something I was craving, but I thought it would be healthy so I ordered it. It was absolutely fantastic and the serving was so large I took a little more than half of it home. Our group loved their dinners; one guest did not like her entree choice because of personal taste but it was beautifully presented. The entree salads were amazing as were the sandwiches some ordered. The beef and chicken dishes were all very well reveived. The appetizers were generously sized and well executed. The dessert menu was particularly appealing, but none of us could enjoy them because we had already consumed too much.The prices are very reasonable. The food was not average, it was erratic. French onion soup was great. I sent back the pork chop which was both saltier than a grounded tween and drier than a 80 year old at Forever 21. The filet was the better move. Service was pretty middling as well. If you look at the photos of the food, big sloppy platings of food, smothered in high fat toppings, and starchy sides, are the way that they shoot a little happy into the brain. I'd settle for a lot more consistent quality and a whole lot less gloppy fatty quantity. Excessive fats, and sugars, are the Achilles heel of the restaurant industry. They scream easy way out. The end result of too much high fat food like this is too much guest. Obesity is at epidemic status in the US, and this kind of a menu is a contributing factor, IMHO. Another won't thrill ya, won't kill ya kind of place. Mediocrity at its most mediocre. read more

I was actually reminded of this place by someone who told me during the summer / off season they have $6 BOTTOMLESS wine. Thats right - just keep on filling it up for a 1 time fee of $6.00 with the purchase of an entree. So my husband and I walked in and sat at the bar area. They have $5.00 happy hour appetizers. We were meeting another couple there. Bianca was our bartender. She had a great friendly personality. She gave us the specials, the wine menu and the regular menu. I had a Chicken Milanese upside down salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was a butterflyed out on my plate then the spring mix was on top of it with some tomato and fresh mozzeralla with a balsamic vinegar drizzle. It was so yummy you wanted to finish it all but you just couldn't. My husband had the Porterhouse Pork Chop topped with Marsala sauce. He said it was delicious. The couple we met one had the double french dip and the other had the seafood linguine. Both said their food was delicious and would be back. The only thing I wish they would change is the rug on the floor by the front door. We walked in and sat at the bar where our back was to the door and it was very hard to move the stool due to the rug being there. read more

This place deserves 5 stars and more. The food knocked my socks off, the drinks were great, and the service blew me away. This place is definitely a top spot among locals. We came here 6 pm on a Friday and we were immediately seated without a reservation- but I certainly recommend making a reservation because this places fills up quickly and it's a hot spot on weekend nights. The next thing I want to address is that I have no clue why there are some slightly negative reviews- my one guess is that perhaps the main demographic that eats here doesn't use yelp? But this place definitely is a regular place for locals. So they have a main menu and then a chefs special menu. We got the portobello mushroom soup from the special list and it blew us away. It was full of flavor and delicious! We also got their crispy spring rolls which were great too. Then we shared the shrimp and scallop with risotto as our entree. That was so good but unfortunately we couldn't even finish it but at least I got a picture of that. Also, the service was top notch. The best service I've had in Wellington. They were always filling my water- literally the second I drank my water they were there to fill it. Our waitress also went above and beyond in her service to us and getting us extra bread. Hit or miss. Have been going there for a while and unfortunately the chef and owner passed away recently- I think unexpectedly- and I'm assuming they are trying to transition. The quality of the food has declined. My last visit had cocktail shrimp that was mushy. Told the waiter and just received a sad face. Steak was tough and stroganoff was watery and tasteless. Prices are very high for clients to just be patient. My recommendation is to reduce prices and simplify the menu until challenges are resolved. read more

On this Saturday night this place was packed. Our reservation was at 7:15 and we were lucky to snag a booth. The menu is extensive and there is a decent wine list. I had seen a menu and was going to order the stuffed flounder but it was not on the current menu. I explained to the server that I was following keto and she suggested the schrimp scampi without the pasta and extra spinachdi that's what I ordered. It was delicious. Plenty of plump shrimp in a decadent sauce. My friend ordered the chicken florentine and she enjoyed it but the chicken was a bit dry. After we were done eating she took my extra sauce and poured it over her leftovers. It was THAT good! Her husband ordered the shrimp scampi over the angel hair and he devoured it. Mine ordered the sweet potato crusted tilapia which i tasted and it was delicious! My cappuccino was very frothy. We had great service. The place cleared out by 9 pm. There is seating outside with a large hedge to block out the parking lot view. We will definitely be back here and my friends are so happy to have found another gem in their neighborhood. read more

Came here for dinner with family and wow! Everything was great- all four of us enjoyed our meals and ate every bite. We also got dessert- the portions are huge! Definitely enough to share. They have a good happy hour. Our server was so sweet. I think the staff was a little overwhelmed when it got busier but we were told they were short- staffed, but it didn't seem that way to us as the service was still good. Let me start by saying how accommodating this restaurant and the people were. When I made the reservation on open table I put a message that it was my wife's bday. When we arrived they put us in a very nice booth for two at the back so we had some privacy. The appetizers and the entrees were delicious and cooked exactly as we had requested. Our waitress ( my apologies for forgetting her name) was so polite, attentive and cheerful, that it was a pleasure to have her as a server. My fiancé and I finally tried this restaurant last night after hearing his parents rave about it many times. We will DEFINITELY be back!! The tuna tacos and bacon wrapped dates were both DELICIOUS, and I would say the portions were fair! The chicken alfredo was satisfying (and a generous portion!) and the chicken parm sandwich was delicious! The menu had a good variety--many options to pick from, but without being overwhelming! This is a hidden treasure in Wellington - taken care of by Rhianna (hope i spelled your name correctly!) She new the menu and familiar with the food... was able to give info and answer q's. (remember - GF me!) Wanted to try the short ribs but alas - not GF... she recommended the Shrimp & Scallops with the Bacon Spinach Risotto.. can i say OMG! The dish was fabulous.. everything was tasty, cooked perfectly and one of my favorite things - a 2nd meal for the next day (reheated beautifully!). My hubby ordered Fried Green tomatoes... they were good but definitely more 'chef' styled then 'down home'! Fully encased in a very crispy batter with a nice brie type cheese layered between each.. Beautiful presentation! He also got the Mahi w/rice and a coconut drizzle. The Mahi was good but a little overdone .. the rice was good - he said it reminded him a little of old fashioned rice pudding as far as consistency. The wedge salads were standard - good and very fresh :) The atmosphere is comfortable, even cozy - but maintains a very clean and sophisticated feel. Went mid-week, not overly crowded, but still busy. Parking is simple. All in all a really nice experience. We are fans - we will be back !!! read more
