I'd heard about Hobo's from one of the girls at The Nook (one of my favorites). She frequency's Hobo's so it had to be good. I hated the skinned alligator on the wall. I went on a weekday morning and there were less than 10 people in the restaurant, no lines no waiting. I sat at the counter and watched the cook do her thing. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was awesome and HUGE - I had half then and half for lunch

My son and I went here on the way back from a doctor's appt and then to his school. He absolutely loves the chocolate chip pancakes with bacon ! And I had two soft boiled eggs and coffee. it's a good ol' fashioned type of place- you come here for the food. It's a little pricey for breakfast but well worth it. We will be back. It's tucked away in a shopping plaza!

This was my first time at Hobos. I went with a group of 8 at around 10:30am. Some people ordered lunch and others breakfast. There were very few people in the restaurant but it took a long time for the food to arrive. Even the regulars were surprised at the wait. At the recommendation of our server, who said their special seafood chowder was full of seafood, two of us ordered the dish. The chowder had VERY little seafood and was mostly potatoes and carrots. The broth was tasty but the seafood was pretty scarce. My serving had one minuscule shrimp the size of my thumb nail and a few tiny pieces of calamari. Very disappointing. I understand they have a pretty extensive salad bar for lunch if you like that sort of thing. The salad bar is located by the giant Gator hide on the wall!!!!

Had a great time for the first time here with an old friend who became a business networking friend. It was both of our first times here it's a hole in the wall but my bacon cheese burger was great! They gave me a great amount of freshly perfectly cooked bacon on it. I loved that! And they didn't skimp on the cheese or lettuce and tomatoes served it with all the stuff I love our server asked me if I wanted any dipping sauces and she was great. My boy had the Rueben he loved it and the fries are freshly cut potatoes very tasty and one of my fav parts! We'll definitely be back thanks guys!

Great little diner. Had bfast here and eggs & potatoes were cooked to my request. The biscuit is homemade and delicious! Definitely will return.

Hobo's Gourmet Kitchen delivers on a great breakfast. They are popular so there may be a wait but it is definitely worth it. Their menu covers all of the basics and they are accommodating to any changes that you request. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean. Service is friendly and quick. The omelets are wonderful. They are light and fluffy with the perfect amount of add ins. The pancakes are thin and very tasty. The corn beef hash was amazing. Nothing was served greasy or covered in the fake butter. They cook the bacon nice and crispy and refill your coffee often.

While everyone else leaned into pancakes and eggs, I went straight for the club sandwich -- and wow. First of all, the portion size is HUGE. I'm talking stacked-high, could-easily-share (but won't want to) kind of huge. Fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and packed with flavor. Definitely not your average breakfast plate. The staff was incredibly friendly and impressively fast. Even during the morning rush, we felt taken care of and never rushed. Food came out quickly, hot, and exactly as ordered. Whether you're a die-hard breakfast fan or someone like me who'd rather have lunch any time of day, Sara's Kitchen is a fantastic choice. Our wait time was around 20 minutes and then our party of 6 was seated (3 adults, 3 kids). Our drink order was promptly taken, and we had a moment to browse the menu. My son went with the Mickey pancake and side of bacon, with a kids apple juice. I was torn between trying their French toast or keeping it simple and getting a breakfast sandwich. I ended up selecting the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of seasoned fries, with an extra sweet Arnold Palmer. Wait time for food did not feel exceptionally long. Everything looked great upon table placement. My bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was tasty. However, the egg-to-bacon ratio was a bit off. The small portion of bacon I did have was stacked into the center of the sandwich, making it difficult to enjoy in each bite, while the egg overpowered the overall flavor. The seasoned fries, however, were absolutely delicious. My son devoured his Mickey pancake. His bacon was a bit overcooked, which made it less appealing to him, but I had no issue adding it to my sandwich, fixing the scarcity issue there. I would most certainly return.

