But today for the first time I varied from my "Go to" breakfast and tried something different. I needed something SUBSTANTIAL and had a craving for WAFFLE. It was SPECTACULAR! I almost didn't even want to write this review because I want to keep this stellar find all to myself, but this little gem deserves all the recognition and positivity it can get! We stumbled across the Cypress Cafe on a whim since we're always looking for another good breakfast joint. The team at Cypress did not disappoint! Our servers were very sweet and attentive, they didn't have that jaded diner attitude that a lot of servers have, which was refreshing. The food was wonderful, my husband's corned beef hash and eggs were prepared just the way he liked it. My own meal was classic and hearty, can't go wrong with biscuits and gravy. It is small but mighty, everything was clean and evenly spaced. We'll definitely be returning, this might just be my new favorite breakfast spot in the Jupiter/Tequesta area! read more

Cypress Cafe has a unique occasional special at lunch that's the Best in Florida. It's a Midwestern specialty sandwich that's normally easy to find in Florida It's a Breaded Pork Tenderloin sandwich . Theirs is delicious and equal to the Best of the Midwest. I should know. I spent most of my life in the Midwest and always on the hunt for this delightful sandwich. Cypress Cafe is the best in the state. It's perfectly prepared with mayo, Pickles and lettuce with the option of a sliced onion or tomato that I normally skip especially if the tenderloin is properly prepared. Theirs is ! I had back surgery .. all the time I was gone I was dreaming of returning to my favorite breakfast place. 2 1/2 months has gone by and I finally got my chance to return .. but something changed .. something was different .. they were even BETTER THAN THEY WERE BEFORE .. Better than I recalled .. what a relief to me, that they are not satisfied with being the same .. that they strive to outdo their previous service .. it's the way a business should be run. The food is simple, hearty, and delicious. The parking lot is very small and Google maps brought me around back instead of to their storefront. It's pretty small on the inside, just a couple of tables and booths but a countertop seating also, and good prices. Very nice server, and continual refills of coffee. I love this little spot. It is small inside so don't be surprised when you walk in. But its perfect. Many spots at the bar and maybe about 5 tables. The girls are so nice. I highly recommend trying one of the daily specials on the board. This is a great place for a quick breakfast or for a lunch break any day of the week. Work from home? Tried going to Oceana Coffee today and had a very bad experience there so we jumped on yelp to find a breakfast place nearby. Cypress was great! Staff was so friendly and the food was all delicious. The omelette was perfectly cooked, not overdone. The pancakes were big and fluffy. Hash browns were crispy and the homemade strawberry jam was delicious. Only minor thing was it could have been a few degrees cooler inside. But not a deal breaker! Will definitely be back. read more

I'm updating a prior review. Obviously I wasn't impressed with my past visit but I do try to be as fair as possible with places with follow up visits. I'll admit after my last encounter it took over a year to go back. The owner contacted me personally which I greatly appreciated. Her sincerity was also a reason I had decided to try again. With that being said I have eaten there a few times now over the past 6-7 months to make sure my review weren't made in haste or biased. Each time the staff was pleasant. I was relieved the waitress I had issues with was no longer there. The food is still about the same, I have no & had no issues with that aspect. The owner appears to be there most of the time so things do run very smoothly. Both her and the other waitress are friendly and are very receptive towards customers entering the café. I used to go here for lunch on Saturdays. It has such a warm, friendly atmosphere, the kind you'd expect from a small mom-and-pop establishment near the country side. Very charming. When I first visited this place, I only had my debit card on me and this restaurant only accepts cash. Luckily I was with someone, so I hopped on over to the BoFa down the street to get some money. Our waitress said, "Don't worry about it. Just pay us the next time you come back." How cool is that? They didn't even know who I was and they were willing to extend me some credit lol. Found this little gem while visiting family in Jupiter, FL. Phenomenal home cooked food, great service, even better prices. this little hole in the wall is a must-visit if you need breakfast in a pinch. Their omeletes are big, fluffy, and flavorful. My wife had their Italian sausage & eggs breakfast and the sausage was delicious. Our glasses never went empty and we were constantly tended to even when new customers had been coming in and sitting down. Will definitely be coming back again! read more

Quiet little place for breakfast and lunch in Tequesta. They have 7 tables and 9 bar seats, so super small. I went in at 10 am on a Monday and there were a handful of people dining. I tried Artist Grille but it is closed on Monday so I found this place. The menu is printed on the placemat which reminded me of places from my childhood. They have ads for local businesses on them also. I selected the garden omelet minus mushrooms. It was super fluffy and looked like it had been fried in oil. I am hoping olive but cannot be sure. It was also loaded with veggies. I also ordered grits which are not really allowed on my low carb diet. I loaded them with butter, salt, and pepper then ate just the top layer so not too many carbs. I would go back, although as you have come to know I like attention from the wait staff. One girl took my order, a second came over to take my order (she missed the first one taking it), I received my food and never saw either again until they placed the check on the table. I also like when they offer to make my remaining iced tea (3/4 of it) into a Togo for the road but that didn't happen. read more

One of the top 3 breakfast/lunch joints in Jupiter, IMHO. You can tell the dishes are made from scratch. Really good daily soups, the best pancakes, and good coffee. Very friendly restaurant. They say "hi" when you walk in and you can choose your own table (8 or 9 tables available) or a seat at the counter. I usually get an omelette and hash browns and it is always good -- the times I have ventured off the menu and ordered a daily special (like eggs Benedict) it wasn't as good as the regular menu items (flavorless and cold hollandaise) so I stay with the basics which are always good. They also come by frequently to refresh your coffee. read more
