Cozy traditional mid-century American diner situated in PGA Resort located at the first golf hole. There is something sentimental about walking into a dining restaurant that resembles that traditional dinner from the 1950's or earlier when golden era diners were sincerely at their finest. We had a wonderful breakfast along with good service. The Retro Diner was named for its location in PGA National Golf Resort. However, our outdoor dinner seating was accompanied by hungry aggressive birds that wanted their share of breakfast.

No real selection. Food was average at best. Better off going to Honey Belle which is also in the property.

I was down in the PGA yesterday and decided to have a late breakfast. I googled breakfast near me …read more A couple popped up but one stood out Soul Good . So only a few blocks away let's try it . You walk into a clean and well spaced out area . Self ordering platforms when you walk in the door . At first I was reluctant but saw it was fast had pictures of the item you want plus additional items at no cost I ordered a stuffed omelette with coffee and sourdough toast . You select a table number your going to and they. Ting your order to you . A very cute girl with a big smile brought me out a large ceramic coffee mug with a nice deep flavored coffee . It was perfect . By the time I added cream my Omelet was also on its way and I could see the steam coming off it as she was carrying it up my table . Again absolutely perfect and exactly what I was craving for . You know when you get a great meal you just eat it slowly and savory every bite . Well next time your around PGA stop in and see my new friends at Soil good . You will not be disappointed, whether a great cup of "big " coffee or a beautiful omelette breakfast. I haven't had the opportunity to try anything else yet but I have a good feeling everything on the menu is good . I wish I had taken a picture as the presentation was as nice as the meal .

I located this breakfast spot last week when I was in search of a new spot for my brother and I to…read moremeet for breakie. The menu and coffee options looked spectacular so we gave it a whirl. I appreciate a good menu with photos! They have a very nice coffee bar and feature different specials. I gave the iced latte with strawberry cold foam a try. It was topped with adorable heart shaped marshmallows. I don't eat them but I very much appreciated the presentation. My brother isn't a huge coffee buff so he ordered a Diet Coke. They have a self-service water station with cups as well as to-go containers available for grab and go. Menus are available either hard copy or via QR code. They offer table service but one must go to the counter to place their order. They also have a rewards program but one needs to download the app to utilize. The dining room is very large and well structured. They appear to use environmentally friendly products. The women's restroom was clean and the venue is kid friendly. One clever aesthetic I noticed was the border of the archway on the way to the restrooms. It's a bookcase with various cubbies filled with books. The dining room is large and open with booths, a counter top, and tables. The booths are very spacious. A view of the kitchen and front counter is available. Their logo is an avocado and a coffee bean just in case you're wondering. I couldn't figure out the bean. Lol The menu is vast with a lot of great options but in the end I selected the Soul Good breakfast which consists of sourdough toast, avocado, smoked salmon, roasted tomato, homemade baked beans, grilled mushrooms, and two eggs of your choice. I opted for scrambled well done. This breakfast is more costly than the others but also is enough for 2-3 meals depending on your appetite. I loved the variety this meal offered. My brother enjoyed a breakfast sandwich. In the end, it was a great choice! The menu is vast, the coffee and meals were good, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying something else... possibly the poke. If you're a matcha lover, their creations looked good.

The Cooper Craft Kitchen & Bar is what happens when great food, good taste, and chill confidence…read moreall sit at the same table--and nobody's trying too hard. It's low-key tucked away in Palm Beach Gardens, but once you're in, it's giving "why don't more people know about this?" energy. Now let's get into brunch--because this place understands the assignment. The shrimp and grits? Elite. Bold, rich, perfectly balanced. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices--mainly why you haven't been eating this more often. The shakshouka is flavorful, comforting, and executed cleanly. And the waffles... listen--these waffles are not here to play. Crispy, fluffy, and dangerously easy to finish. Order them knowing full well you're not sharing. The menu truly lives up to the idea of "a taste of everything." There's so much to choose from that decision paralysis is real--but in a fun way. No bad options, just tough choices. The vibe is on point. Modern, warm, stylish without being loud about it. The kind of place that feels just as right for brunch as it does for a relaxed dinner. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and actually happy to be there--no bad attitudes, no weird energy. The manager is hands-on, professional, and clearly runs a tight (but chill) ship. Is it a little tucked away? Yes. Is it worth finding? Absolutely. Consider it a hidden gem with main-character energy. Bottom line: Great food. Strong brunch game. Beautiful space. Solid service. For me, it's five stars every single time--no overthinking, no debate. If you know, you know. And if you don't... now you do. More pics to follow...

My husband said his burger was extremely good, moist and tasty, sweet potato fries were flavorful and perfectly cooked. I had the shashuka and it was so full of flavor, the eggplant was well roasted, the eggs were just the right amount of runny and the naan was warm and pillowy. 10/10

As it was relatively recently remodeled, the restaurant is clean and very nicely decorated in a very Palm Beach style. The servers have always been extremely friendly and helpful more importantly, they are really on top of helping with the menu and refilling drinks, etc.. As for the food, we've enjoyed pretty much everything we ate over multiple visits. I would certainly recommend any of their pizzas, especially the mushroom. The polenta is exceptionally good. We've also liked many of the entrées, including fish dishes, and their house fried chicken. The menu has a little bit of everything, so I feel like most mostly any type of group would be able to dine in here. We've been on a number of vacations and plan to return..

The hotel has a very cool 70s vibe that continues in the restaurant. We were there the day after the course hosted the Cognizant Classic so there were many tournament items still on the property. There's a bar area with indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor. Bibiana was our server. She was friendly and helpful. We had the signature HoneyBelle Fried Chicken Thighs and the FL Shore Tacos. The green tomato slaw served with the chicken was EXCELLENT!!! I could've eaten many more servings. They do have a full bar and serve Coke products. There's plenty of parking. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.