Founder Tim Timoteo chose the name Berry Fresh because berries are synonymous with healthy eating, and his vision was to serve fresh, farm to table food in a welcoming atmosphere. With more than 50 years of restaurant experience, Tim built the business around quality food, reasonable prices, hospitality, and service with a smile. His son, Mitch, soon joined the family business as they expanded into Stuart and Jupiter, eventually becoming Director of Operations in 2018. After Tim retired, Mitch took over as CEO and Head Berry, a role he continues today. Regulars might still spot him taking orders at the counter or helping in the kitchen. Sadly, Tim passed away in 2023, but Mitch continues to honor his father's legacy while growing the restaurant into the local favorite it has become. The restaurant is bright, clean, and inviting, with a spacious main dining room and a smaller adjoining room featuring a bar along one wall. They also have outdoor patio seating in front. I've wanted to visit for quite some time, but their 2:30 p.m. closing time never seemed to fit my schedule. Berry Fresh intentionally focuses only on breakfast and lunch, embracing the philosophy that less is more. The menu, originally designed by Tim alongside the restaurant's chef, centers on fresh, made-from-scratch dishes that change with the seasons. Whenever possible, ingredients are sourced from regional farms, including peaches and heirloom tomatoes from Georgia and strawberries from Plant City, Florida. The menu has breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. Tim's personal favorites were the stuffed French toast and pancakes, both of which are still served today. I appreciated their weekday lunch specials, which let you pair a soup or salad with either another salad or half of a sandwich. I ordered the half BLT with the Bistro Salad, and it was exactly what I wanted, light, fresh, and full of flavor. Of course, I couldn't leave without trying their signature Very Berry Lemonade, and it hit the spot on this scorching day. It was refreshing, fruity, and the perfect partner to lunch. With fresh food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere, you'll definitely be berry glad you came.

It was packed as we were walking up. Greeted my a lovely cashier who explained the seasonal drinks to me. I settled on the coconut cloud latte. We kept an eye out for a table while we waited for our order. The latte was fluffy with the cold foam but pretty bland until I used the cutest pink heart straw and tasted the sweetest at the bottom of the cup. For my lunch I ordered the ah turkey cheddAAA on jalapeño cheddar sourdough. The sandwich was massive and pre cut so I saved the other half for later. I didn't taste much jalapeño nor cheddar on the first half of the bread and the sandwich was also pretty bland. I rarely tasted the ligonberry drizzle. It would definitely be better if the ligonberry was in the actual sandwich. Hubby let me try a bite of the turkey lurkey he order and oh my it was amazing. The house made sage mayo and provolone were delicious. The turkey on the other half of my sandwich had more flavor and I finally tasted the jalapeño and cheddar in the sourdough. I guess all the flavors finally marinated together after sitting for a day. It still lacked the ligonberry taste so I will order the turkey lurkey on my next visit.

Diner Review: A Sunny Saturday Delight Date: Saturday,…read more11/2025 Time: 7:15 - 8:25 AM Weather: Sunny Ambiance: Walking into this diner felt like stepping into a cozy retreat with a charming twist of nostalgia. The venue boasts a retro counter, cozy booth seating, and numerous tables, making it an inviting spot for folks of all mobility levels. Although we aren't physically challenged, the easy navigation impressed us. The abundant windows let in a flood of sunlight, perfect for those with vision challenges. When we arrived, the place was pleasantly quiet, but by the time we left at 8:15 AM, it turned into a bustling hub! Ah, the magic of daylight savings--proof that a week later, everyone's still waking up at the crack of dawn for cracked eggs! Service: Upon entering, we were greeted with the freedom to sit wherever our hearts desired--a rare treat! The staff was plentiful, with servers, runners, and bus staff dancing around like a well-choreographed musical number. Our main waitress, Payton, was exceptional--accommodating and patient, especially since it was our first visit. Each time we needed extra napkins or a coffee refill, staff members swiftly responded as if they had been trained to anticipate our needs. Everyone radiated friendliness--no disgruntled faces here! Even amidst a mini waitress convention in front of the beverage area, the camaraderie among the staff was evident, all while keeping an eye on customer needs. It's nice to see people enjoying work instead of treating it like a chore! Food: Now onto the pièce de résistance! For my order, I sought Payton's expert guidance on a hybrid egg dish. I decided on the Taylor Ham pork roll, complete with cheddar and a fried egg, all nestled in a toasted croissant, accompanied by crispy hash browns. Let's just say, my taste buds were throwing a party! As for my husband, he ordered a Swiss omelette with home fries. He described it as "underwhelming," but I suspect it was simply a texture issue; I make my omelettes a bit fluffier and filled to bursting, while Southern Kitchen opts for a thinner, crepe-like style. Despite his mixed feelings about the omelette, the hash browns won his heart, and the coffee was served hot and flavorful--essential for any successful breakfast outing! Value: For two hearty breakfasts and two delightful coffees, the bill tallied up to $31 before gratuity. Average $15 a head. Not bad! Will We Be Back?: Absolutely! With the promise of a succulent egg sandwich, endless piping hot coffee, and stellar service, we're ready to add Southern Kitchen to our lineup. Who could resist that!
