    Fish and grits

I visited Flare House in West Palm Beach for Sunday Brunch with my friends and we had a really fun experience. The bottomless mimosas were great, and even though there was a small mix-up at the beginning of our meal, the manager went above and beyond to make it right. He personally brought a bottle of champagne to the table and made sure our glasses were never empty. Truly excellent customer service on his part. Now for the food. The shrimp ceviche was flavorful, but the shrimp-to-tomato and onion ratio was a bit off. If you're expecting a dish packed with shrimp, you may be slightly disappointed, but the flavor overall was still tasty. I also enjoyed the bruschetta. It's served on small pita-style points that tasted lightly fried, which made the appetizer dense but also very flavorful. The standout for me was the fish and grits. The grits were cheesy, the fish was fried well, and the dish came together beautifully... definitely something I'd order again. The Sunday brunch also features a live DJ who is phenomenal and really sets the mood. Whether you're celebrating an occasion with friends, enjoying date vibes, or just hanging out and vibing over brunch, Flare House is a great option. Would definitely come back!

I went here to celebrate my cousin's birthday on Saturday night. There were a few hiccups along the way (like being out of oxtails and missing bacon) but the waitress did her best to fix any issue. The food was good and the drinks were strong. I ordered an Island Mama and American Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. My favorite part of the experience was the music and hanging out with my girls. The music was too loud though, and that made it hard to communicate with bartenders and my friends (my throat hurt from yelling). Management should turn it down to a reasonable level.

So went here for Father's Day. I will say that I didn't know that they recently opened when I booked it. The food was good. We were limited to the brunch menu, but ok. They have a good vibe going on. I really hope they make it. That being said I would recommend the shrimp and grits. I'll go back for the oxtails. Where you had me. Enjoy!

The wait staff was inexperienced and slow. The wait staff didn't even know the menu. The DJ/music was too loud and took away from experience. I had to scream to talk to the person sitting next to me. It took 20 minutes to get drinks and over an hour to get our food. The staff advised us it was only 1 cook. The food was just average. All 15 women in the group were extremely disappointed and said they weren't returning. We were there in the daytime and they turned on this weird pink lighting.

This place had wonderful service, a cutesy ambiance, and tasty food. The turnaround time for the food was super quick and the staff was very polite and attentive!

The food was delicious. In order of best/must try: Drink: Bloody Mary: homemade tomato juice and the hint of horseradish was perfection. Food: 1) crab Benedict- crab stuffed cakes with perfectly cooked eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. 2) filet + eggs + grits. The perfect amount of grits that were creamy and delicious. The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! The environment is super clean, service across the board is excellent and perfect Palm Beach vibes.

It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. Next time we're in the area I need to come back here. So good!!!

My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!
