A hidden gem. We came here from out of town for our anniversary. We had many meals in the area but this one was the best. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambience the food and the service was great and a bonus was the singer they had playing the music and singing for the night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Go visit you will not be disappointed.

Amazing service and really great food. Started with the eggplant rollatini which is a MUST TRY. Also had the burrata which was prepared perfectly. Split the vodka pasta and Greek salad. It's cool that they have gluten free pasta too. I would probably not do the vodka pasta again-wasn't my fave. But the lamb was delicious as were all the other main dishes.

We had such a great dinner at Pelican Cafe! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is super cozy and the whole staff was beyond friendly from the second we walked in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They start you off with complimentary bread and hummus which was so good. The food quality is impressive and the portions are huge. We ordered a ton: the burger, linguini with clams, and rigatoni bolognese were all delicious, and the flatbread and calamari were perfect for the table. Also, the chips, salsa, and guac were amazing. Everything paired perfectly with the drinks, which were 10/10. I also really appreciated that they didn't rush us. They were super intentional with the timing of when the appetizers and mains came out so we could actually enjoy each course. Such a solid spot, we'll definitely be back!

Pelican Cafe was quite delightful for dinner. The outdoor seating really proved to be a treat. The weather was perfect. It wasn't overly crowded and we weren't right up on the live music like they were in the dining room. We got to enjoy it with the doors open from a distance and not feel encroached upon. We didn't know that there was live music and it was actually fantastic. I enjoy jazz. The musicians were super talented and they played the often forgotten hit the year of the cat by Al Stewart. That made my night and tickled me. I love that song lol and it came out way before I was born. The food was pretty good. My only complaints were that the carpaccio was super small for what they're charging. And the sauce on the meatball dish was a bit sweet. But everything else was good. The wedge was really good. The swordfish was good, no complaints. It wasn't like special and fantastic, but it was good. The chicken piccata or franchise (I don't know which one it was), but it was enjoyed by the person who ordered it so was the fillet. The star of the night was that cinnamon gelato! Holy moly, not only did it elevate the tiramisu it was just perfect. It was perfect cinnamon gelato and I wish I could have it every day lol. On top of a very nice dining experience and atmosphere, the service was fantastic. The young man who was our waiter did a great job and he made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. I had only been there for breakfast in the past, but it very well may be a regular choice for dinner in the future. Another review giving it to you, Straight No Chaser. Enjoy!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a nice restaurant to walk into indoor and outdoor seating with white tablecloth tables , very clean atmosphere which I loved and greeted at the door with a smile[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] .My waitress Rylee was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained everything as this was my first time here with my husband for brunch . As there were no appetizers on the menu , but the waitress did come out with 2 donuts they put on every table which was nice . I ordered chicken quesadilla and a pumpkin pie martini and my husband a blue cheese burger with onion rings and an egg drop soup ? which he did ask for calm chowder that was written on a black board for special for the day , we did mention it and my waitress apologized . I love the martini but the chicken quesadilla was very bland no seasoning to the chicken and a green sauce on side I didn't like. There wasn't much chicken inside . On the other side of the table my husband said his burger was tasty and onion rings . To me overall experience with food wasn't what I expected. This place was very pricey.

We seated ourselves and handed the menus and she walked away didn't get her name no greeting... She came back to table and asked what can I get you to drink ? I asked if she served cocktails she said yes , but forgot to give menu she brought back menu I ordered a old fashioned and garlic rolls I asked for extra olive oil and garlic on side.. and pasta fazool soup. As I looked around the restaurant is very clean very quiet the only thing we heard was the guy in the back kitchen pounding I believe the meat . No music .. The waitress came back and brought garlic rolls and melted butter with hardly any garlic. I did ask for olive oil and garlic on side . The bread was soft , but no garlic rolls . The soup came out in a cup and it didn't look like pasta fazool soup.. I try the soup and it was bland and it look and taste like carrots were mashed up it like baby food ? I didn't like it neither did my husband. I ordered a steak Stromboli and my husband chicken parmigiana. Our order came out and my husband try a bite of his food and he spit it out the chicken wasn't breaded it was boiled and sauce added on top no cheese and pasta on side the chicken ... my food came out it look good . I cut a piece off and took a bite . The steak has a bitter aftertaste not sure why maybe the meat wasn't good and had an odor. My husband said don't eat it . I did order a cannoli I took that to go . Overall the restaurant was nice , but the food that we had wasn't good. The food needs to be worked on . After I left I got sick ..

My party of five was seated, and it took approximately 15 minutes before our server, Jaylene, greeted us or took our drink order. After placing our order, it took another 15 minutes for just two fountain drinks and waters to arrive. I asked if we could have some bread for the table, but the bread didn't arrive until about three minutes after our main entrées were served. Our appetizers actually came out before the bread. Unfortunately, the bread was extremely hard, and it was so difficult to cut that the knife wouldn't even go through it. We ended up having to tear it apart with our hands. Throughout the entire meal, we only saw our server about two times. The food runners delivered our appetizers and entrées, but Jaylene rarely checked on our table. She didn't return until it was time to ask how many to-go boxes we needed. One of the kids' meals was not flavorful, so I ended up returning it. When it was time to pay, I used the kiosk at the table. As I was about to rate the service, Jaylene quickly reached for the machine, making me feel like she was trying to prevent me from completing the survey. I want to be clear that I still love this restaurant, and the food is consistently excellent. However, the customer service we received during this visit did not match the quality I've come to expect. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve, because I would like to continue dining here in the future.

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints.
