The menu has something for everyone, portions are generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere has that laid-back beach town feel that makes you want to linger over one more cup of coffee. Five years ago, we visited the Juno Beach Cafe - and were unimpressed. Today we went back, after seeing nice reviews on Kind Diners. We had a great meal - we were seated promptly. Even though the restaurant was "swamped," the servers were scurrying around - working quickly. Everyone was friendly. The new decor was bright and colorful. Our food was great: My Cali Omelet was perfectly cooked and stuffed with avocado chunks, bacon and cheddar cheese. A gentleman at the table next to us that the hash browns were "the best on earth." I can't opine on that, but mine were outstanding. My wife's omelet (goat cheese, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes) was equally good. Our server was terrific- she accommodated my wife's request for "just strawberries" as her side. The place was still swamped when we left, but we'll certainly be back. Juno beach Cafe is a cute little cafe that is open for breakfast and lunch. The menu is very extensive with lots of yummy choices. I decided on the Salmon Benedict which was on top of a huge potato pancake. The flavor of all the ingredients together was so good. My husband had the banana pancakes with eggs and bacon. The pancakes were huge and full of pecans and bananas. The bacon was perfectly crisp and cooked to order. Our server was Spencer and he was quick and efficient. I have eaten breakfast at this restaurant many times but this is the first time I've ever had lunch. I ordered a lunch combo - soup and half a sandwich. I opted for a new soup to the menu the beef barley. It was a good choice. The broth was rich and flavorful and filled with barley, beef and vegetables. Along side of that was my BLT on white toast which probably had more bacon in the half sandwich than you get in a full sandwich any where else. It was served with pickles and plenty of potato chips. I visited Juno Beach Cafe with a colleague around 7am on a weekday. He had french toast and I had the Uncle Eddie's Pancake Strawberry Cheesecake griddle. We both ordered them "Platter Up" which adds 2 eggs and choice of breakfast meat. The pancakes were light and fluffy and there was a light fluffy sweet cream cheese filling. It was not too dense, nor overly sweet. The tart fresh berries and REAL VERMONT MAPLE syrup made this an absolutely perfect breakfast. Coffee was hot, fresh and frequently refilled. I really would rate my experience a 3.5. The food was definitely a 3 but they get bonus for replacing that nasty, runny fried egg they gave me. We both lucked up on parking spots and made our way to the checkin table conveniently located outside. We seated quickly in an inside table and my friend ordered a nasty azz Bloody Mary (she loved it, I just gag at bloody marys). For food I ordered the strawberry cheesecake Belgian waffle and she ordered hush wee and eggs with an added waffle, which was ridiculously overpriced. I kinda think the whole spot is. The waffle alone was $15 before I added $5 for the two over medium fried eggs and bacon. But that's the price of Juno and popularity. They did not hesitate to remake my egg that oozed out yolk like a sunny side up or over easy egg than a medium. I almost threw up in my mouth. I didn't want to risk it so I went with scrambled the second go round. My waffle was tasty, nice sized strawberries and good enough of the cheesecake filling. Bacon was crispy and my scambled eggs weren't too shabby! Service can be hit or miss and getting a couple of cups of coffee or tea can be challenging. Need to ask for Jelly or butter when you get toast as it's not on the table. The menu is largely appetizing with so many options and signature dishes. Kept my order simple as I was traveling for work and needed to eat light and depart. Absolutely love this place. And apparently everyone else in the area does too because the line is always super long for a table! I used to dine here on the weekends as a kid with my mom and brother, and it's nice to see that nothing has changed. The same atmosphere and delicious menu classics are why I still always make sure to come here when I visit home. I ordered something different for me which was the shrimp and grits and wow it was so good. It came with toast and a couple eggs on top and was so creamy. Definitely comfort in a bowl. The serving size was huge so I took half home and it was even better after sitting in the fridge overnight. I also had a chocolate chip pancake since that's my all time favorite and the recipe is exactly the same as it's always been. JBC makes the best pancakes hands down! This cafe is extremely popular. It's open for breakfast and lunch only, but they have a great and diverse breakfast menu. There's some fun stuff, such as a Monte Cristo sandwich (the bread is French toast), Belgian waffles and blintzes, and of course all kinds of egg dishes. I've had a very good omelet there before, along with the spuds casserole, which is hash browns with onions, bacon, tomato and melted cheese. On my recent visit, I decided to go really out of the box and get the Hush Wee and eggs. It's a Lebanese dish that the family/owners say on the menu they grew up eating. It's ground beef with pine nuts and onions, and they serve it with pita bread, olives, feta, and hash browns. I was excited, but I will say that it was a little disappointing. The scrambled eggs were overcooked (very common at diners/restaurants, and the dish was kind of bland and definitely dry. I took it home and added a giant spoon of chili crisp, however, and all was well. My other complaint is that they don't offer home fries as well as hash browns. I'm a home fry girl. BUT, it's a great little place. Nice employees, nice tables outside, and good food. read more

Great combination of lettuce, avocado, tomato, pecans, bacon, shredded cheese, and a delicious Dijon dressing. Loved it. Naturally I ordered a side of hash browns, also crispy and delicious as usual.
